Like most…read moreteens today, my daughter has only really used her iPhone to take photos, but got very interested in real cameras after a fashion internship. Jamie arrived with her Canon DSLR and a full complement of lenses, and proceeded to show my daughter the difference between the lenses, what you achieve by using them, and how to operate a real camera that has a world of settings and possibilities. Jamie was friendly, gregarious, open and welcoming, and she held my daughter's attention for the full 2 hours of the lesson. Her website says she also holds group lessons, and I have to imagine those would be great as well. I didn't use Jamie's services as a photographer, so I can't really speak to her work as such, but based on our experience with her, Jamie will be my first call when I do need a photographer -- I have to imagine she handles a crowd well, and maneuvers adeptly through an event... hearing what she said to my daughter about what to shoot, when and how, I trust her instincts and I'm certain her work will be superior.

She knew exactly how to swaddle and pose him, while Steve was a true artisan with the camera. Steve captured the most expressive shots at all the right angles. Beverly and Steve were also very receptive to our requests! My husband is a rock climber, so we wanted to create a couple of newborn pictures that included his climbing gear. Beverly made it come together so beautifully! Steve and Beverly were also patient and kind about newborn messes (spraying during diaper changes, spit up after feeding, etc.). They've seen it all (they are parents themselves), and the mess doesn't faze them. In addition, they gave some great advice to ease my anxieties as a first-time mom. Valeska, the owner of Kobear Photography is very accommodating and kind. She is patient and just really wants to get the best photos possible. We loved that about her. When covid hit, we had to downsize our wedding and changed the location to our home. Valeska still took our wedding photos despite covid and all the changes that we made. She brought two assistants and was such a sweetheart. She also set up a photobooth which my guests loved. She was timely with the production of the photos and even sent us a sneak peak set of photos. We had a horrible experience with this place We went here…read morebecause we had gotten an offer for a good deal that included all digital photos When we got there, their gate wasn't working and with a 3 week old had to wait for over 2 hours for them to fix it While taking the photos we had people asking the photographer a million questions and they had to pause several times which made my baby very fussy When it came time to pay they said for 16 pictures we had to pay 1200$ Which was not what they originally advertised This place is a major scam The only reason I came here was the distance and the advertisement The pricing says digital photos included but its a lie.
