I enjoy this place. You can pretty much go to anyone and your nails are pretty much perfect. You know how you go to nail salons and you only want one specific person working on your nails? Yeah, here you don't have to worry about that. The ladies are super nice and funny. There actually is a long wait if you don't have an appt. But I've done eyebrows here and mani and pedi and they never steer me wrong. My bestie always gets her lashes done here and they look nice but my eyes are super sensitive to the glue it makes me cry so if your eyes are sensitive maybe that service isn't for you, looks nice tho! It's a pretty small place and about 6 ladies work there so maybe an appt is better especially if you're short on time. They do pretty crazy designs too, I think I waited a good hour and a half before but you know it's worth it when you need a good nail lady! Owners name is Jackie and she's pretty cool. Be careful they will charge you for service they did not do. I got a pedicure and the lady tried to charge me for removing gel off my feet, she removed regular nail polish from my toes NOT GEL. She's supposed to be the professional, she should know the difference between gel and nail polish. We began to go back and fourth about it, really arguing about it! I don't know if she was tired, delusional, money hungry, insane or all of the above. What I do know is she was completely mistaken if she thought I was going to pay her for removing imaginary gel from my toes. On top of it the pedicure looked horrible, and then she wants an extra fee for some shit she didn't do? Bitch what? Waste of time, money and energy. I have to agree with you ladies Ten Perfect is a Prefect Ten. I have been going to these ladies for about 16 years. The owners are Michael and Jackie. It's like Cheers when you go in there because they all speak to you by name. Julie is my girl for my hands she ALWAYS has me on point. The few times Ive tried to be lazy and go to other salons i always run to Julie to fix and she always says,"that's what you get for going to new people"......lol Gotta love because we share a birthday. Natalie is the best on mine and my husband's pedicures. And if you don't know what design tell the ladies to make it up. I have NEVER worn same design unless by request. I've been going to Ten Perfect since 2005 and I only go there to see Lee to get my hairy eye brows fixed. As soon as I walk in and the first word I say is, "Lee?" lol and they know I'm there for my eyebrows because I go when they are totally grown out. Lee is one person who I trust with my eyebrows, because she makes them according to my face structure. No other person can fix them as she does. She knows my eyebrows are thick and hard to work with, matter of fact she says it to me, "you hairy, too thick" lol yes, I know too blunt, but I don't care what she says to me as long as she does my eyebrows well. I only wish she wasn't pressured by her boss lady to always insist on saying, "oh you need upper lip waxed, and pedicure" I mean yes who wouldn't love to be pampered but when times are tough and you can only afford what's the bushiest thing on your face-- Your brow then you go and get that brow waxed. Another thing, recently with the economy being so bad, obviously customers probably started delaying visits i.e. instead of 2 weeks going every 3 weeks or what ever the case may be...so I'm guessing that is why for a few of my visits instead of wax, my eyebrows were "shaved" with that thin pencil that has a blade. I mean, yes for a few minor difficult hairs that stick out I understand, but it was to the point that my entire upper and lower eyebrow was being, "bladed" and this was frustrating because I would start seeing hair growth in 2 days vs. 5 days. I mean, and then I finally told Lee to use wax more than the blade. After that I don't have to remind her to use blade vs. Wax. I mean, even despite the efforts of them trying to get me to spend more than $10 I am tempted but being a college student and working less than part-time, it's not easy to cough up more than $10 tip included for eye brows. read more

The place is really dirty and small. They don't clean their tools so you'll probably end up with some type of disease afterwards. I come to this nail shop maybe once a year only bc it is across the street from me and need something done immediately and I don't have time to go across town to my usual place. Each time I do come, I pray they do better than the last but I don't know why I have any faith in them. They always rush my service and overcharge me for no reason. Their signs say one number but they always charge me at least an additional $2 so I don't tip, not that theyre deserving of it anyways. I've been to plenty of salons where they don't charge nearly as much and provide a much more thorough service. Because they rush their service, I often leave with at least one cut because they poorly cut into your cuticles or poke too deep under your nail bed. Every time I've gone, I've been serviced by a different "technician" (should probably verify their license) and neither one has done anything outstanding for me. I can tolerate a lot of pain but they always seem to hurt me, they can never file my nails straight, and they don't listen to requests. Most don't understand English other than the items on their services board which they will literally offer you line by line. The regulars seem to be loved but they never speak to me so there has never been a relationship built nor do they listen to me when I try to speak to them. I may continue to come to this salon for my once in a blue moon visits, but only if it's inconvenient for me to go to my regular salon. I wish I could give them Zero Stars because I don't think they are deserving of any stars regardless of me using their services once in a while. read more

I just started going to Ten Perfect after I saw one of co-worker's nails. I only see Tracy when I go here and she always does a great job. Going to her was a real treat after my last nail shop experience in Union City. I don't even want to talk about that place. Anyway, my nails last and I'm getting compliments on how they look ALL the time. I'm pretty conservative when it comes to nails so I always get the pink & white. Got a sorry excuse for a massage on my manicure (only 30 seconds on each hand) & after being talked into an upgrade on my pedicure I don't feel a difference. I've been going to this place for about 5 years & the service & work has definitely gone down the drain! I went in last Saturday to get a regular mani/pedi & the ladies there try their hardest to make you get a gel manicure, I prefer the regular for specific reasons. The lady that did my mani/pedi did a horrible job! My usual nail tech wasn't there & I should've followed my first mind & left. Not to mention my polish on my nails came off 2 days later to the point where I had to take my polish off completely! As I'm leaving work yesterday, I notice that the polish on my feet is coming off as well! This place is 5 mins from my house, but I will not be returning! read more
