I went regular services and met the people there. Although it is a smaller congregation compared to the more I grew up in, it had a really good feel to it. The word in Yiddish is "hamish" I believe. I felt such a Connection to Hashem. I've been alone in my home for 8 months worth of Shabbes-es (due to COVID-19) and it was deeply moving to be with a Congregation. Technically, it's a Conservative shul, so they called me up for an Aliyah to the Torah, too! I haven't done that in 10 years. Beth Tefillah is a small and senior Congregation, trying to keep the Light alive in southwest Florida and they are succeeding. That reminds me. They have the largest party hall in the county. Rabbi Mike Stepakoff, talked on "Put G-D on HIS Throne," with scriptures John 15:16,18-19, John 16:33 and 1 Samuel 16:12-13, plus other scriptures that concluded with John 1:45 , "It all points to HIM-YESHUA . I have been praying for a place to worship and fellowship, so I am praying that Adonai will make it possible for me to attend even though I live in Spring Hill, Fl. I am getting cataract surgery this coming Tuesday, 14 Jan 25, with the second eye done a week later. I am praying this will make it possible to worship in person, until then I will be on line for your services.
