My home was built in the 40's, added on to and has had two layers of old different types of siding…read moreon it...I also made two additions, making it very challenging to redo the complete exterior all new. I had a couple of other outrageous estimates and was needing it done soon as one of my additions had been sitting with just wrap on it for several months. Scott Miner came out gave me a very reasonable estimate and even being a busy time for them worked me in soon after. I could not have been more impressed by their installers talent and precision. Scott was very attentive to the progress and made sure I was happy with the results...I literally told him "you have an artist working here." Very please and have recommended them to friends who have also had them do work... Great family operated business!

Buyer beware. This…read morecompany doesn't just have poor customer service--they appear to retaliate against customers who leave honest negative reviews. We spent nearly $9,000 on a patio cover after explaining that durability was extremely important because we have large dogs. Nobody bothered to tell us the support posts were thin aluminum that dent incredibly easily. Nobody bothered to tell us the gutter opening was so small that it's nearly impossible to clean and is lined with sharp metal edges. When we first reported these issues years ago, we were essentially told, "Too bad." One owner even admitted the gutter design had been a known flaw for over 20 years. Twenty years. Yet they continue selling it without disclosing the issue to customers beforehand. Fast forward to this year. The gutter is still impossible to clean. Leaf blower? Doesn't work. Hose? Doesn't work. Pressure washer? Doesn't work. The only way to remove debris is by reaching into the tiny opening with your hands, which has resulted in my husband cutting himself multiple times on the sharp metal. Two months ago we called because the patio cover was still under warranty. We were told a work order would be submitted and someone would contact us. Nobody ever did. So today we called again. The first employee agreed that our gutter didn't sound right and told us it should have around 3 to 4 inches of clearance. He said he'd submit another work order. Less than ten minutes later, my husband got a call from management. Not to schedule the repair. Not to apologize. Not to honor the warranty. Instead, he was told they would NOT service our patio cover because I left an honest negative Google review years ago. Think about that for a second. Their response wasn't, "Let's make this right." It was, "You criticized us, so we're refusing to help you." That tells you everything you need to know about this company's integrity. They had multiple opportunities over the years to fix this issue, earn back our trust, and prove they stand behind their work. Instead, they chose pettiness over professionalism. A good company isn't defined by never making mistakes. It's defined by how it handles them. Kool Breeze has repeatedly shown that once they have your money, accountability goes out the window. Spend your money elsewhere. There are plenty of contractors who actually stand behind their work instead of punishing customers for telling the truth.

I'd give zero stars if I could…read more We had Jim Miller come in and do a water heater last year. He had a kid come in and replace the water heater. The kid that replaced the water heater stated their was not enough space to take out the water heater and ended up taking out a wall. When he finished knocking out the wall, he said there was still not enough room and had to take out ANOTHER wall. So two walls totally torn out and a huge mess left, we had a new water heater that worked and a hell of a lot of wall repair to do. Flash forward one year and two weeks. The water heater started leaking from the cold supply. I asked Jim to come and fix it and figured it would be covered by their warranty. It wasn't they charged me $150 to "fix it" Less than two weeks later it is leaking again. Jim is claiming it's not warranted and is a bad hose. They didn't replace the hose, even though the plummer Jim sent to the house said they don't use those hoses and stated at that time that is was likely the hose. Jim is claiming that the work is still not warranted (from two weeks ago.) His guy should have replaced the hose to fix the leak. He's refusing to come fix the leak. It's fine, I can go downstairs and replace the hose myself. I'm just not entirely comfortable down there since my son died down there. This is why I paid him to fix it in the first place. The real issue is I shouldn't have too and also every time I've replaced a water heater, I've been told to also replace the hoses. Or if it was leaking he could have replaced the hose and fixed the leak. Bottom line: I recommend anyone else in addition to looking up how to fix it on Youtube and just doing the work yourself.
