I made the approx 8 block walk to the grocery store & was pleased with what I saw but didn't want to have to carry my groceries all the way back when I knew there was a Rewe and Aldi both much closer to my hotel. They had the typical packaged meals, along with fresh bread and produce. My husband had the packaged couscous, and I chose the veggie wrap. While paying for the food, I noticed they also offered hot tomato soup, so I also got this. The hubby loved the couscous and gobbled in dow quickly (he can eat like a dog and it is hard to keep up with him!) My veggie wrap had tomatoes, lettuce, roasted red pepper and cream cheese. Nice and filling. The tomato soup was the star of the meal. Being that it was chilly in Frankfurt and I can live off of soup, this was wonderful. Nice and creamy and just the right amount of spices.
