Admiralbrücke is not just any bridge. It's the natural meeting point for everybody leaving in or…read morenear Graefe-Kiez. It's a well kept Berlin secret and not too many tourists stop by.
Everyday, but specially if the weather is hot and the sun is shining, you will find people hanging out on this bridge, chatting friends, maybe flirt a bit, drinking beer, kissing a hot date or having a picnic. Admiralsbrücke is a relaxed, casual place, open for any one, capturing the true spirit of Berlin.
I can spend hours here, just listening to the chatter, or to the music of the many street musicians that stop here to play a song or two. (It's customary to boo at the police when they write them a ticket or chase them away). This is absolutely one of my favorite places of this city.
