We hired TCM to remediate some mold we found in our garage. The team arrived and it was 3 young men. Each one shook my hand, looked me in the eye and the leader made himself known very professionally. He shared the plan with me and while he was sharing the plan with me, his two other team mates stated working. There was no sitting around, playing or unprofessionalism. These guys talked the talk and walked the walk. They did exactly what they said they would and gave me a briefing at the end, showing me exactly what they said they would. Called 8-8-24 they came out and did the mitigation, charged for things that were not correct, Ex:moved gas dryer, the dryer is electric The estimate had one price the total was different Ex: carpet was 4.45 sf ,no carpet was installed Vinyl was 4.45 sf they charged me 7.97$ sf After we talked and agreed to Home Depot (1.49 sf)was cheaper and they said there would be less then home depot and better, Home Depot was 6 mm there's was 4.5 mm Closet doors weren't put in closet shelves weren't put in,they charged me for these things, My advice double check your bill!! Compare to the estimate and look over the work they"did" I'm missing end caps to my heater boards, along with heater boards. They also said they painted the ceiling, I have pictures to prove all the things I was billed for and wasn't done I ALSO have emails that state things they said and didn't do Be WARE OF THIS COMPANY read more

Do not hire this company. We thought we were hiring professional flooring company, they put particle board over Under Floor Heating and it had to be replaced 3&1/2 yrs later. I can't say enough great things about TCM! The windstorm in January destroyed our house and we were devastated. We called TCM and they worked their tails off to make sure our home was fixed in the small window that Alaska has due to weather. Nathan Pitney leads by example and isn't afraid to get dirty with the crews that work so incredibly hard to get it fixed. He wasn't too good to help his subordinates out to make sure things were fixed before the weather changed. Being in the military we always say that a leader says "go" but a great leader says "let's go". I am so so so thankful for everyone at TCM! After filing an insurance claim for damages from a leak, I sought out their services. They kept wanting to know what the insurance claim amount was before they would bill me. I would not give them this info as it was not necessary. Anna who became very rude kept calling me to pay my Bill and I told her that I had not received one. She kept insisting they needed to know my insurance check amount. Mind you, the first guy who came to check things out prior to service commented that they were happy I used USAA because they paid more. I still refused to tell them and they eventually sent a bill, which had to be corrected due to an charge for something they did not do. The bill was also way lower than my insurance check. After much unnecessary stress I said I was going to give them a poor rating and they threaten me with a lawsuit for defamation. I have the receipts and phone messages to prove all this. Please double check your bill from this company and if you give them your insurance check amount the bill will most likely be that amount or more. read more

Not happy with several projects they were in charge of. Things started off wonderful, estimating staff said they could do it all. Once the implementation staff entered the mix we had never ending issues during a mold remediation and remodel project that went on for a very long time and still have not been solved. read more

Well, they are better than their competitor (Taylored Restorations) who never even bothered to return my call. The initial person I speak with on the phone is pleasant and professional. Where it breaks down is the rest of the team: we are told somebody will be out and nobody shows up or even calls to say that they are delayed or won't be out. Twenty days after my call, there still has been nobody out to start the mitigation work. I am told that I'll get a call on Monday for scheduling and then nobody calls. Our tenant has been camping out with friends for 20 days now and there is no end in sight. We don't have the use of three rooms in our house due to water damage and nobody can tell me when they will be coming out to work. In the lower 48, they'd be out of business by now with this lackadasical attitude. They can function here because their competitor is even worse. read more

Do not trust your home repairs with this company. They are a "carpet company" , Not a restoration company! They attempted to fix a plumbing problem in our kitchen,the next day it broke again and flooded the kitchen for the second time. When they measured for replacement of our floor , we later found out they made a mistake on the measurements . Shorting our replacement bid by over $1000 ! They have shown incompetence throughout this process. Our homeowners insurance company is reviewing TCM for negligence. Consumer beware !! read more

They were great in remediating my house (again!) after the initial contractor failed to perform their jobs effectively. In fact, the first contractor was charging me a lot more for the same thing again that TCM Restoration was doing! TCM had the carpets cleaned and the crawlspace properly completed for a lot less than the first contractor I had worked with for a while. They were responsive to my needs and was able to have it completed in a reasonable amount of time. read more

I have used TCM several times and their customer service is incredible - a real treat for someone in my position. 1 year ago I had a client sustain water damage to their home. We recently had a burst pipe and was advised by our insurance agent to contact TCM as she had personally used them recently. They showed up after several hours and we were advised they wouldn't b able to do anything until the next day. We had already fixed the pipe and cleaned up most of the standing water in the crawl space. After lots of discussion and several phone calls we convinced them to put dehumidifiers down there. The next day they gave us an estimate of $8,000 to clean up & deal w any mold. We were advised they would update us on status. We never got updates & they pulled machines out without advising us. Since that time we had difficulty getting calls and emails returned about status and a firm estimate in print. We have dealt with Service Master and Taylor in the past but the poor level of customer service from TCM was something new. They finally gave us several different estimates that kept changing, we rented our own dehumidifier to put down there due to moisture levels, repaired holes in the vapor barrier they made, and went about trying to cancel our insurance claim that TCM advised us to file only to find out that State Farm doesn't cover mold which according to their estimate was a large part of the bill. We never had any mold form and finally got the moisture down to an acceptable level. We made numerous attempts to contact TCM to discuss bill but could never get a response. They submitted a bill for the dehumidifiers that we finally paid because we where concerned about our credit getting dinged if we didn't & were never able to get through to their GM to discuss. Recommend you look elsewhere for help in this area - maybe they're better at cleaning carpets but they have some of the worst customer service every had in 30+ years in the rental business. AVOID !! Don't trust this company with your largest investment. read more

Excellent. Skillful at their work, equipped to get the job done right and professional in all the business and service details that made us glad we called them. We had a water leak at our home while we both were out of town. The home security service notified us when a motion detector was activated - by a section of downstairs ceiling that caved in from the water. After the police, plumber were done, TCM Restoration got in to remove, salvage and dry things out. All that happened on day one. By the time I got home on day three, blowers, condensers, temporary ductwork were all at work. Bottom line? No mold and no structural damage to the house. Much more to do yet, and TCM will be involved. My wife and I would not hesitate to call them again, or to enthusiastically recommend them to our best friends.
