As a highly experienced print designer, I cannot recommend this printing house. My point of contact…read morewith Copywell was a woman named Shikha, and her email responses were ritualistically late. It typically took days before receiving a reply. Not only that, but Copywell literally refused to add additional BLANK pages to my client's document, nor would they add additional BLANK space to the artwork bleed, which had an entirely blank margin. Such incompetence has been delaying my client's schedule. It's as if their staff was unfamiliar with the basics of impositioning. I've never had this trouble with any printing house I've worked with. I even offered to send them the original InDesign files so they could make any necessary adjustments to meet their machine's specifications. Shikha refused the files, and continued to request entirely blank pages. The low-level of professionalism has been surprising, especially when my client is choosing to pay them several thousand dollars instead of using Amazon or IngramSpark for a fraction of the cost. For an industry that's going extinct, I expect far greater customer service, and my client deserves better.

Avi came to my workplace to meet with my manager to follow up on a quote that we received a couple…read moremonths back. He came unannounced and without an appointment. My manager is a busy man and is on the road quite often so obviously he wasn't here. A considerate person would call in advance to made an appointment. When I told Avi that my manager is not in the shop very often and it's better to call him on his cell as he's on the road a lot, he spoke to me very condescendingly and asked if my manager never comes to the company, to which I replied that he does but leaves by 10:30am. He proceeds to very rudely tell me that I can tell my manager that he (Avi) stopped by to look for him. I understand that it can be frustrating to follow up with prospective client who is hard to reach but there was no need to be rude and condescending to others. One of my company's owners was in her room and overheard the conversation and it has left a very bad impression. The reviews to this company are top notch and pictures of completed works no doubt show that Sign Source is very good at what they do, but the poor attitude is just so off-putting and uncalled for.
