The service was really hit or miss. The first time I used them, (which I paid a lot) I had a warranty and someone was able to come and check periodically but nobody ever did. I understand staff changes but I didn't have time or energy to micromanage that process and as a result I had to pay more to use them due to rats returning, it didn't seem to have fixed the problem since I'm having an issue again. The second time I used them, they were more diligent with the scheduling but I still had to remind them at least once to refill the bait boxes or check on them. I have been using Team Champion for years for termite control & I have no plan on stopping . So when I seen that I signs of a mouse in the house, I immediately called them. The customer service was amazing, They came right out , literally the next day to inspect & I WAS VERY PLEASED .. I got quoted for the service that was needed , agreed and the guy was able to come the very next day to service me . THE SERVICE: Basically patching up entry ways and setting traps in the attic & garage . THE PRICE: $1800 I know that was ALOT . And once i seen the process i felt played . The guy who came out used Gaps & cracks to seal cracks. YES THE $5 can that was at home depot . The patch work and the service was definitely not worth the price. I was disappointed in the fact that I had to request something more on the lines of cement. For $1800.. top of line the products and procedures should be in place. The ONLY PRO: is the one year warranty. MY ADVICE: call any pest control company , get the free estimate, have a handy man patch you up. & If you're not brave enough, MAYBE call them to set up the traps and poison . MAYBE ... Im sticking beside them for termite control . But this was a veeeery expensive lesson that i hope nobody else has to learn. Jazmine T's response is spot on! Manuel came to do an inspection for my house and quoted me $1800 to seal up 3 small holes/entry points where rodents can get in to the house. I told him that was ridiculously priced. Prior to him quoting me $1800, he laid two rat traps and proceeded to tell me it was going to cost me $375 to lay two rat traps. I told him to take his rat traps and leave because I wasn't willing to pay $375 for two rat traps. Beware folks, they are swindlers! read more

The good: We got a quote from another termite company that was over $500 more so we ended up choosing TCE. We were referred to them by the previous owners of the home we were buying. I was happy with the service and was able to get the process done quickly and without my actual presence. The bad: It sucks that we had termites to begin with! We couldn't enter the home for 3 days after fumigation (standard, but inconvenient). The interesting: I was mortified at first when I found out we needed to fumigate our house because of termites but my realtor reasured me that this is pretty standard for all California homes given the environment we're in and the age of average homes here. read more

David was truly concerned that the work done so far had not resolved our rodent problem. He asked about my experience with his company, what had been done, and what might have been missed. Based on our conversation, David will be conducting a follow-up visit this week to see what else can or needs to be done to eliminate rodent activity once and for all. As mentioned before, I can't fault Team Champion for their customer service which is excellent. David's call was another example of that service. I should have done my due diligence when hiring them. We noticed some movement and sounds in our attic and only assumed it was rats. Team champion was the quickest to come out to us and within days they did some patch work and set some traps up in our attic and garage. He said he's come out 2 times to inspect and collect any rats that were trapped. After a few days we heard one get caught. We called the guy for two days to come collect the rats and he finally showed up to do so. After that he said he'd come by to set more traps a few days later. It's been 3 weeks and nothing has happened. I texted him to ask about it and no response. Totally ghosted us. I understand people get busy and they have other customers but a bit of communication goes a long way. If you're looking for a company that will follow through on their word and have communication throughout the process then DO NOT hire this company. We have moved on to another company to help us out with our situation. read more

I noticed our earwig problem began to get progressively worse last week after moving into our new home in January. The earwigs started showing up one or two at a time by the front door or patio door. Fine, I can deal with that. However, when I found a group of them huddled behind my dogs' food and water bowl, that was the last straw. It was horrendous seeing these earwigs essentially invade my home and dogs' eating area. I called several exterminating companies for quotes. Team Champion was by far the friendliest and most reasonably priced. I had them come out 8 days ago to spray the outside of our home and that same day noticed at least 20 earwigs dead on the floor or slowly crawling up the walls, ending in their demise. I didn't want to write this review until I had a better assessment of the results, and I am so happy to report that our issue is completely managed and I haven't seen one earwig inside our home for over a week. Update - We recently saw some new evidence of termites in a new location. There's no external evidence, so I don't fault the inspector for missing this. There as no way he could have know. The reason for the drop in rating is the ability to get in touch with them for a new inspection and further treatment. I've called and left voicemails, I've emailed, I've texted, and I have not received a reply. Other than finding their office and standing on their desk, I don't know what else to do to get in touch with them. This is a long overdue review for Team Champion. I think it is extremely difficult to find a company that you trust for home repairs and/or inspections. Even though I always try to do my due diligence when it comes to finding an inspector by asking friends for recommendations, reading reviews, checking the negative comments, etc., I have been burned by a few termite companies who missed something or asked me for my first born to fix/prevent termite damage. There are countless companies on yelp and other websites that tout that they are the best, trustworthy, and competitive. Let me tell you, Team Champion should be at the top of your list of termite companies to use. I have had them inspect all my properties and they have always had competitive prices & thorough inspections. My inspector, Jimmy, has also gone out of his way to make sure to explain any part of the termite inspection/report I didn't understand and point out his findings. Came out set cages to trap possums I had seen going in my crawl space, got 1 and left with cage. Left bait can top in the yard where trap was. Called them days later cause I heard noise under my house informed them that once they closed the entry points they must have trapped one under there, after days of waiting due to excuses about sickness, etc came back said they found nothing, kept hearing noise and kept telling them! Then noise stopped, and called them cause I smelled something hideous in my house, they said they came found nothing even though I sent the guys they sent Manuel Vasquez, a picture of the rodent still alive days before trapped. Had to hire another company to come get the dead possum from under my house! He also talked me into an attic treatment "under his company" cause this was his friend's company" said we were good and treated with nothing found, and I'm hearing animals in my walls. Very professional and easy to work with for termite extermination services. Albert came by for a consultation within a couple days of contact, explained the process, provided a fair quote, and took measurements of spaces to be treated. He seemed surprised at the amount of damage, but was very patient and not judgmental when explaining options and the timeline of work. Frances was helpful with paperwork, quick response to questions, and flexible payment options. They accept check, credit card, and Zelle for the deposit and the bill after work is completed. We paid with check, then Zelle over multiple days (due to daily limit). I was going to pay by check both times, but they packed up the fumigation tent quickly in the morning before I arrived. My advice would be to catch them before they leave, but luckily Zelle payment was an option. For documentation purposes, I appreciate the warranty and bill receipts being promptly sent by email. The team of workers for both subterranean and fumigation projects worked quickly and thoroughly. They also explained kindly for any questions we had and gave safety tips. Bonus: Albert and team were very respectful and wore masks to help us protect an immunocompromised family member. Thank you! So I took a chance on this company. I made the right call. Here's why 1. Affordability. We went on a subscription plan...which I despise most pest plans, but it was pretty dang affordable. We jumped on it right away 2. Service. They are thorough. Dewebbing, spraying, type of sprays used, etc. I had an infestation. They sprayed but we still had some after two weeks. They came back out to fulfill their guarantee and they nuked the whole house. Glad to say that no living thing will survive that. Albert came out. Saw the problem. Honestly can't beat Team Champions service and price. I was looking around the area and had some inspectors telling me "cheaper is low quality" but aside from being affordable, Jesus my exterminator has been back at my house twice to check the traps and to repair new holes that he's found. It's definitely uneasy for most people to think they have a rodent in their house but it's a reality. Team Champion offers a one year warranty so if you continue to hear anything they'll come back at their earliest availability to make sure you're swept. Albert came early to inspect our garage door that had winged termites crawling out of it-creepy! He was able to identify the type, subterranean, and had a solution for it. He also inspected the attic and kitchen sink and saw some evidence of termites there and our wooden fence had dry wood termite damage. He bundled that treatment in with the other one and the total was $800. Since the perimeter of our home was concrete and artificial turf, they had to drill holes into the concrete, they did cover it up afterwards. As for the turf my husband had to pull it up for them. They came on time to the appointment to inject and spray the chemicals and was done in about 2 hours. Very professional and nice. Highly recommended! read more

Very unsatisfied with the service received from Team Champion Exterminators. Beginning of August I signed up for the yearly plan as I figured it would be worth it to live worry/pest free and since they offer a discounted rate with the yearly plan. All seemed well at first the scheduling was simple enough, communication was good, and they even followed all of our requests (shoe covers or no shoes inside home). The problems arose because the next day we began to see ants again. I emailed and was told to allow 10 days for chemical to be completely effective. Two weeks later and I was noticing ants inside the home the same, if not worse than before. Since then it's been a constant run around and as of today, September 28th, I have more ants in my home than ever and no one has come out since the first service performed on August 4th; not even for the monthly extermination that should've happened by now. I'm now stuck with paying the more expensive first time fee again, in order to have another exterminator come out and do the job correctly. This has been a nightmare and I'd suggest everyone to save your money and time and go someplace else. read more

I was not pleased with the service overall. The gentleman who came to give me an estimate on rodent control/removal acted desperate as if he really, really needed this job. He did not respect my wishes to not call me because I was upfront and told him that I am getting other estimates as well as his and I would call back if I decided to go with his/their estimate. So, he ignored that and called me again. The points of entry (of the rodents) were supposed to be explored and guaranteed to be fixed/addressed. Part of the service was to include initial traps being set up, which they did, however, the main entry point was Not fixed at all. The initial person who gave the estimate ( I believe the name was Manuel) did Not show up to do the work but instead sent someone who did Not speak one word of English, so we weren't able to communicate and although I pointed out the main entry point, the guy did Not fix it and it remains unfixed. I sent texts, and pictures to show unfinished work but received no reply. I called several times to try to rectify situation and possibly get a partial refund ( not even half but much less than half) so that I could hire someone to finish/fix what they were unable to do. All of my calls/messages were ignored. Also, initially, they were supposed to contact me to schedule a time to check the traps that they set but they did not contact me. I had to reach out to them. (Also, the guy that was sent to do the work, whom I was unable to communicate with) had no idea where to set the traps inside! I assumed that he would know the best place to set them based upon where the 'droppings' were found in the house yet he didn't know and asked me. I was very displeased with the service and more than likely because of the 'disrespect' of ignoring all of my calls/messages trying to recordings. read more
