This review is for the production site in the weaving site 4 km north of Hwy 190, about 25 km from…read moreOaxaca. They are a savvy family business, and are likely very successful because of this. It was a bit disheartening when our driver passed by so many other weaving homes to end up at this one. The others were not swanky but quite the opposite. After allowing to be talked into buying - for much too money - a rug, we learned that our driver got a 30% kickback. It is the business here, and we were naive. But don't make our mistake. We "talked the lady of the house down" 25%. But we left feeling like we paid double what we should have paid. If we could do it again, we would have gone down the road and supported another place. I should have listened to my gut instinct when the son, like an automaton, talked at us about the weaving process and their tribute to the culture. We support that completely; just not the swindled part. Hope you have a better experience.

A couple years ago I bought this plastic which gives a nice effect & privacy on your windows and the best part is since it doesn't have glue it's pretty easy to remove, you just rub water on t he glass and the plastic will stick. I bought some last year but either it's a different brand or the quality got really bad since it doesn't work like it used too. You might see a western union sign here, but don't get too excited, most of the time you can't send money (which I really needed it last week)
