My first contact was with a temp-recruiter named Amy Geoghegan for an in-person interview at the Baltimore, inner-harbor HQ. I was also introduced to the permanent-placement recruiter Megan Hughes for another interview. By mid-April, I was brought on to work for a University as a temp. Within 2 & 1/2 weeks, I was hired as an employee for the college itself. Throughout the process, as a temp, I was given continuous logistical and in-person support by Baltimore Office Team including (in particular): Erin Rebarchick, Bryanna Marshall, and Amy Keitt. I couldn't recommend the going with Robert Half's Office Team enough.

You come in to the office, take degrading tests to make sure you're not an idiot and then they tell you that the only positions they have are $8 an hour jobs. Like I said, this happened to me twice and on my second visit, I heard them giving the exact same speech to another poor soul that signed up too "Well we understand you were making $65k at your last position but would you consider this $10 an hour gig?"

I saw a position that I was perfectly qualified for, including all of the specific softwares etc…read more I went online and submitted my resume and answered all of the questions. Then a chat robot comes on and says it looks like I am a good match for the position, obviously using an algorithm, and sets me up with a phone interview for someone to call me in a couple of day, and confirms it. Of course, nobody calls. I left my schedule open and even canceled plans at my daughter's school. This is not the first time they have shown utter disregard for applicant and made empty promises -- this is their M.O. They largely are staffed by kids right out of college with no business experience. When they say they have sent my resume to a "client" and I would be perfect and they need someone right away, I doubt it is even a client of theirs. I believe they are just looking at ads and sending resumes to them, no different from what I am doing. What an utter waste of time and energy that could be better spent on jobs that actually exist.
