Good customer service and great location due to the popular stores in the plaza making it convenient and seen. We ordered: 1) Creamy Jasmine Tea- tea was made in house, not powder with 75% sugar level, and added-on boba that were soft and chewy, but was $1 upcharge (a bit steep). Tea was good. 2) Ube Vietnamese Coffee- ube cream was lightly flavored and airy, when mixed in with the coffee, I barely taste the difference but it's a nice appeal. The coffee was strong, not overly sweet and made just right. There aren't many or good drink places in Broward county especially around Deerfield Beach/Coconut Creek area but I'm satisfied that this chain made its way to SoFlo. Absolutely recommend! read more

I have now been here twice. Both times customer service has been great. The place looks nice and clean. The first time I got the matcha Royale, I added Boba to it. They have, honey Boba, which has a bit of a different taste to it. The drink was good. I would try it again. The second time I got the Matcha serenade I didn't like the texture of the strawberries in this one. They were slimy and stringy it threw the whole drink off. I would never get that one again. A cute little place with many different drink options and super yummy desserts! I stopped into Teaspoon since it was next to a Thai place I had been wanting to try. The menu offers milk teas, caffeine drinks and they do many custom ideas as well. I went with the taro milk tea and brown sugar boba. It is packaged in a beautiful cup and sealed lid perfect for traveling with when I had to run back to work. Love that Teaspoon is located in the Hillsboro shopping plaza. I order the Grasshopper with 10% sweetness and light ice because I don't like my drinks too sweet or watered down. The Grasshopper is Lychee green tea topped w/ fresh cucumber juice. I also like to add lychee jelly to mine because it's fun to drink with it and it tastes great. We had driven by and we didn't even see this place so we were able to just turn around and run on in. We were excited to try some new tea. We got the black sugar assam tea, this tea is very different from your normal black sugar tea . The tea is very pungent and fragrant with lack of sugar and sweetness, even though they marketed as a black sugar tea. All I could taste was tea and milk, no sugar whatsoever. We also got the mango silk, which ended up being very sweet and delicious. I would get that again. Unfortunately, the black tea was not to my liking, I asked if they could make me something else so that I could try to base my opinion of the company better. I asked for a tea and they were very nice about changing the order. The tea was very nice. It also lacked sugar compared to your normal Thai restaurant. I've been to this place 3 times and every time the drink is not cold enough. I think they put hot tea onto ice, so then the ice melts immediately and the drink is just room temperature. The boba texture was fine, but the drinks just didn't hit right. Went I get boba it is usually on a hot day and I want something to cool me down and this just didn't do that. I think one could order with extra ice and that might help but it also might water down your drink. I don't think I'll be back. read more

This Teaspoon location opened in the Shoppes at Deerfield on Hillsboro Blvd two months ago. It is a few doors down from the former movie theater. The inside is sweetly decorated with a floral mural and plenty of seating. The menu is divided into seasonal, signature, and classic drinks. They also sell bakery items and brand merchandise. Everyone who was working went out of their way to provide friendly service. I chose the signature Lychee on Lychee, a lychee black tea with lychee jelly and added popping lychee boba. A lot of care was taken when preparing my drink and it was the perfect amount of sweetness and ice. It was refreshing and delicious to the last drop. I really loved how many options you have to customize your drink and they have so many unique flavors of jelly and popping boba. For instance I saw rainbow jelly, strawberry heart jelly, coffee jelly, and cranberry popping boba. They even have something called grass jelly. Finally got a chance to pick this place out. It's in a really large shopping plaza in Deerfield. Place is really cool looking, really clean and sells some cute merch of the place. The drink menu was extensive, I was overwhelmed with it. I ended up getting a taro milk tea with taro chunks. Unfortunately it was really disappointing, it was too sweet, they didn't ask for sugar levels when they were making it like traditional boba shops, and the taro "chunks" if you can call it that were about a teaspoon at most. We opted out of the honey boba and upgraded for brown sugar boba as thats what I prefer. However it's not just regular brown sugar boba they also mix it with crystal boba which I do not like so that was disappointing since of the texture difference. While driving on 95, my friend mentioned that she was craving Boba, and after a quick search, we found Teaspoon. We checked out their website first and then decided to go. I forgot to tell them to make the boba tea with a lower sugar percentage, but it was perfect the way it came. The blueberry donut wa for me and it was so full of a natural tasting blueberry flavor. If anything, I think that there was too much icing on it, but as a whole, I really liked it. The Sakura donut was given to another friend and she said that was only vanilla flavored, but still really good! I've been on my boba coffee spree lately and recently found Teaspoon one weekend. I think they are Cali based but as soon as I walked in I quickly noticed their espresso machines which I REALLY appreciate when getting coffee based boba. I got their Golden Brew and you have the option of adding boba or jellies so I added brown sugar boba and I don't really like my coffee sweet so their "less sweet" option on their app is amazing. I've only tried their matcha drinks but maybe the fruity drinks would be better. The matcha was not a vibrant green color and was syrup-py and the taste was off from true ceremonial matcha. Delicious!!! The only negative thing I have to say is they weren't open when I used to lived 5 min away but this is worth the drive to come back. Fresh boba with great flavor and slight chewiness (not overcooked). I got a lemonade with a passionfruit splash and finally a drink where you can taste the passionfruit and not a watered down syrup like other places . Fortunately for me (and not so fortunate for my wallet), Teaspoon is so lovely. The service is wonderful, everyone is very patient and kind. The inside is beautiful and they have a very large light up menu which is great because I can see the options right there. It's also a very pretty set up with decor that feels warm. Lastly the boba-- I've tried the caramel milk, the silky strawberry, the golden brew and the taro. The taro lover wasn't really for me personally-- if you're not used to taro chunks, you might not enjoy it, but if you love taro then give it a shot! My favorite was the caramel milk and the silky strawberry. I've also sampled the house milk tea and that was REALLY good. Their teas aren't super sweet-- they're definitely sweet and you can sweeten them, but I found the levels to be really good. They have oat milk options which is pretty nice and I love their coffee jelly and their honey boba. Lastly, the coffee is ok; I think they have much better tea options. read more
