It's pretty good! I got lychee, green tea, lychee jelly and strawberry bits. HOWEVER...the green tea was too strong. It was stronger than all the bobas with green tea I drank. Each sip was either ok or was really bitter to the point it's like the bitterness of medicine. I don't know if I want to come back, no one likes bitter boba. My friend also got the same thing as me and has the same feelings. She even stopped drinking and went "It's too bitter, I think I wanna stop drinking this." Yeah...it's terrible but everything else is good. Wish there was an option to choose the strength or amount of green tea, I don't like it strong. 8/29/21 - they finally changed their cups to the corgis w/ balloons w/ the orange cap. It took awhile for them to change from the green koala cups. As an avid collector of their cups, I already got the space corgis with the blue cap, their koalas w/ the green cap, 10th anniversary cup, and many others. I just wish they would bring back some of the porcupines and foxes from the fall 2017 collection. My mom really wants the crane and bunnies w/ the pink caps design brought back. We've been waiting for awhile for the change in cup designs. Here's to hoping someone from their team reads this review and realizes someone is paying attention and literally obsessing over their cups. I know dogs, especially corgis, are a huge theme of their cups, but I'd love to see a mermaid or geometric animals or an astrology/galaxy design (without corgis). If not, pick a drink off the "Top 10" list off the wall and go with it. Ordered two drinks and they were thirst quenching. The drinks were served in reusable bottles with lids, which were neat. The Vanessa, strawberry with peach flavor and fruit bits were refreshing. The yummy peachee lychee, peach and lychee flavor with lychee jelly and fruit bits was my favorite. The teas were great. The good: The jar/cups here are super adorable and reusable. They are tall and have fun cartoons on it (mine had koala bears). I ordered thru GrubHub and was happy they delivered. Their menu features a lot of caffeine-free options (great for those, like myself, trying to avoid caffeine). I got the chrysanthemum tea and was able to ask for zero sugar despite their online menu only having the option to click (100% or 50%). What I loved most about my drink, outside of being able to adjust the sugar to zero, was that they put the actual chrysanthemum flowers inside the cup. They have a lot of unique drink options and smoothies. They sell snack foods as well like popcorn chicken. The bad: The straws are a little too tall so when you try to close the cap on top of the straw it wont fully close. This may lead to leaks. Tea Brick is one of the OG boba places that was around when the whole boba craze started in the SGV, and even 10 years later, their original handcrafted drinks with cool names stand out among the many other local boba shops. Their reusable cups with cute corgi designs is what truly makes them unique. The designs regularly rotate throughout the year and are each very collectible (spoiler: I have a drawer of them at home) There's parking in the the back lot, but be aware that it can be a little tight on space and can be packed during the evening/weekend hours. The inside is well lit, with paintings of corgis on the wall as well as their top 10 drink options. What used to be sitting space is now spacious standing-only room. The workers there are nice and friendly, and won't hesitate to help you make choices or customizations if you request for them. For food and drink choices, they have a good selection to choose from. Their snack options are not much, with standard boba shop fare like brick toast and popcorn chicken available. What makes Tea Brick stand out is their varied drinks options, and there is A LOT to choose from. Going through the menu will take time, with drinks from soda bombs to milkshakes and milk teas available. I got Love at First Sight, a drink that has come to define Tea Brick for me as one of their original drinks since the beginning. It's an iced mango and passionfruit tea with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and mango bits. The tropical passionfruit taste shines throughout, and the vanilla ice cream adds a subtle milky sweetness to it. The mango bits are a little tart and crunchy. Mix it all together, and it's a creamy tea that's light and refreshing without being too overpowering on any one ingredient. I'm not sure how to feel about service. They are hardly there. There is a little kiosk that lets you order your drinks, and you don't have to interact with any of the staff members. I stopped going to the kiosk because if you have a five star account you can accumulate points for a free drink, but that's only if you aren't in a hurry and are willing to wait for someone to come and take your order. I love getting their teas as a slushie, I only order their fruit teas because they don't offer lactose free milk. They do have almond milk but I'm not certain which ones you can or cannot substitute. But I like to stick with the slushies they are refreshing during the summer. In the rainy season, I like getting the fruit teas hot. The real star of the show is their brick toast. They are absolutely delicious!! The condensed milk is a classic, light, and feels fresh. It comes with vanilla ice cream and fruit. Their chocolate Nutella is rich and sweet. It comes with vanilla ice cream and fruit as well. Their matcha flavor comes with matcha ice cream, fruit, and is dusted with matcha powder. I don't recommend it if you don't like matcha. read more

The reusable bottles (designs change often) are honestly what attracted me but the shop itself is sooo cute I love how it gives such homey-early-626 vibes with that red brick wall theme and board games I have not tried any of the milk tea drinks but I'll be back. It was pretty dim inside with minimal decor. The tables were sticky and dirty, and I even found a fake eyelash on one. On the bright side, I guess that means that the ABGs approve of this boba place. I ordered the Yummee Peachee Lychee with boba. Honestly I thought the price wasn't too bad and the $0.40 upgrade to get the reusable cup was totally worth it. The service was just okay because the woman who took my order wasn't very friendly. I really enjoyed the tea itself. I forgot to modify the sweetness to be less, but I found that 100% wasn't bad at all. While I enjoyed the chunks of fresh fruit in the bottom of the drink, they were cut into pieces that were too large, so they kept getting stuck in my straw. The boba itself had a good consistency, but it was a bit flavorless. I would have preferred if it had more sweetness to it. I don't think this a good place to hang out and meet with friends just because the interior was not very clean. However, I would consider coming back to get some tea to-go and to get my hands on more of the corgi cups! read more

I found this place because of a friend that used to work over there. I remember when it was my first time that I had him recommend something for me. I wanted something fruity - not so much creamy, so he had me order the "Christine Green Tea." The Christine Green Tea had bits of fruit in it. I dont remember all the fruits in it, but i do remember some watermelon out of the bunch, and it actually tasted really good. With or without boba (or tapioca) it still tastes really good. I like the Jelly add-on, i actually add that most of the time now - that and or the eggnog pudding. There is a neutral gender restroom inside, but you will need to ask for the key from the cashier. Parking may look tight from above, but there is also a lot of parking underground. If youre in a rush, you can also call-in your order, and just pay for it when you arrive. Its a chill spot with Wi-Fi and ample seating. Have fun! read more

But a serious concern, and I really hope the shop is reading this. The size of your boba is too large for your straw. What that does is forces the boba into the straw blocking the beverage from coming up the straw. This can really cause someone to choke on the boba! This can also spill the beverage on clothing. All in all, this was a big inconvenience and because of this probably will not return to Tea Brick. It should not be this hard to sip Thai ice tea from a straw. For some reason, when Covid happened, we cut a lot of non-essentials out of our lives. Of course, boba milk tea drinks are an essential, so we still frequent Tea Brick! The drinks are as good as ever. Whether I'm in the mood for some strong, classic milk tea, or some delicious fruity teas, Tea Brick always hits the spot. I love how their tea is always strong, and the bottles are big. I think it measured a little over 21 ounces. The cute drawings on the cups don't hurt. I reuse the bottles as water bottles when I work out, or back when I used to have to go to work. My kids are allergic to dairy, but they love the fruity teas. My daughter would probably drink the entire thing if I let her! She loves the green tea with strawberry and mango. I ordered the Roasted Oolong Milk Tea with Boba (less ice and 75% sweetness) while my friend got the Hokkaido Milk Tea with the same ice and sweetness. While theirs had a lovely Hokkaido flavor and well cooked boba, mine tasted heavily diluted and my pearls were almost considered uncooked in the center. Tastes like caramel blended with milk, as expected. Comes with honey boba, but the boba isn't even good. I would rather drink it without any toppings. The good thing is that they don't fill up the cups with a bunch of ice. There is a good ratio of the tea, ice, and toppings. Plus they also provide bags to carry the drinks. While I was grabbing my drink from this establishment several days ago, I asked if they had any special offers and they weren't offering any at the moment. They currently don't have happy hour. They also do not allow pets in their establishment. Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is behind the building. It's really small, so you might have to park on the street. The spaces are a bit small too. Drink: I ordered a Thai tea with boba. It was way to sweet for me, so I unfortunately didn't finish it. It was my fault though. I completely forgot to tell the person taking my order to make it less sweet. But the Thai tea was good nevertheless. The boba were very soft and easy to chew on. I do like this boba place! It's a bit pricey but so far the teas I've tried have tasted really great and the reusable containers they put the drinks in are SUPER cute. The first time I tried this place, my drink was in a container with corgis printed on it. The second time there were shiba inus printed on it. The containers are made of plastic so it's not a good idea to put hot water in them. My friend tried it and her container melted. So far, the ones I've tried have been Love at First Sight and their limited edition Cheesecake milk tea. The Love at First Sight drink is super popular and I can see why if you're going for a refreshing drink. It's fruity and not too sweet. I really like the vanilla ice cream in it too. The cheesecake milk tea was also really great! It was definitely sweeter than the Love at First Sight but not overwhelmingly sweet. I'm not sure if it'll be a regular item but it's worth a try if you happen to be around the area and want some boba. It's usually street parking around the area but I've never had much trouble finding parking. While this place is a great place to chill and hang, it's not really a great place to study at since there's not that many plug outlets and it is pretty noisy inside. The reusable cups is a nice idea for the environment, but they are so flimsy that they're not very good containers and your straw will just swim around the wide open mouth.
