It's not every day you can celebrate so many cultural and religious backgrounds among the same group of amazingly nice and welcoming people. There is a Buddhist meditation group, Christian celebrations during the holiday season, and mentions of Hindu and Hebrew history and belief systems throughout the year during various themed services on Sundays. Several members from this church created and still volunteer at the Green Institute in Naperville, and there is a very active environmental awareness group at the church as well. I also hear there's a feminist/women's rights group that meets periodically. They seem to be active in various social justice campaigns that benefit the broader community.

The people who welcome us are most friendly and even hold the door open for us no matter how bad the weather. I don't know of any priest there known as Dennis, but the two guys that are at the parish are excellent homilists. We find their messages to be inspiring and easy to understand. We're happy with our home parish, but also feel fulfilled at St. Peter's.

The volunteers are good-hearted people who seem to really care about others. I have recently started attending mass again on a regular basis. Fr. Dan talks to the parishioners like a friend would talk with another friend. Maybe even how one of my goofy cousins would talk to me. He has shown us how down to earth he is and makes every experience a positive one. Logistically, the location is great. Easy to get in and out of the parking lot. The parking is plentiful. The building itself is absolutely lovely and tastefully decorated. Mass is on Saturday evening at 5:00pm and Sunday morning at 8:00am and 10:30am. Stop by and reconnect.

We all know that these are hard times right now and how can anyone deny a child a toy for Christmas? I thought this would be something I because why she is such a Christian hearted person her true beliefs are bias. Against certain nationalities and we saw how often happened to be African-Americans so I guess she doesn't understand a grandmother's need for her grandchildren to have a decent Christmas this year since it's her she's spending I do so hope that the Lord has mercy on her soul..

Sarah and Marilyn and Jan are amazing people that I've come to know over the last few months. I'm told there is a waiting list forming for some days but I think there were some openings for the 17-18 year on other days. I am a member of the congregation and I'm on the committee that helps organize the preschool so that bears mentioning. It's also worth mentioning that the preschool is open to all kids of an appropriate age (2-4). Registration isn't limited to congregants or even to Jews. There are other families that have joined of a variety of religious backgrounds.
