I had the opportunity to come here for the "Lunar New Year" festival they were having. For this festival, they had the whole place decorated, and since there were special foods, prices, and portions, the service was very fast. Food was $10.00 and drinks $5.00. For food, we chose: - Birria Ramen (delicious, I ended up buying 2 extra to take home) - Sweet & Sour Tofu (tasty but nothing very special). My daughter chose a Boba and it was watery, without much flavor. I intend to return to try the original dishes of the house and to see what the atmosphere is like without it being a festival.

I love that their menu seems to keep changing, because I get to try new dishes knowing that it's going to be good. Good stop for lunch, too.

Temple Street Eatery is a perfect spot to check out if you're craving Asian food, but not sure exactly what you want. There is a good amount of variety to choose from, and everything seems to be delicious! Service is great; they have always been friendly each time I've gone, and the food doesn't take too long to come out after ordering. On this day, we got the poke bites, wonton tacos, and Hawaiian punch boba. There weren't too many boba flavors to choose from, but this one was tasty and very sweet! The poke bites are so fresh and refreshing, I can pop them back like nothing. And finally, the wonton tacos were packed with flavor and was a perfect small plate. Temple Street Eatery is definitely a place to check out.

Ambiance 2/5 The interior felt a little odd to me. It seemed like a mix of a café, restaurant, and bar. There was a mishmash of Asian decor around the place that felt random. The bar area didn't have any stools and the space was taken up by supplies. There's a decent amount of seating with indoor and outdoor options but the high tops along with the bar and TV gave a sports bat vibe which looked off for an Asian sit downrestaurant. There's a counter for the main food and a side counter for boba and appetizer like food. The inside was pretty loud when I went with Latino music which was another thing that seemed odd to me. Definitely didn't expect this vibe going in. Service 2.5/5 There wasn't much to say about the service. Besides ordering and someone bringing the food to us there wasn't much interaction but they were professional. Miso Ramen ($16) 2/5 I got the miso ramen with lemon grass grilled chicken but it was not what I expected at all. Even when I got my ramen I was surprised that the soup spoon was a cheap, plastic, disposable spoon. It felt more like a slightly fancy instant ramen. The broth had a light flavor but was fine. The noodles seemed like they actually came from an instant ramen pack. The egg was a little overcooked and the yolk was a little too solidified. The bean sprouts made it seem more like a pho but I didn't mind since there wasn't much veggies besides the bamboo shoots and spring onions. The chicken was dry and bland and tasted more like boiled chicken instead of grilled chicken. I wouldn't order this again but it was filling and didn't taste bad.

We hadn't been back to Temple Street Eatery in quite some time and decided to give it another go. The crispy chicken wings were definitely the highlight--super crispy skin, just the way we like it! One of my all-time favorite dishes here. We also really enjoyed the cucumber salad with wood ear mushrooms--a refreshing, flavorful summer dish that stood out. I ordered the Bulgogi bowl, which was just okay for me--solid 3 out of 5 stars. I personally prefer the version at Tacowa in Boca. I also tried the Hong Kong milk tea, which was also just okay and didn't leave much of an impression. It's hard to compete with the Hong Kong milk tea from San Francisco. We visited during happy hour, but unfortunately weren't able to take advantage of the drink specials. The fountain machine was down, so there was no water unless you were willing to pay $3 for bottled. Because of that, none of the specialty or alcoholic drinks were available, which was a bummer and definitely took away from the experience. Overall: Food - 4/5 Service - 3/5 Cleanliness 2/5 there was a big puddle of water on the floor near the bathroom/ kitchen area. The food alone makes it worth a visit, but hopefully they get their drink situation sorted out soon.

We've been here before and had to come back. Another great lunch and will probably be back again. Definitely recommend.

I enjoyed the experience at the Temple Street Eatery. Food was good, I wouldn't say it was "authentic" but everything we ordered was very tasteful and well-prepared. Service was good. I particularly enjoyed how cute the place was decorated. It is casual dining place for lunch or quick snacks.

I was a bit disappointed when I actually started eating my bowl. It looked very delicious and it tasted good, until I started eating the top part off. This bowl is specific and you can add things to it and I added the rice noodles to it. I wasn't expecting that they were just going to replace the greens at the bottom of the bowl entirely with rice noodles and add greens to the bowl. I ran out of veggies and chicken and still had a ton of rice noodles that I didn't even finish the bowl. I hate throwing food out so I just have them sitting in my fridge till I make some dinner and add this to them. So side note, if you want to add rice noodles to your bowl, ask for them on the side.

I enjoyed my takeout order for lunch. I found this restaurant on UberEats. I checked out the reviews on Yelp and they were good so I decided to try them out . I was pleasantly surprised by how flavorful the food is and for lunch I received my order quickly. I ordered the 6 pc shrimp dumplings that were delicious and a good portion. I also ordered the edamame falafel bites that comes with hummus and pita bread. It was good but much smaller than I expected but at least I know that going forward. Now I saw they had an ube affogato and I had to try it. Boy was I happy I did! It is absolutely delicious and the perfect way to finish my meal. I will definitely order from this restaurant again and try out other options.

Passed by this eatery a few months ago and was curious because it was so busy. We finally got to come back and try it. It's in a strip mall, so there's lots of parking. The place is clean and bright and seats about 16 or so inside, with a few tables outside. When we first arrived around 6 pm, it was kinda empty. But it quickly filled up. It features food with an Asian flair and Hispanic touches. We had the pork dumplings appetizer, the Godzilla Ramen, and the Buddha Bowl. The dumplings were boiled and moist and delicious. The Godzilla ramen had pork belly, ropa vieja, Asian veggies, and a boiled egg. We loved the pork belly, egg, and veggies but the ropa vieja gave the broth a heavy taste. The ramen itself was fine. I ordered the Buddha Bowl with chicken and noodles. It also was accompanied by greens, marinated veggies, thick and chewy mushrooms (loved them!), and a sauce of choice (mine was soy garlic). Mix it all up and your tastebuds are in for a delightful treat. You order at the counter, where they ask for a tip to be included before you are even served. (I hate that; I tip at the table.) Your meal is brought to you. Our dinner for two with one appetizer and two entrees was about $46. We definitely will be back to try more from the varied menu.

Temple Street Eatery takes its name from the street in Hong Kong that houses a famous night market. Located off of Federal Highway in downtown Ft. Lauderdale, Temple Street is co-owned by Alex Kuk who was born in Florida to parents from Hong Kong. His partners are chef Diego Ng, who was born in Venezuela to Chinese parents, and his aunt and uncle, Christina and Jason Huynh, owners of nearby Christina Wan's Mandarin House, one of the restaurants Kuk trained at. When creating his own restaurant Kuk was inspired to bring affordable Asian comfort food in the flavors of China, Japan and Korea to South Florida. I have been to Temple Street for two Yelp events, most recently for Kitty Boba, the new boba tea stall in Temple Street. While attending that event I saw that Temple Street was having a 10th anniversary party on Saturday night. I am so glad I came back for it because they went all out. The party spilled out out into the parking lot where there were vendors selling items and dancers from Polynesian Proud Productions performed. The night ended with an exciting fire dance. Inside Temple Street there was a special luau festival menu with appetizers and Hawaiian plates of teriyaki chicken and beef, lemongrass tofu, kalua pulled pork, crispy shrimp, and salmon poke along with specialty drinks. I had the teriyaki beef and Aloha Pog and they were both fantastic, especially that tender teriyaki beef which was so flavorful. I had a great evening celebrating with Temple Street. Congratulations on your 10 year anniversary and here is to many more!

Good ramen! Quick service. Good vibe. Pork belly nice and tender and they nailed the soft boiled egg. They have some chili sauce that comes in a super small container but packs a serious punch.

I came here for the first time, Temple Street Eatery is pretty good and has different fusions. We ordered a few plates to try like the Ramen Beef Pho Noodles Soup, wings, shrimp dumplings, Shrimp wonton Tacos, and the Vietnamese lumpia all were very good some spicy but tolerable. Service could be better when ordering but the lady who brought out the plates to the table and cleaned up is very nice and friendly. They have plenty of parking, and are open from 11 am - 9 pm you can eat inside or outside as they have outside tables. If you're in the area, definitely give Temple Street Eatery a try.

Parking was easy, with a metered lot conveniently located across the street. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and requested outdoor seating so we could enjoy the waterfront views and watch the boats pass by. The atmosphere was relaxing, scenic, and definitely one of the highlights of the experience. Our server was friendly, attentive, and had a great personality. Table snacks was a small bowl of popcorn. To start, we ordered a Pearl Bourbon Smash and a Dragon Margarita. The Bourbon Smash was so good that we ordered a second one. The Margarita wasn't my favorite, but I finished it and followed it up with a Sensei Old Fashioned. For our entrees, we ordered the Korean BBQ Bulgogi and the Korean Steak Chimicurri (spelled that way on the menu, so I'm not sure if it was intentional). The Bulgogi portion was generous, and we really wanted to love it, but unfortunately the meat arrived cold. That was disappointing, especially after being told that everything is made from scratch. My husband's entree was served about 10 minutes before mine, which wasn't ideal. Generally, guests dining together should be served at the same time. I encouraged him to start eating so his meal wouldn't get cold, but unfortunately it already was. My steak arrived hot and was cooked slightly more than the medium temperature I requested, leaning closer to medium-well. Despite that, I still enjoyed it. It was served with jasmine rice and maduros, which complemented the dish nicely. Overall, we had a lovely dining experience. The waterfront setting, pleasant service, and enjoyable cocktails made for a great outing. We would definitely consider returning, especially to combine dinner with one of the boat tours. To top it off, our server gave us a bag of cotton candy. I felt like a kid. I haven't eaten cotton candy in years

I asked if they had one in Chinese so my wife could easily read it. She doesn't read English too well. To my surprise, they didn't have one. OK. No problem, I know what she likes so I ordered for her. I was hoping for more actual Chinese fare, but it was all Americanized Chinese dishes. I ordered the Sichuan Beef (which was marked spicy) and asked for it to be made extremely spicy. The waiter told me that he would bring some chili oil with the meal. I also ordered the Velveted Shrimp, Green Beans with Pork (which I was hoping would be like a Gan Bian Si Ji Dou, A very Famous Sichuan dish), and the Steamed Cod. The rice bowl was upside down on a small plate and came out almost immediately. Interesting presentation and it is supposed to keep it warm or something? We waited 10 minutes for the rest of the dishes to arrive. Not a long wait at all. First thing I dove into was the Sichuan Beef, as I lived in the Sichuan Province and love the Sichuan Style spicy food. I didn't see a single pepper, pepper flake or Sichuan Peppercorn in it at all.It wasn't really spicy at all. I asked my wife to give it a try, as things I find not spicy at all, she finds too spicy. She didn't taste a hint of spicy at all. I dumped the entire spicy chili oil that the waiter brought in and mixed it up and tried it again. Still nothing. My wife could still eat it. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything really great. When I order Sichuan Spicy food, I expect serious heat, and the mouth numbing Sichuan Peppercorn flavors. Zero. The Green Beans with Pork were pretty meh, as were the Velveted Shrimp and the Steamed Cod. There really wasn't much taste to any of it. If you look at the pictures, you will notice that the sauces were not reduced and did not cling to the food. Maybe that was part of the problem. I jokingly told my wife it was probably better than a Cheap Chinese buffet and not as good as an average authentic Chinese Restaurant. She said she would rather go to the buffet, and she never goes to the buffets... We did arrive there right when they opened and saw Wan come in a half hour later. Maybe the problem was that it wasn't him cooking the food. I do like his video's though. The cost of these four dishes and a soda was $110.00. Highly overpriced, in my opinion, for pretty average Americanized Chinese food.

I had an early dinner here with some friends before heading to the airport. This restaurant had…read moresuch a gorgeous, elegant interior with sparkling chandeliers, pretty purplish lighting, and fancy touches, such as white table cloths. It was also spacious with comfortable booth seating. We were served Papadam with red and green chutney. The Papadam was light and satisfyingly crunchy. For the appetizer, we shared the Chilli Chicken, which were crispy bite size pieces, mixed with bell peppers, tossed in a sweet chili sauce with a slight kick. The Chicken was cooked to perfection and well seasoned. I ordered the Lamb Biryani and Garlic Naan. The Naan was not garlicky enough for me, but the Biryani made up for it, consisting of fragrant Indian rice, plenty of spices, nuts and raisins, making for a truly flavorful dish. The Lamb was tender and deeply savory. Also got to try the Vegetable Korma, which was full of fresh and tasty vegetables. The Korma sauce was delightfully creamy and delicious. Service was wonderful. Our waiter was welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu. All the food came out in a timely manner and we had a lovely time dining here. I wish I had tried the Mango Lassi and Fish or Shrimp Goan Curry.

I'm convinced that they're paying for the 4.5 star rating because the food was gross. I ordered basmati rice and they gave me 1 person enough rice to feed 8 people. The portions are huge so i guess that makes some people happy but the food was TRASH. I'm here for work but if i come back, I will never visit this place again. I took two bites and put all 45 dollars worth of food outside my hotel door.

Hubs and I yelped for a restaurant close to Sanctuary Church. Bangkok Bistro Thai & Sushi was at…read morethe top of the list. This is absolutely going to be a part of our rotation for top asian-fusion eats in Fort Lauderdale. Our group of 4 was quite impressed - from the warm service (shout out to Chino), beautifully plated dishes, to the flavors that hit every note from comfort to creativity. In fact, our female friend actually said while most asian restaurants we've introduced them to were very good, this place is by far the BEST of all! We started with 2 orders of grilled chicken skewers - perfectly charred, tender, and lightly sweet from the marinade, that came with a bright cucumber-tomato salad and the creamy peanut sauce that tied everything together. The Bangkok Wings topped with crunchy onions was a standout--so juicy inside. The Tom Kha soup with chicken was comfort in a bowl. Velvety coconut broth, mildly spicy with fresh herbs and mushrooms that soaked up all that flavor. For mains, the Mixed Seafood Pad Thai was just out-of-this world! That was super delish - it had the classic balance of sweet, tangy, and savory. Loved the thin, glossy and well-coated rice noodles. The Dynamite mussels was innovative. Creamy, lightly torched, topped with crispy tempura flakes, and beautifully presented. Loved the different textures in each bite. We also ordered a Four Seasons Specialty Roll which came with shrimp tempura, salmon, tuna and some type of white fish with asparagus and eel sauce. Yummo! The menu is huge and we will definitely be back to try more items. Check them out - absolutely worth a visit.
