There is also a nice toddler corner for children from 0-3 and nice screen TVs for the kids to watch paw patrol etc. The ball pit is also a really cute addition! Tucked away in the corner is a toilet facility which is great because it means you don't have to run across the whole place (it's huge!) to get a nappy change in. Will be back again!

Great electric go karts giving a less noisy and cleaner environment. Not a great speed from them but enough on the overly glossed track They did screw up on our second race and omitted me from the results, I was told I hadn't been assigned to a kart even though I had gotten in to the same kart that I used first race I'll be honest this did ruin my experience at this point as it was a team night out and we were racing for the bragging rights The manager was apologetic and offered a re race for myself which I decline, so they got us all a drink instead Which gave us the opportunity to see their bar/restaurant, quite a cool venue, again not what you expect from outside. Laser tag was a bit manic with 20 of us running around shooting at each other, decent sized maze with a castle strong hold at one end (top tip.... Wait till the opposite team stays in the castle part thinking they are cool being all team handed and protected on all sides..... Then lob in a Grenade) I cheered up when my team won and I got top score out he 20 players ..... Grenades certainly helps haha It's definitely a decent place for friends and work nights out.

Let me preface this review with the disclaimer that I have never before driven any vehicle other…read morethan a bumper car, so I had no idea what to expect when father dearest suggested that we (he, my sister, mum and I) go go-karting as a family (read battle to the death). Cambuslang Karting is an outdoor track, a little bit out of the way for most denizens of Glasgow. It's not too far from Cambuslang train station, so it can be reached easily enough by public transport, and the big canvas sign makes it easy to spot when you get there. The sessions are in 10 minute blocks, charging at £15 for the first 10 minutes and £10 for each additional 10 minutes. There are also big deals for a Grand Prix or Endurance event, apparently popular with stag parties and corporate events (I can see why!). Following a quick flags and safety presentation, there was much hilarity in getting the right size of overalls - they go up proportionately, so to wear one that fit me across yon bust, I ended up a bit penguin-legged! A good hoik up, and a bit of folding jiggery pokery, and all was well. Balaclavas and helmets and gloves, oh my! All very formula 1! By the time I was all dressed, I felt ready to tear up the track. At first, I was nervous... Then I was going at full speed around the track, cackling like a woman possessed, cursing those who tarried in my path! Mwahahaha! Sadly, my poor wee mammy was too nervous and kept getting stuck at the sides. She was too busy worrying about what everyone else was doing, and only managed two and a half laps the entire session. Bless. :) Father, sister and I, however, were having a race amidst another family of go-karters who obviously go often. The staff print out your lap times at the end of each session, so you can see who was the fastest, and how much faster you had to be to beat someone the next time round. So much fun!!! I was a second slower than my dad, an experienced driver, so I was pleased with my epic performance. It's a pricey hobby, just something you'd do once in a while, but when you start laughing maniacally as you belt up the track, you just know you'll be back for more.

In my local play area I can sit and have a cuppa and not worry about him, here I felt a need to have him chipped or tagged so I could find him in the wilderness. Lots to do, for kids of all ages. Cafe part was only used for drinks and a tray bake but it was reasonably priced and tasty. Baby changing area was decent enough too. Great for a wet afternoon, but when it's busy you need a lead for your kid

There seem to be load of soft play places around Glasgow these days, but variety is always good…read more With it being kids' birthday party season this is the third one I've been to in as many weeks, I think. First off, it's huge - an old industrial unit. The ceiling may as well be the sky. Space is very well used with a couple of activities I've not seen in other play places - such as the stretched fabric space tent climbing activity. You have to see it to understand! The soft play area is a large U-shape surrounding an event area and small go-kart track, with one section set aside for the much smaller / toddler age range. Wall paintings are *staggering* and enormous. The decor goes all around the building, including the toilets (which are kept fairly clean - and it's good to see two baby-change units in the gent's loo). Party staff were great, very engaging and listened to the birthday boy's wishes and his cake was wheeled out by Woody from toy Story! Other staff were friendly and wandering around keeping an eye on things in general. Food prices are the usual escalated range you expect from these places - an adult burger with chips is around £7 and a kid's meal with a drink £4.25. Overall, impressed. If you're sitting in a seat waiting while the young ones work up a sweat, take a jumper. Especially first thing on a cold morning, it can get a little chilly.
