Three weeks later he called me to tell me they can't work on the car but he will give me an estimate what it needs and how much it will cost. When i came to pick up the car it was all dusty and the roof and trunk were covered in oil. He came out apologized and kinda wiped it then charged me $160 for an estimate that he did not have ready and told me that he will email it to me and I am still waiting on that email since 12/5/2023. He claimed that we were on a dirt road, while we were on a paved two-lane road. I even sent a photo of our vehicle on the paved road (below) and which route to take to stay on paved roads at all times (below), only for the driver to lie and claim that was the route he took. I can only assume that our insurance would pay them anyway if they claim we were on a dirt road, and that way he could get home sooner. If my 79yo FIL hadn't taken a 14h drive to bring us a spare wheel when these guys ditched us, we would have had to spend another night in the freezing cold without heat. Unbelievable. I found myself with a accident and required their services to get my vehicle towed since it was no longer drivable. They were very helpful with information for an alternate mode of transportation but none of them worked out unfortunately. I was able to retrieve some of my luggage and had a friend come get me. The next day, I did have to come back the next day to get the rest of my luggage. Monica was very helpful in allowing me access to the vehicle to retrieve my luggage.
