Long story short, I confirmed twice with my NP, Dani Thomas, that she was ordering the correct tests as per my specialist. She still ordered the wrong test and apologized for doing so in the patient portal. I received a $450 bill for those wrong tests. The office told me to bring it in and that they would resubmit to insurance to see if they could at least get me some coverage, and to wait 30 to 90 days. They then ended up accidentally sending me to collections... Tammy in billing told me she was sorry and that she would try to work with me and Quest. However, after calling the office once a month for 4 months or more, I gave up and will now try small claims courts. In conjunction with my health issue, it was very hard on me and my family. I have no idea if they also submitted to insurance and got a separate payout. Whatever quality of care was definitely not worth all of this hassle. read more

I go to the office anyway for my medical. I noticed a sign a sign offering Botox for $10. a unit! I have been doing Botox a long time and that is cheap. So I was suspicious naturally! I want to let everyone who does Botox go see Dr Zebrack. HE is excellent. Very gentle he didn't even numb me. I highly recommend him. The staff is warm & friendly. Zebrack seems to be anti-veteran and ill equipped to provide quality service. He mocked me during my intake for a physical and seemed to be just checking the boxes. After my intake, on my way out, he made a comment about my medications that suggested I was a threat to people. The VA provides worse service, but I'd recommend going to them instead of community care through Zebrack. I've filed a complaint with the VA to take him out of their system, which I was assured the VA has escalated it. I don't know what will become of that, but veterans beware. Zebrack will mock your conditions and make unprofessional comments about you being a threat to people. Response to Zebrack: That's even more concerning that you claim not to remember that conversation. I wish you the best in your practice. read more

Can't give less than one Star this place is in the negative star category... Was referred here by the VA. To establish care, the doctor I saw wasn't interested In providing care or any kind of service or exam.. just felt like Dr was less concerned with providing care and more interested in seeing as many patients as possible... I was attempting to get yearly physical, which would require labs and an exam, yet the Drs here only came into exam room for barely 5 min then left ordered labs and diagnostic tests vs provide any actual services... Extremely disappointed with the level of care here, worse than the VA.. I'd highly recommend getting your care elsewhere.. I will never revisit this clinic, Doctors should perform their jobs to the best of their ability vs offering the bare minimum of service.. the staff can provide least amount of efforts and still charge full rates for services not rendered... I have been to 3 different physicians here and each experience has been worse than the last. These people don't respect boundaries even when its very clearly explained why they are making you uncomfortable. I should not have to be humiliated to tears when I am spending my money and time to get Healthcare! Ironically the women treated me the worst. Doctor Z barely seemed like he cared to exist in the same space as me but at least he didn't talk down to me. Attempted to be a new patient here but was rejected at my new appointment for being four minutes past my appointment time. Four minutes. I was told because I did not show up 20 minutes early for my appointment to do new paperwork along with being four minutes past my appointment time, they simply could not see me and would need to reschedule. Nowhere on the confirmation or reminder emails did it state I needed to show up early. If it's this important that they will entirely refuse to see you, it should be made clear on the reminder or confirmation emails. The office should call and leave a voicemail the day before reminding of such. I took off work early and rearranged my whole work day to make this appointment as it was crucial for me to get care. This was extremely devastating to me and I cried in front of the office staff. It was truly humiliating and they showed zero care or empathy. After this experience, I have found another doctors office as I refuse to be treated like this. Their office is also bizarre with a tropical theme and seemingly no air conditioning. It was warm and stale. No circulation happening in the waiting room whatsoever. 0/5 stars. Do not recommend. read more

I was dismissed as a patient becuase I dared ask Maria for a prescription for blood work that I needed for my hormone therapy. She doesn't feel that hormone therapy is something that older women need and just said I could go to another doctor. Since all they do at this office is referrals I was surprised by her judgmental attitude. She is not old enough or experienced enough to make decisions about hormone therapy about which she knows nothing. read more

Dani Thomas is a wonderful, knowledgeable nurse practitioner. She truly cares and takes the time to listen to her patient.

Where to begin... Dr. Z did not even pay attention or took notes about what I saying during the 1st interview, he look like he was in a "hurry" and I find out that was because they were celebrating something at the office at that time (after he rushed during the appointment, I saw him smiling with a plate on his hand and eating some sweets while walking around). He almost did not talk during the session, just took some notes and left.  3 months later and still I did not have the medication, evidence that the Dr. was not paying attention to what I was saying. The staff kept telling me that they contact the insurance and the insurance and the pharmacy kept telling me that they didn't. My insurance even reach to them and left voice mails on more than one occasion. I also left voicemails but my calls weren't return (not even one). The staff is somehow rude except for one lady and a young man.  After months without getting the medication (approved by the insurance since I called and asked), I decided to change the provider.  I personally do not recommend this office. read more

My doctor, Guillermo Saenz, was like a drug pusher. Three times he tried to get me on statins without EVER discussing the various risks. It turns out my readings were within normal range. I think they are more motivated by pharmaceutical related profits than patient health. I found out that statins are more of a LAST option, definitely not a first option. read more

The only reason I have provided 2 stars is because I had a good experience with NP Dani Thomas. There have been several issues I have let go but the original was that when I called, the intake coordinator couldn't manage to look up who my original referral was provided to (there are ONLY 2 doctors and 1 nurse practitioner there so it wasn't a huge inconvenience). The next issue I have is that I was seen 2 business weeks ago. Needed a referral for OB as I was 14 weeks pregnant then. Was told it takes a week for Tricare to process referrals (it doesn't, I have been with Tricare for 6 years. It takes 1-3 business days AT MOST). But, I waited till the following Thursday exactly 1 week from being seen. Had to call Friday, 1 week and 1 day since I had been seen, to find out my referral was not processed. When I asked WHEN the request was placed, I was not provided the date but then told that the referral had went through but that someone would call me Monday. NO ONE CALLED. NO ONE HAS YET TO CALL. On Monday I decided to contact the OBGYN provider to see if I could schedule an apt because I was now 15 weeks pregnant and their next availability was 2+ weeks out. The OB informed me that the proper codes to be seen were missing and that my primary would have to fix it - LOL. GREAT. I called Temecula Valley Primary Care Physicians and was met with a general mail box. I left a message saying this was time sensitive and needed to be addressed immediately. NO ONE CALLED ME BACK. So I called Tricare and was informed that the primary OR the referred provider could request an amendment to the codes (this was good news bc that meant I wouldn't have to continue to get ignored and could go straight to the OB to ask them to fix this issue). There is no need for a referral coordinator if you are going to have the patient need to take matters into their own hands due to incompetence and lack of attention to the matter. It has been a full 2 business weeks since I have been to the facility to obtain the referral and no one has called to let me know the referral went through or to fix the codes they improperly put in. I am now 16 weeks pregnant. The other low reviews are likely not due to the doctors but rather the reception. It's subpar and everyone LOOKS like they hate their job when you go in. read more

New to the area. Called to set up appointment because they are in network with my insurance. I have a PPO and they had a woman doctor that was accepting new patients. Very easy and quick to set up the appointment. They asked me to come in 30 minutes early for paperwork. I explained I need an appointment that will get me in and out ASAP and that I am choosing the doctor and the office based on my time constraints. They scheduled me for the first appointment after lunch so I would be first seen as close to 1:00 as possible. So... got there. Staff very nice. Waiting room freaked me out a bit - gross tiles on the ceiling - mold sanctuary. However - staying positive - everyone so nice. Did my paperwork, was taken back. I asked the person who went over the paperwork with me how long this would take - she assured me it would be quick - I had been there 20 minutes. She again was very nice. However - when 20 minutes turned into 40 minutes - I asked - ok when will I see the doctor - I was assured very quickly. When 40 minutes turned to 60 minutes - I asked, I know this is a first appointment - I am interviewing this doctor as well as the office - I want to know how much longer. I was asked to be patient - it was because it was my first appointment - things are much quicker normally. 75 minutes - I walked out. Explained I did not want to wait. Asked for my money back for my deductible. Funny thing is - I heard doctors talking in the next room. Of course I could have been seen. They lost a new patient plus my family as patients. I saw Dr Z. last Friday and he referred me to a lab. I found it too far for me to go tomorrow,(130 Miles) so finally got an appointment at their labs near me but until October 12! I'm in pain And need help right now so I called the Doctor' office to see if they can send me to another lab. but this lady (Xochitl) didn't help me at all! besides she was rude and no signs of sympathy at all. UPDATE 10/4/17 Dr Ayala is not at this office anymore so I can not give an accurate assessment on how the office is now or how Dr. Zebrack is. I called them though (primary care physicians) and they gave me her new office number which is (951) 698-1118. As others mentioned, the front desk staff are not overly warm, but they aren't cold or rude either. They do their job, and I wasn't spoken rudely to at all. They just seem focused. I saw Dr. Ayala for the first time today, and I loved her! I've never felt so comfortable with a doctor before. She was warm, patient, and friendly. I wasn't waiting for too long either. It took me about 25 minutes to fill out my new patient paperwork and after that, 30 minutes to be seen. I'm so relieved I found a doctor I feel 100% comfortable communicating to. read more

One star rating is too high! I give these clowns a ZERO! What a waste of time and gas. Made a first time appointment to see Dr Wise as a new primary care physician, two weeks ago. I arrived early as requested to fill out papers, 8 pages. A few minutes before my appointment time another waiting patient asks the receptionist why SHE was still waiting for her appointment with Dr Wise. The receptionist tells her Dr Wise has TWO other patients "back there" waiting as well!!!!!! Talk about unprofessional, the doctor gets behind and the patients suffer for it. By the time they catch up with you, you'll be lucky to get a one minute consultation. This is a classic example of a "medical mill", book as many patients as you can and limit your time with patient to under five minutes. Temecula Valley Primary Care Physicians are a disgrace to the medical profession. Called to talk to the office manager and was transferred to voice mail, I guess she's tired of talking to upset patients. read more

New to the area and went looking for a provider, heard great things about Dr Z so I scheduled an appointment. I was immediately disappointed, he barely looked up from his laptop to speak to me or ask about my history. My significant other had previously seen Dani Thomas and suggested I see her instead. I saw her and she's amazing, I have a complicated medical history and she took the time to address all my concerns and refer me to specialists. The front office is a different story. Office manager Tammy came to the phone after repeated portal messages and miscommunication aggravated my anxiety further. Tammy stated she needed forms from the specialist. I advised I'd only seen the specialists once and they had no history on me after a month of Diane, Miriam and everyone else telling me they'd asked for records from my previous pcp now they said different. I sent a message to Dani via the portal to get clarification for an upcoming appointment on a Wednesday only to get a response with a dismissal stating they can longer be my pcp due to MY behavior with the front office staff. They advised I take a disability leave which I did, they then didn't fill out a single form for disability despite another two injuries which left me unable to ambulate. I even went to UC to get X-rays and documentation at Dani's request. All the providers they claimed hadn't returned their calls or fax requests provided me with faxed records that had been sent to Dani's office over a month before all while the front office denied receiving them. Now I have a dislocated femur, knee, and unmanaged pain and they conveniently sent me a dismissal message on the day before my scheduled appointment in which I'd informed the front office I had all the records from each provider with me. I reached out to disability only for them to tell me since they received no response from Dani's office in over a month of requests, they denied my claim. My work also requested information that they never received and I've now lost my job and insurance for being on an "unapproved medical leave" all thanks to the staff. I wouldn't send an enemy to that place. They just don't care and see nothing wrong with their behavior so nothing will change. They don't deserve a single star. They put another patient's name on my sample and vice versa! There is no amounts of "I'm sorry" or "it's human error" that excuses this mistake! The owner ZEBRAK is an arrogant, rude and unprofessional man. He is dismissive and continues to excuse this crucial mistake with "its human error" he is also a doctor there so no wonder this practice is so incompetent. I started COMING here back in 2017 to see Dr. Zybrack. It was a nice clean office. I was able to make an appointment the same day I called. I had no complaints at first. As time went on their true colors came out. After coming here for around 4 years, they still have no clue what my name is. I'm so done with this office. I've never felt so embarrassed and treated so rudely as I was at this office. The front office is a major issue. They need to be trained in customer support. They have to clue how to treat their patients. They made me feel like I was bothering them every time I called or asked a question. They even had the nerve to make comments to one another about the prescriptions I was given. As if they were judging me. I felt very uncomfortable in the office. I thought the doctors here cared, but they don't! At the end of the day, I was just another number they needed to push through the line to collect their money and then kick me out the door. Every time I needed to refill a prescription, it was sent wrong and I would have to wait two or three days for them to get it right. When I started to complain is when it got bad. They refused to see me at the end and sent me a letter that I could no longer go to their office because I kept complaining about their service. If this is how you like to be treated and don't care that the Doctors have no clue who you are, don't remember anyone's name. I don't know about you but if I'm going to pay someone for service they better be nice and after 4 years remember my name. sorry, I will never go here ever again, THEY SUCK. We moved to this area and were seeking new medical care. Made an appointment with Dr Joanna Ayala. When we walked in, the ceiling tiles were stained and completely disgusting over the TV in the waiting room. It looked like a air conditioning leak issue and the overhead light was out too and had water in it too. Was told to come in at 12:30, fill out forms, and you'll be the first patient seen after lunch at 1pm. At 1:25 asked about the wait, the assistant said she'll check. At 1:40 we were done waiting with no explanation as to why we were made to wait. We asked for the co-pay back, and left. Didn't seem to bother anyone at all. Just lost TWO potential patients. And that leak, with the wet brown stains in the waiting room is not healthy for anyone to be breathing, including the staff. read more

I went here as a new patient to see Dr. Ayala. First let me say that the first time I was here for an appointment I waited over an hour to see the Dr. Not too happy about that. However, Dr. Ayala is very kind and I really liked her a lot. The second visit was similar. I waited almost an hour to see her again... ugh. I really don't know if I will stay with her as I can't see myself waiting that long every time to see my Dr. with an appointment I've have for weeks. I should have listened to my husband and yelped this place before accepting them as my primary office. I was recommended here by Tricare so I was like okay whatever. I've never had a bad experience with a doctor before. I mean I thought when you went into this profession it was because you wanted to help people and be around people. Anyway so I walked into the office thinking I had been assigned to Dr. Martha Nemer, false. I guess she wasn't available to the woman at the front desk sent me in to see Dr. David Zebrack. Let me back-track for a second...when I walked in I wasn't greeted, there were about 6-8 women behind the front desk and not one of them looked up from their conversations with each other or whatever they were doing. I walked up to the desk with my stroller and said, "Excuse me?" wait...."Excuse me?" A little louder...one of the women turn around, "What are you here for?" Me: "Hi I'm a new patient and I have an appointment at 11." Woman: "Sign number 11." and pointed me to the other side of the front desk I was confused at first until another woman held up a clipboard towards me. I signed in and gave them my ID and insurance cards. Waited...for about 10 minutes? Not too bad, but then she sent me back to Dr. Zebrack and I was like, "That's not who I was assigned to, I requested a female Dr." and they proceeded to tell me he was the only doctor here. So I went and had my vitals taken by his nurse (who was very sweet). I waited for him for a while and when he finally came back he eyeballed my two babies up and down with this look on his face like, 'Oh lord she brought her kids...' but anyway, he didn't even greet me when he walked in. Just sat down and said, "I'm Dr. Zebrack, why are you here today?" And I told him my concerns and he said, "But you don't really have any health problems it looks like." (Smoking, Alcohol, High Blood Pressure...Whatever..." and I said, "No..." and told him what I was thinking I needed and he kept brushing me off refusing to really hear what I had to say about my concerns with my current prescriptions. He just told me to have my pharmacy call him so he could refill my prescription. As he was walking out, "When's the last time you had your flu shot?" I pointed to my daughter and said, "I think right before she was born..." And he was like, "Well it's a new season, I'll send in my assistant to give it to you." I was like "Uhm..okay?" I don't know, it was just a really bad experience. I felt rushed, like I was wasting his time for forcing him to be at the office to see me or something. He was not warm or welcoming (neither was anyone in the office with the exception of the nurse who took my vitals.) I mean really, I was just uncomfortable and couldn't wait to leave. I literally sat in my car and started crying after I walked out of the office because of how uncomfortable he made me feel. And cherry on top of the sundae? He stepped on my daughter's foot (while she was standing holding onto her stroller) and just said, "Whoops." No apology or anything. I mean, why is he a doctor? Honestly? Because he obviously doesn't like people...I really hated it here and will be switching doctors ASAP. read more

Very unpleasant experience. I rarely feel compelled to write a review but I don't feel like people should get away with being so unprofessional and excpect to continue to get business. After reading other reviews I am convinced it was not just me being sensitive. I walked in and was never greeted. I had to grab someone's attention. ( there were six women sitting in front of me gossiping) I was rudely asked if I had an appointment, I did and she seemed bummed because now she had to actually help me. Fine. .. The nurse who called my name barely spoke up and said my name in a tone as if she was burdened for having to do something. She then did not greet me, ask how I was doing ,or even say "follow me". She just started walking expecting me to follow. She looked at the scale and looked at me. Still not one word. I felt like I had to give her some kind of sign of how uncomfortable she was making me so I asked how she was doing. "Umm I'm alright, you? " she seemed obligated to ask me how I was doing. Her small talk was awkward and disingenuous. She then flagged me in a room again no vocal cues just a wave. She asked me what was wrong then said "K, he will be in" and closed the door. OK. Sometimes a staff has an off day but I have a feeling this is a norm for them. I have been to places that have less than perfect staff but its worth it if the doctor seems personable . This however was not the case. He was short. Cut me off at one point and pushed all of my issues to specialist . so I guess he writes penicillin scripts and that's it. When I left I felt I had accomplished nothing. He directed me to the front where the staff had no idea what I needed and were still very curt. They did not give me any instruction on what was needed next. I really hate when people in customer service positions act as if you should know how things are done and talk down to you because you are asking them to do THEIR JOBS! Rarely am I glad to be sent somewhere else to complete lab work but I'm not sure I would have been comfortable with one of these nurses taking a stab at me with a needle. So kudos for outsourcing I guess. When I got to the place to take my blood even they seemed confused on how I managed to make it out of the doctors office without the proper paperwork which I asked the nurse twice if I needed! All in all taking a few lessons in common courtesy can go a long way. I work with people every day and I can not imagine expecting to go home employed treating them that way. read more

Next there was nothing but short and rude treatment from the front desk staff. I also had the privilege of hearing their latest gossip....all the while they were eating in plain view! They also spoke of a client as he left saying, "he was so annoying." WOW can we get some real front desk staff up there who understand what working in an professional environment means? But it didn't stop there....the medical assistant was impatient and seemed to be in such a hurry that a proper greeting was too much for her to handle. The doctor came in...no introduction...did not even acknowledge me as a human being. I sat there uncomfortable and ready to just get out of there. When we were done...he got up and said were done...any questions? He started to walk out. He didn't even have the bedside manner to thank me or even DIRECT ME OUT OF THE ROOM!!! I will never go back there and will only speak of my negative experience to others. Maybe Dr. Zebrack (had to look him up on the website) needs to think of another profession because he lacks the compassion one should have in that environment. read more

I've been a patient here for a while now. Michael is my favorite provider, followed by Dr. Wise and Dr. Zebrack. If you want a talkative and informative provider, see Michael. If you want a humorous and thorough doctor, see Wise. If you want a to-the -point and short and sweet doctor, see Zebrack. Liberty, the nurse is also wonderful. The only problem I have is with some of the administrative staff. Some are really helpful, while others can't wait to be done with you and make you feel like a burden both in person and on the phone.
