He even went on to express how, "If a client doesn't like the haircuts he gives them, it's just not for them.." etc. As a professional hairdresser, you should always please and leave your customers satisfied. It isn't your hair to pick and choose what you want to give to your clients.

This place is very gezellig -- part record store, part hair salon. The staff here are fully English-speaking and if you're lucky, both of you will be singing along to the wicked tunes playing in the background. They're also young but that's not to say they're not experienced. They're actually very professional and will do what you ask if you're very particular about your hair. If you are feeling lucky and ask for their opinion, they will style your hair in a way that suits your face and head. Located in the nice Jordaan district, the shop run by a hairstyling duo is surprisingly more affordable than other neighborhood establishments. This does not absolutely mean that the quality is any worse, though. I don't get a very short haircut, which is why I enjoy the minimum possible use of electrical 'shearing' implements. The nice folks at Manous make sure I get the best possible cut even if it takes a very long time. I love my haircut here. Being so good at their work, the place is very often busy. I was able to walk here from my hotel and it was relatively easy to find. It's on a beautiful, "boutiquey" street, so you're going into very charming neighborhood. I got a men's buzz cut for twenty euros (which might be a little steep for a buzz cut, but it looks like that's typical pricing around Amsterdam as opposed to what I'm use to paying in the U.S., which is around $10). But I felt like it was worth it. I got the job done and it was easy and enjoyable.
