I had anxiety about driving before and didn't want to take drivers ed or take my test, but having instructors who were relaxed, helped me to relax, stay focused, and allowed for me to enjoy driving. I definitely would recommend!

What a great experience! As an adult, you think you know all the rules of the road and how to…read morehandle situations, like a blown tire, but you really don't know it all or all the laws. You need a driving school that prepares your child for a lifetime of safe driving habits. There is way more to teaching a teen to drive than just driving around with them. Our son started in the simulators, learning the basics and rules of the road. Then he took that knowledge with him as he learned to drive with us. He did 20 hours in between his 2-hour driving lessons with a coach on the road (five lessons total), and they gave valuable feedback after every drive. DrivingMBA recommends 100 hours to complete the program, which is far more than the state's very dismal limit of just 30 hours over 6 months on a permit. It's not always easy to get in the hours, but the practice makes all the difference. (P.S. Google what the state requirement is for a driver's permit and driving hours in other states.) Experience matters, especially when driving on some of these Valley streets and freeways! The distracted-driving simulator sessions (3) were among the best parts of the training. Our son said he learned so much from seeing and feeling what it would be like on the road, including driving while texting, tire blowouts, speeding, red-light runners, etc. You want your kid to learn this stuff and be aware of it in a simulator, vs in a real-life scenario. No other driving school does this, and it is key to helping your teen truly grasp the importance of road safety. We are thankful for this fantastic business in our son's journey to adulthood. Worth every penny! You can't put a price on your child's safety. My biggest piece of advice is to book your sessions as soon as you can. They book up quickly.

My husband and I both have large trucks and my teenager really didn't feel comfortable driving either when he first received his permit. I found the package that would best fit our needs on the website. Ten hours in car driving with them administering the DMV road test with the last lesson. After paying for the lessons they send the recipient an online gift certificate. Booking online was a breeze. Photos and times available for each instructor easy to maneuver. After three lessons the instructor did state my son needed some more in car driving practice prior to booking his last lesson / road test. After each lesson the instructor emails a report on what needs to be worked on before the next lesson. Both instructors my son had showed up on time and were personable and answered our questions. So easy having them pickup at my home. Pricing competitive to others, but priceless in my book. Driving with these men gave my son the confidence he needed behind the wheel. Totally recommend and we didn't have to stand in line at DMV.

Since I was a loyal customer, and my daughter still needed a lot of work behind the wheel, I asked if we could have a small discount on our next hourly session. To my surprise, they said no. I took my business elsewhere and within 3 hours my daughter finally understood how the traffic lights in Arizona typically flow and how to turn left on a flashing yellow. NControl isn't bad. But if you're wanting the best, this isn't it.

NControl Driving School was excellent for my teenage driver…read more I was referred to NControl by friends and co-workers who used them for their teenagers and had nothing but great things to say. I loved Nikki in the office. She was my first impression to NControl and she is AWESOME! She was very informative and could relate to a new teenage driver being on the road. Nikki got my teenager enrolled and we were off and driving pretty quick. We were able to schedule our lessons ahead of time so long as my driver was doing his "homework" between lessons. The driving sessions are 2 hours long, which is (was) long for a teenager, but we built up to those with several 60-90 minute sessions at home. The skid pad day was fun as it actually rained for a little bit giving the drivers some wet conditions. All of the instructors were very patient and professional, but I have to say Chuck was the favorite as my son had him twice for lessons. If you are in the east valley and need a great driving school, NControl is a no brainer!
