I continue to expand my Jewish learning, even studying for and celebrating becoming an adult bat mitzvah, and always revel in truly spiritual experiences. My family was very pleased with the religious school program. The rabbis are incredible -- wise, approachable, creative, dedicated -- and the congregants are diverse, social action oriented and truly kind, committed people. BK is my happy place.

I have been into this store many times over the years, and quiet a few times as of late. The nice…read morewoman who works the register there is always very helpful, and even remembers who we are when we go in. They definitely have a great selection of Judaica, and some of the most beautiful stuff I have seen around. Some great products I have bought or seen there include a Kosher Inovation lamp, which allowed me to hide and unhide the light on Shabbat, without turning the actual light on. They also are the only store i have seen that carried everything you need for cooking that are color coded and labeled "Meat" "Dairy" or "Parve." For a kosher household these could be incredibly important. The only downside to this store to me is that it is officially associated with the Lubavitch. I do NOT mean this as a negative thing toward the Lubavitch movement in any way shape or form. I only wish they could some other products like the Conservative or Reform Siddur, in case you need them as a gift. Obviously because this is a Lubavitch store, it wont, and I completely understand why it doesn't.
