As a self-employed homeworking consultant, with little or no feel for IT but who needs all systems to be reliable 24/7 for my work, in a top-security field I need urgent assistance, instruction and upgrades for my computers, mobiles, etc, and Andrew has supplied solutions and good advice for my business which work extremely well. He is able to explain complex IT issues while having to endure my complaining about modern systems and the pace of change in them! with great patience and clarity. This is a vital skill for an IT service business as so many of them blind you with science or don't bother to explain anything. He has supplied services at a very reasonable rate and has found equipment which is affordable as well as being top of the range. He is also totally trustworthy and aware of the security issues in my work which is of great value. I absolutely urge people not to use this company, I gave them my less than a year old £1500 laptop just for a general clean up to remove some spyware but when it returned the laptop would not charge and the charger would not sit firmly in the socket, they agreed to repair this free of charge but not offer any discount on the original payment I had paid, I wish I had gone to another company and hope this review stops anyone from making the same mistake I did. I found the staff at their new shop in Portland Road a refreshing change. Not only were they able to sort my laptop quickly and efficiently but they installed software and showed me how to keep it running smoothly. I was so impressed at their open and friendly manner and willingness to help that I can see why I was recomended them in the first place. I am looking to replace my desktop PC and again Techulike have astounded me by quoting a better machine for less money than PC World were going to charge. Lifesaver Took my desktop computer in to Techulike thinking I had a virus problem as computer would only work in safety mode without switching itself off after 30 seconds! However Techulike realised it was a faulty heat sensor on the fan which only took a short while to mend. Good advice on a software problem my daughter also had with synching her mended IPhone with her desktop, problem solved. Helpful, friendly service. read more
