Valencia Community College is a great institution. They have continued to progress and grow…read moresuccessfully. They started off as a two-year degree institution and now they have developed bachelors programs and have a program called "Direct Connect" where if you go into a degree that you can start, but not finish in Valencia, you can continue in UCF and you have a guarantee admission to UCF. It also means you get preference as a future admission in UCF if you want to go into a graduate program. With Direct Connect you can also enroll in UCF, but take classes in Valencia, if transportation or location is an issue for you; and these courses count as UCF credits. Finally, not only do they continue to grow and have 4 campuses between Osceola Campus and Orange County, with several attainable degrees, they also offer financial aid programs, scholarships and grants. Actually, they have around 25,000 students you get grants. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HY152HAuJFg) Finally, they offer online classes and have several programs to help students be able to succeed in the academia.

This is absolutely the worst campus out of all! Everyone is rude as hell! This campus is more for…read morestudents who just graduated from High School. So if you are not around that age group...I suggest you go somewhere else. They need to work on making the students feel more welcomed. The career center counselor is an A-hole and he will make you feel like you can't make it in life. He needs to work on how to talk to people. The cafeteria doesn't make your food with love. Plus some of the professors are not doing a good job on helping students learn. You will leave confused out of these classes. On the plus side the Library staff is great and the writing center. They will make sure to help you in whatever you need. This used to be such a great campus but now I am just never coming back for sure.

My experience with this daycare was deeply disappointing. While the facility is visually appealing…read moreand well-designed aesthetically, the level of professionalism and understanding of early childhood development did not meet expectations. My 3-year-old has been in daycare since he was 6 months old, and within only three weeks of attending My First Academy, he was expelled. Throughout the process, communication was extremely limited and relied almost entirely on an app rather than direct conversations with parents. In situations involving young children and behavioral concerns, personal communication is essential. What became most concerning to me was the apparent lack of willingness to understand or support a child's developmental and emotional needs. I requested collaboration with childcare professionals and even suggested having my child evaluated by a therapist because the behavior being described was unexpected and out of character. Instead of working together to identify solutions and support growth, the school chose removal. Early childhood education requires patience, communication, emotional intelligence, and partnership with parents. Children at this age are still learning how to regulate emotions and navigate social environments. Schools should be prepared to guide and support that development rather than quickly dismiss children who may need additional understanding. I truly believe this school has potential to positively serve the community, but that will require prioritizing child development and family partnership over policies and revenue. Technology and apps can be helpful tools for updates and follow-up, but they should never replace meaningful verbal communication between teachers and parents. Children benefit from seeing adults communicate respectfully and collaboratively on their behalf.

Please Read before considering this establishment: In just two weeks of my child attending several…read morerather disturbing situations occurred 1) On the first day of drop off we were told we can walk our 3 year old to her class for a comfortable hand off that morning the Director Noelia told us we were not allowed to enter after we expressed our concern she with an attitude and literally rolling her eyes allowed us to enter. That was our first red flag 2) On the first day I began to call at 12 pm to check on her only to be alarmed when they did not answer the phone imagine the horror not being able to contact the establishment that you have entrusted your precious child. I called 3 times from 12-2 pm when I arrived I immediately questioned the Director Noelia I was brushed off and told I didn't call because she had the phone in her back pocket I have attached a photo of my call log when I showed her she completely brushed me off no explanation or accountability 3) The next week we got a notification due to construction internet was down and cameras were not working we called frequently to check in on our daughter and we were giving an attitude as if our calls were a nuisance we gave feedback and a suggestion for upper management to have perhaps a back up internet so parents can have peace of mind and be able to view the child on camera. 4) we get a call the baby had a 102 fever When I called back to get an update as I was on my way I asked if any care measure were taken such as ice pack placed to control the temperature until I arrived they said no but agreed to do it after we spoke. When I accessed the camera my baby was sitting on the floor with no adult near her teacher on other side of room I can tell she was crying other children jumping all around her while she cried the ice pack laying by her side not being applied to her. I attached a photo of the suffocating hazard they had at her side which was a gallon bag with a sponge in it. All of this was on camera I have timestamp when I arrived with a normal tone I asked the Director if they had a wellness room to keep sick children so they are monitored until parent arrived she rudely said no we don't we did our job which was to call you and you have 45 minutes until we call DCF that is the protocol. I asked where was the compassion for my sick child she then told me if I didn't like it to discharge my child. I pay an astounding amount of money to this establishment so they can not have internet , not allow me to walk my child to class their first day , not answer the phone , leave a child with a fever with a plastic bag to put on her own head while other kids trample her to then get an attitude from the Director stating we are problematic and complain too much. Please look else where to a place that will treat your child with compassion and love.
