I also visited two of FNAC's other bookstore locations in Paris, but nothing quite compares to the one at des Halles. The reason why I'm not giving five stars is because the employees were rather perfunctory. Still, I gladly spent a small fortune on books each time because of the great selection.

The salesperson assured us all we had to do was put these new sim cards into our phones, but no, he would not do it for us. And also told us the special little tool for accessing the SIM port on our phones was included in the envelope (it was not). We attempted to install both SIM cards, neither of which worked. Finally got help from a Lyca (sp?) store in Paris, and purchased NEW SIM cards from another carrier, which worked great. I haven't yet found a customer service email online to get a refund. The live chat person hung up on me after giving me a 4-DIGIT phone number to call, which would not, of course, work in the US. Really bad customer service, and what a rip-off.

The staff members were really friendly and went out of their way to get us what we needed. We were really impressed with the service and efficiency. On a side note, which has nothing to do with the store, the network for Orange is better than SFR, but if you must get SFR, please stop by this store.
