Came here during restaurant week! The food was absolutely amazing! The service was top tier, I don't think I ever had to ask for a refill, they were on top of their game and were very attentive. The inside of TENDER is very comfortable and makes you feel you're in a nice steakhouse.

My search for using an MGM affiliated dinner credit was a journey to say the least. It began in Mandalay Bay (lines for my preferred option), moving via tram on to Excalibur (no decent options available besides a food court) and ending in Luxor. "Tender" was on the food credit list, and although they needed reservations for booths (therefore unavailable), they could accommodate me at the bar. Bar staff were fantastic and the ambience was cool - a mix of nostalgic stylish lounge vibes. The food was thankfully great also. My order of the Steak Brushetta came out quick, followed by a French Dip and Blackened Salmon. Everything tasted great. Highly recommended.

Came here while visiting Vegas to celebrate my husband's birthday & Mother's Day. Made a reservation the day before for an early dinner to beat the crowd and happy that I did that because it was like we had the whole restaurant to ourselves. The inside is beautiful, especially the pictures of various singers. We were sat in a corner booth and immediately shown the specials for the day and the full menu. We decided to start with the crab cake then we went with the Jack Daniels three course menu. All of food came out at a great pase and everything was amazing! The sauce on the shrimp and grits was so tasty. My steak was seasoned to perfection and was huge!! Our server was on point as well as the young man who kept our water glasses full.

I had to meet a friend at Luxor and decided to have dinner at their steakhouse first time going. Overall is a good experience. Service was good. There was a stand out the food runner who had a great attitude unfortunately I can't remember his name. Miss your traditional, looking guest house with a nice language in the front very clean lots of wood great ambience The shrimp appetizer was good. We had the shrimp on the better polenta presented on fire, which was kind of cool. It started our evening off. Wright followed up with a Caesar salad, which was done well with tasty croutons. We split a tomahawk. It was perfectly done. Overall the places price very well. I would go back if I was in the hotel again.

We enjoyed eating at the bar and chatting with the bartender versus being in the back dining room. We both ordered the special as well as a couple cocktails. Food was very fresh, prepared perfectly and delicious. Highly recommend Tender if you happen to be at the Luxor.

We were locals being tourists at Mandalay Bay & decided to try Tender at the Luxor for the Tomahawk steak for 2 & some appetizers. The hostess' were friendly & prompt for seating in a comfy booth for late dining around 9pm. The ambiance was ok but surprisingly very hot inside, like a/c issue hot, & lighting over the booth shined directly onto your face if you are not sitting at a certain angle. Our waiter was a little attitudey but seemed to get slightly better over time. The servers were extremely friendly though. We felt the calamari was a bit tough & chewy, but the drinks were delicious, along with the wedge. The star of the show, the Tomahawk, did not disappoint as it was large & cooked to perfection. I also loved the shrimp & grits. Our bill for Tomahawk for 2 meal which came with bread, salads & 2 desserts, & our separately ordered appetizers & 2 drinks (1 alcohol), & tip totaled close to $300. Pricey for locals, even with a military discount for us to revisit but we would consider coming back if only ordering a special with no additional appetizers. This is an upscale steakhouse though, so the high pricing is to be expected I suppose, maybe for special occasions.

Food, service and ambiance were great! Located inside the Luxor, the restaurant is classy, upscale, and has dark cherry wood and dark booths. While it's upscale, it's not pretentious and casual attire should be fine. You'd feel out of place in shorts and flip flops though! The filet mignon was delicious and cooked perfectly medium rare. We shared the Caesar salad and they split it for us. The risotto was good, but could use a little more flavor. The service was very attentive and top notch.

Food: Excellent with a great prix fixe menu! We added shrimp cocktail and it was worth it - 4 big, meaty shrimp on a bed of ice with a cocktail sauce that had a kick to it. Service: Excellent. They came around enough, and waiter was personal yet gave us space to enjoy the dining experience. Ambiance: Old school steakhouse vibe with a modern feel. Great find at Luxor Hotel!

Pleasantly surprised. Steakhouse inside of Luxor. Staff was very attentive. Food was great. We had shrimp and grits, Jack Daniel's steak and a custard dessert. Drinks were always topped off and servers were very kind and attentive.

We've been to Tender Steakhouse twice. The first time, a few years ago, was excellent--honestly one of the best steaks I've had, which is saying a lot considering it was a flat iron. Everything from the food to the drinks and dessert was spot on. Unfortunately, our recent visit (April 2026) was a completely different experience, mainly due to how my peanut allergy was handled. We were staying at Luxor Hotel & Casino and chose Tender for a nicer meal to end the trip. Service started off friendly, though we weren't asked about allergies. That's not uncommon, so I asked about dishes myself, as I always do. We ordered starters, mains, dessert, and drinks, and everything seemed fine at first. The kitchen even accommodated a request to swap the coffee rub and butter onto a different steak. For dessert, I asked about the "Pot De Crème," described by our server as a black sesame custard pudding, with no mention of anything else. I double-checked, and he confirmed that was essentially it, so I ordered it. My partner, who is quite fussy, had already asked for almonds to be removed from her dessert, which further reinforced my assumption that any nuts would be clearly mentioned. When mine arrived, it had a caramelised nut on top. I assumed it was something like almond or pecan (both of which I can eat), and that assumption is on me--I should have queried it. About 30 minutes later, I started feeling unwell, initially thinking I'd just overeaten. That quickly escalated into being sick for over an hour. It then occurred to me that the topping might have been peanuts. My partner went to check, and they confirmed it was. What followed was the most disappointing part. The manager was dismissive, showed no sympathy, and placed the blame entirely on us, stating it's not their policy to ask about allergens--even after being told we had specifically asked for a full description of the dish. There was no apology. Instead, we were given $50 breakfast vouchers (on a $200+ meal), despite the restaurant not even being open for breakfast. To contrast, the response from Luxor Hotel & Casino was excellent. They took the situation seriously, sent security and medical assistance, and followed up the next day to check on me and comp the meal. The lack of care and accountability from Tender is genuinely concerning. In more severe cases, this kind of oversight could result in anaphylactic shock. While I recovered, it completely ruined one of the final days of our trip. Next time, we'll take the advice we were given and go somewhere like Bavette's Steakhouse & Bar instead.

Father's Day Special , 18oz ribeye, garlic mashed potatoes, grilled asparagus and grilled shrimp all for $85.

Used Yelp to find a good reasonably priced steakhouse while in Las Vegas. I was not disappointed. Tender Steakhouse in the Luxor had Great food, great friendly service and a beautiful atmosphere. Staff was very attentive. Highly recommend this restaurant.

My vegas trips tend to be themed and my last trip was steak themed. Tender was on my radar and I was staying next door so it was an easy decision. Decor is classic steak house. Rat pack music and pictures. Staff was pleasant and well turned out. I started with a mojito it was perfect. Then the dry aged ribeye and potato. I was not displeased. Steak was flavored and prepared perfectly Bread was excellent. Potato was all you could want in a potato. It was expensive.... But not to the point I was offended.

Came here with a group of six and had such a great night at Tender Steakhouse. The atmosphere is one of those places that feels upscale but still comfortable enough to actually relax and enjoy the evening. Dim lighting, a stylish dining room, and just the right energy without being too loud -- perfect spot for a long dinner with friends. We started with lavender martinis which were honestly one of the highlights of the night. Super smooth and a little different from the usual cocktail you see everywhere. For food we had a mix at the table -- steaks, chicken, and of course we couldn't skip dessert. The steaks were cooked perfectly and full of flavor, and the chicken was just as good. You can tell a lot of care goes into the food here. And the mousse dessert at the end was the perfect finish. Overall it was one of those dinners where nobody wanted to leave because everything from the drinks to the food to the vibe just worked. Definitely a spot worth checking out if you're in Vegas and want a great steakhouse experience.

The food was amazing, we started with a bread and a tomato paste that was so divine, our server Anthony brought a second round. We shared the French onion soup, going bite for bite and fighting over the cheese and pastry bits. The soup was so good, we had to pace ourselves to savor it because we didn't want it to end. I ordered the braised short rib and my boyfriend the NY strip steak. We shared the Mac and cheese (a solid recommendation from our server Anthony) and were blown away. Both entrees were amazing but I will forever think about the braised short rib over mashed potatoes and carrots. We ordered a drink each, my boyfriend the red wedding with real raspberry puree that was so smooth he loved it (he doesn't like the taste of alcohol). I ordered the iconic cocktail served in a horn. Both were well balanced and had us feeling a buzz! Our server Anthony was a highlight. He made great conversation, was super attentive, had great recommendations, and provided well paced service. He even asked if we wanted videos of the steak and drink presentation! We love asking servers for recommendations and guidance on choosing a good fitting drink and menu items, but love it even more when they actually care about our taste, are knowledgeable about menu items, and genuinely care to guide us towards something we will enjoy. Anthony did just that! He really made the experience so enjoyable in multiple ways and made great conversation, mentioning that his wife ate the short rib her entire pregnancy (I can understand why). This place was a gem and next time we're in Vegas we will definitely make it back, hopefully with Anthony as our server again!

It definitely brings the NYC feel once you step inside. It was dinner time so it was quite busy but I feel like service in Vegas has figured it out - how to deliver fast friendly service. To start naturally we ordered some drinks that fit the vibe, classic strong drinks that went well with steak. While I am usually a filet mignon person, our table selected the steak for 2 which turned out to be a good amount for us. Plus the butter it's smothered in is amazing. For our other sides we selected the Caesar salad (fitting because we were in Caesar's :) and the crab cake (another favorite of mine). Note there are $$$$ signs so do not expect it to be cheap. But for the quality, taste and atmosphere it was worth it and I hope to visit the NYC location sometime as well.

Obviously they put out the special to attract customers because even though Caesars was quite busy, Luger's was dead at the peak of lunch hour. The burger was really dry and boring, with a stale bun. The bacon was quite disappointing, worse than reheated leftover baked ham you'd buy from a grocery store on discount after Thanksgiving. This place is......not good. I'm honestly blown away by some of the reviews. The food, the service, the vibe - it was all lacking. I eat at a lot of steakhouses, so I may have higher expectations than the average diner. Service: - Our server was very friendly, but forgot about us the entire back half of our meal (we even skipped ordering dessert because we were completely forgotten about and sat there for so long after finishing dinner). - He was not well versed in handling wine (which IMO in unacceptable for an "award winning steakhouse"). He handled the wine glasses by the bowl instead of the stem and poured extremely large servings, about 4 oversized glasses from a single bottle. Food: - The steak tartare was very thick, large chunks instead of a classic fine mince. It was served with tasteless bread that had heavy black grill marks on it. Would never order again. - The calamari and brussels were both tasty and fine. - My NY strip was so full of tendons that I couldn't even chew through it some of it. I can't remember the last time I actually left a piece of steak on my plate from a dinner. - We were ordered a flight of steak sauces and they were spread all over the table with no explanation of what was what. - As for sides, we ordered mash, mac and cheese, broccolini and cauliflower....all very average. Vibe: - completely lacked ambiance. The lighting was bright, there was no background music, and it felt more like a casual neighborhood diner than a place you'd expect to enjoy a nice steak dinner. Unfortunately, this visit reminded me why it had been years since my last visit. Between the average food, inconsistent service, and lackluster atmosphere, I left genuinely wondering how this restaurant has earned such high ratings. Summerlin has far too many incredible restaurants to justify another visit, and for a steakhouse, I'd choose T-Bones or Harlo every time.
