The Prime Rib was large and cooked/flavored to perfection & the BEST Prime Rib anywhere IMO, and I've had Prime Rib in multiple restaurants in some 10-15 other states. While existing we stopped to say to two Gentlemen sitting at the Bar. The cook yells out "YOU THREE, NO LOITERING, No Loitering, NO LOITERING" & pointing at us to leave. The Veal I got taste like it was starting to spoil. Bad and disappointing and we would leave hungry so many times. I don't know if these guys ever ate at a real Italian restaurant. The portions have more spaghetti, meat and sauce on their plates. I grew up in a big City around many Italians. My best friend was Italian most of my parents friends were all Italian and Really great Italian Restaurants all over. When Romas came to Aberdeen I was so excited but that soon turned to disappointment. We rarely go there anymore, just a once and awhile, if that. The people that run it aren't even Italian. Who knows, maybe they are better by now.

I didn't see any lobster. Hubby said it was good regardless. He also had a bowl of the Cream of Chicken soup - meh. It may have been homemade, but tasted like it came out of a can. I had a ham sandwich, thick off the bone slices of ham with big crispy strips of bacon and Broccoli bacon salad for my side. The salad reminded me of home! Tasted just like my moms! I'd categorize this as homemade Midwest farmer comfort food. Sandwiches are good, but for small town in the Midwest, we both thought the prices were a bit outlandish, even with the use of good farm fresh ingredients.

Unfortunately, today was completely different, and I left extremely disappointed. It started with the salad. The ranch dressing they make in-house tasted like someone had dumped a cup of salt into it. The ranch was so overwhelmingly salty that it completely ruined the salad. Then the mashed potatoes and gravy had a horrible aftertaste as well. At that point, I honestly started wondering if there was an issue in the kitchen or if everything was simply being over-seasoned. I brought my concerns to the manager, Page, expecting that she would at least listen and try to understand what I was experiencing. Instead, her response was simply, "I don't taste salt." Wow. What a shame. I explained my concerns, and rather than asking which food items I was referring to, what I was tasting, or even trying to understand the problem, she walked away without saying anything. Approximately 20 minutes later, she came back and repeated, "I don't taste salt." That was incredibly disappointing. I wasn't asking her to agree with me--I was hoping she would actually listen to a customer's concern and make an effort to address it. Instead, I felt completely dismissed. It is a real shame because I have been a longtime customer and have always enjoyed coming here. Unfortunately, today's experience, both with the food and especially with the way my concerns were handled by management, has completely changed my opinion. If this is how management in Aberdeen chooses to handle customer complaints, I unfortunately won't be returning. Very disappointing experience from start to finish.

Yes, stop on in here!…read more Located off 6th Ave SE between S Jackson St and S Congress St. They have a pretty wide variety of food to pick from, but I gotta give a shout out to the chicken and the chocolate chip cookie pizza. These two were the stars today! The chicken was really good and the chocolate chip cookie pizza was super delicious, soft on the inside, and nice and crispy on the outside. I think I'd go back just for the chicken and the cookies. Let me know what you think of these two!

They have fun merchandise made from local artists and a fair trade gift market featuring items from different countries. They also have used books and a reading/gathering area in the back. Such a unique spot - would definitely come again to see more!
