When it is a fraction of the price of room service I am more than willing to cross the street especially for all the good Brazilian food available. There are a lot of shops but I don't need much to shop for.

It's definitely…read moreworth a visit for the experience as you can find many Knick backs here but I wouldn't make a whole day of it or call it a must see. Go on the weekend for an hour or two to browse. It reminds me of a flea market in the states- booths of furniture and magnets and crafts. Many of the booths sell the same thing but some are unique finds. All quite affordable. The food court has some typical fried foods such as pastels. Not much shade but nice for some weekend shopping and souvenirs
