My search for using an MGM affiliated dinner credit was a journey to say the least. It began in Mandalay Bay (lines for my preferred option), moving via tram on to Excalibur (no decent options available besides a food court) and ending in Luxor. "Tender" was on the food credit list, and although they needed reservations for booths (therefore unavailable), they could accommodate me at the bar. Bar staff were fantastic and the ambience was cool - a mix of nostalgic stylish lounge vibes. The food was thankfully great also. My order of the Steak Brushetta came out quick, followed by a French Dip and Blackened Salmon. Everything tasted great. Highly recommended.

I had to meet a friend at Luxor and decided to have dinner at their steakhouse first time going. Overall is a good experience. Service was good. There was a stand out the food runner who had a great attitude unfortunately I can't remember his name. Miss your traditional, looking guest house with a nice language in the front very clean lots of wood great ambience The shrimp appetizer was good. We had the shrimp on the better polenta presented on fire, which was kind of cool. It started our evening off. Wright followed up with a Caesar salad, which was done well with tasty croutons. We split a tomahawk. It was perfectly done. Overall the places price very well. I would go back if I was in the hotel again.

Father's Day Special , 18oz ribeye, garlic mashed potatoes, grilled asparagus and grilled shrimp all for $85.

Used Yelp to find a good reasonably priced steakhouse while in Las Vegas. I was not disappointed. Tender Steakhouse in the Luxor had Great food, great friendly service and a beautiful atmosphere. Staff was very attentive. Highly recommend this restaurant.

We enjoyed eating at the bar and chatting with the bartender versus being in the back dining room. We both ordered the special as well as a couple cocktails. Food was very fresh, prepared perfectly and delicious. Highly recommend Tender if you happen to be at the Luxor.

Food, service and ambiance were great! Located inside the Luxor, the restaurant is classy, upscale, and has dark cherry wood and dark booths. While it's upscale, it's not pretentious and casual attire should be fine. You'd feel out of place in shorts and flip flops though! The filet mignon was delicious and cooked perfectly medium rare. We shared the Caesar salad and they split it for us. The risotto was good, but could use a little more flavor. The service was very attentive and top notch.

Pleasantly surprised. Steakhouse inside of Luxor. Staff was very attentive. Food was great. We had shrimp and grits, Jack Daniel's steak and a custard dessert. Drinks were always topped off and servers were very kind and attentive.

Yeah I forgot to get the cheesecake shot before I dug in

My vegas trips tend to be themed and my last trip was steak themed. Tender was on my radar and I was staying next door so it was an easy decision. Decor is classic steak house. Rat pack music and pictures. Staff was pleasant and well turned out. I started with a mojito it was perfect. Then the dry aged ribeye and potato. I was not displeased. Steak was flavored and prepared perfectly Bread was excellent. Potato was all you could want in a potato. It was expensive.... But not to the point I was offended.

Came here with a group of six and had such a great night at Tender Steakhouse. The atmosphere is one of those places that feels upscale but still comfortable enough to actually relax and enjoy the evening. Dim lighting, a stylish dining room, and just the right energy without being too loud -- perfect spot for a long dinner with friends. We started with lavender martinis which were honestly one of the highlights of the night. Super smooth and a little different from the usual cocktail you see everywhere. For food we had a mix at the table -- steaks, chicken, and of course we couldn't skip dessert. The steaks were cooked perfectly and full of flavor, and the chicken was just as good. You can tell a lot of care goes into the food here. And the mousse dessert at the end was the perfect finish. Overall it was one of those dinners where nobody wanted to leave because everything from the drinks to the food to the vibe just worked. Definitely a spot worth checking out if you're in Vegas and want a great steakhouse experience.

We had a long day and flew into Las Vegas around dinner time. By the time we checked in and dropped off our luggage, we were starving. After looking on Yelp, we decided to dine in with TENDER Steakhouse located inside the Luxor Hotel!! We were immediately seated when we arrived. Besides our waiter, there were a few more waitstaff helping out as well. They gave us complimentary bread. It was warm and tasty, but not the amazing kind. We ordered the BLT Wedge Salad. WOWZA! That salad was FANTASTIC and DELICIOUS!!! The smoked applewood bacon was crispy and flavorful. The balsamic glaze was just right. ( Not strong vinegary taste ). The smoked sun-dried tomato dressing was killer!!! We both had the bone-in ribeye steaks. It looked fantastic when they brought it out. It was cooked to our liking. The quality was great. It tasted like they put salt and pepper on before grilling. You may choose to purchase enhance sauces to make your meal more flavorful. Like green peppercorn sauce, red wine sauce, truffle butter, or their trio of sauces. Our steak came with chimichurri sauce. The steaks were delicious, but not out of the ballpark kind!! The decor was like you went back in time. You could close your eyes and imagine the movie stars gathering around. It's a beautiful place. The pictures don't do it justice. Overall, a great spot for dinner! The staff were very friendly and helpful. A convenient place if you're not wanting to venture out. While it's pricey, it was still a great night!!

I have dined here many times over the years. This was actually my first time dining at the bar. I had a great experience this past Sunday evening following attending the football game. The bar staff were very welcoming, friendly, and attentive. Food was delicious! Bread service seemed to be absent. I know they used to provide that. I started with a quite good Caesar salad. Then I had the filet Mignon with a red wine sauce and a loaded baked potato. I finished with the chocolate mousse cake. I wish they had a more premium selection of wines by the glass. I remember coming here around twenty years ago and they had Jordan Cabaret Sauvignon by the glass then. They could improve the offerings, which were just fair. The ambiance was pleasant and remains classy after all these years.

Located inside the Luxor, it's a steakhouse/lounge. My husband had dinner here one night while on vacation. He got the NY strip steak and smoked gouda Mac n cheese, I got the crab cake and the loaded baked potato. Everything was phenomenal. As simple as a loaded baked potato is, this one was one of the best I've ever had and I've had my share... The ambience is very romantic and cozy. There was a photographer coming around taking pictures you could purchase, she was very sweet and the pictures were beautiful but like everything in Vegas somewhat overpriced. We really enjoyed our meal, our waiter was attentive and kind. I would definitely go back when we're there again.

We had the New York strip American Wagyuwoth garlic herb mashed potatoes and sautéed asparagus cooked to perfection.

Staying at the Luxor hotel and casino with my husband we had the best experience we have ever received in Las Vegas. Our dinner experience at Tender and lounge steakhouse was amazing and above our expectations. Our server Fernando was attentive to our needs ordered us what we asked for and also gave us recommendations in which me and my husband actually liked. The food was amazing and his service was an. We will be coming back again to this restaurant and hope we see our new friend Fernando. Thank you for an amazing experience and dinner.

The pickled onions added were tasty.

Throughout our meal she stayed attentive. I ordered the full GRAND COBB SALAD with chicken, bacon, avocado, tomatoes, bleu cheese, and grated egg. Boy oh boy was it good! Fresh ingredients with the delicious and tangy Roasted Tomato Vinaigrette on the side (my request)! It's enough for 2 meals. The sourdough bread in a basket fulfilled my craving for a carb. Warm and cut into thick slices with butter on the side paired well with the salad.

Seating was quick, water refills infrequent, service checked in often until food dropped. Compatriots had ordered a double smash cheeseburger and a southwest chicken salad. I had gotten the slow roasted beets, and the house green salad. Nothing really wowed in this case. I'd say I like the fries and the slow roasted beets. The cream sauce balanced the beets well with occasional nuts for texture. The house green salad was more lettuce than anything else. The southwest chicken salad, the meat was a bit dry. Still was an easy meal and simple to plan around. Worked well in a pinch.

So I ducked into Black Tap at the Venetian after seeing a Wagyu burger on the menu. Being a lifelong space cadet in both profession (in my 23rd year at NASA,) and mental inclination (no comment,) I'd totally forgotten that I had a hard-and-fast obligation I needed to get to, stat - after having already ordered the Wagyu burger - so I asked the stunning waitress if I could change it to a "to go" order. The staff did not miss a beat, and a done-deal without a single hiccup and I was outta there. I did not have time to eat it so I had no choice but to actually let it sit in the hotel room getting cold - *gasp* - until I could get back to it. Sacrilege, I know, but... no choice. But even eaten cold (thanks TI for no microwaves in the rooms - though microwaves tend to kill flavor so maybe a good thing anyway,) it was seriously tasty and... a tantalizing draw. So the very next day I went back with no obligation hanging over me, and had the exact same thing, this time nice and fresh and hot. And it was, in a word: Sublime. - Cooked to perfection; - Juicy as small-town gossip; - Exploding with flavor in every direction like a Tears of Tragedy guitar solo; - And from a guy who grew up eating hamburgers that were walking around the pasture just a few days earlier, I can tell you with zero exaggeration that this is some truly righteous, farm-fresh beef. On another visit to Black Tap I sampled their chicken nachos - being a gym-rat, nachos are something I hadn't had in years but... it's Vegas and therefore WTH. And that - their nachos with chicken - is another to-die-for thing these people do absolutely excellently. So now I'm back in LA and Jonesin' in a big, big way and... they've got a location down at Disneyland. A bit of a drive but I'm thinking I could be a regular. Folks, if you're looking for some brews and some truly righteous food done excellently, look for this place. Not to be missed.

We ordered the Mexico City Burger, and it was packed with flavor. The Certified Angus beef, pepper jack cheese, crispy onion rings, pickled jalapeños, and chipotle mayo all worked so well together. We also had the chicken tenders, which were crispy, juicy, and cooked perfectly. Of course, we couldn't leave without trying one of the famous CrazyShakes. We chose the Cannoli CrazyShake, and while it looked amazing, it didn't quite live up to our expectations. There was a lot of whipped cream and toppings, but we were hoping for more actual ice cream. It may have just been the flavor we picked, but it wasn't our favorite. The food was good, the service was friendly, and the portions are huge. If you're looking for a fun spot with great burgers in Las Vegas, Black Tap is definitely worth a visit!
