Awful food, even worse people. Incredibly rude to customers! It was the absolute worst customer…read moreexperience I have ever had in a restaurant, take-out or otherwise, by far! The guy "tag-teamed" his wife to come out of the kitchen and bicker with me, right in front of multiple other customers, when I "dared" to speak up about their tone and attitude, then repeatedly pointed to a sign on the wall that said "we match your energy" (AKA: "we reserve the right to be total a****les for any and all perceived slights, real or imagined") when I had the "audacity" to complain about how they spoke to me and my dad on the phone and in-person. They were furious that my elderly dad was "taking too long" to place his order for four people (he was not, at all) and acting like it's somehow our fault that they only have a single phone line. Give me a break (take-out only establishment, by the way). They then proceeded to promptly cancel my dad's order and shoo me out, all the while cussing at me in Mandarin, at which point I walked out of there (for the last time). You would do well to AVOID this place at all costs, trust. Not to mention, I've had their food more than a few times before, and it is not even NEARLY good enough to justify them being this nasty towards their patrons. Their offerings are the very definition of "sodium-infused slop" and "mediocre at best" and they act like we are lucky to be allowed to purchase them. What a joke! Do yourself a HUGE favor (like I did) and pay a little extra for a place with WAY better people and service, and MILES better quality food, places such as Shangri-La (amazing!), for example. Never, ever again. You have been warned!

BUUT why are you closed every time I'm craving Chinese? I get it. Everyone deserves time off. You're a small family business. Work-life balance, as they say! But I want my (huge, perfectly crisp, bursting with deliciousness) egg rolls dammit! I've even got my parents who live in Arizona hooked on you like a drug. Only to be disappointed whenever they are in town-sure enough you are closed! It's becoming a running joke in my family. I'll call and get a busy signal on your single phone line as many times as it takes (11, to be exact tonight). Today, I hit rock bottom and ended up getting the most awful/greasy/disappointing almond boneless chicken and salty weird wonton soup from another establishment, like an addict who needs her fix). Never again. I understand that good things come to those who wait... I'll keep waiting for you, Szechuan Gourmet. Please be gentle with my heart. And my tastebuds. And my GI tract.

We were first ones in but by time we left many tables full. The lady who greeted us and served us was super friendly! There were original menus on the tables when we came in which we absolutely loved and ordered off of. She also brought us over American Chinese Style menus. I love original menus gad photos :) Portions are large and my friend and I shared two entrees which came with small bowl of rice for each of us. We ordered Spicy Chicken and Sliced Pork with garlic sauce. Both were delicious but the Spicy Chicken was my fave. Super favorable. Perfect spice level and the chicken was deliciously breaded and fried without feeling heavy or too breaded. Since this is a fusion restaurant, I would love to come back to also try some Korean dishes. We paid at counter at end of meal. Dining room isn't fancy but had a nice clam vibe. Definitely will go back!

The simple stirfried green bean is stunning and it is great option to cool down my tongue from the spicy dishes. The staffs are kind. It is local, plain and simple restaurant. It is small and crowded especially during the weekday lunch or weekend dunner, Usually I matter the ambience but this is exception. I go there just for food.

They are really giving customers the full Chinese experience - like a Shanghai lockdown. Masks are still worn, box lid are used to collect items (credit card, cash) and then to throw things back at you. But hey, it's their place. Whatever. The owner/wife was very helpful when I had questions about differences between some of the dishes, which vegetables come with, etc. Food was ready in about 10 min and was very hot (duh - straight from the wok) and very fresh! Had the Szechuan Chicken dinner combo since she said it was made with white meat. And it was - big pieces too, not the thinly sliced weird "white meat?" chicken that is often seen at Chinese restaurants. Nice assortment of fresh veggies, good chicken fried rice (so many places that include poor dry fried rice with their combos), and a bean sprout-based egg roll! My favorite style. If they do have good days and bad days of service and food, I certainly caught them on a great day. Thanks Moy Kong! I'll be back. One note - Prices are now $1.00 to $1.50 higher than the printed menu due to "higher food prices".
