We had four different wines and learned about the differences between Ribera and Rioja wines. I have always been a fan of Rioja and we had a delightful that was called Xanum Vinae Rioja. It was fantastic. We had a type of manchego cheese with the first two less aged wines and went on to a stronger cheese once we had two more aged wines. I strongly suggest going to a tasting! You will get inebriated but you will also get educated and fed well. The food is spectacular, the wine is delicious and our server was incredible. Tons of great knowledge and it was like taking a mini-tour of Spain. I really was impressed by this place. Outside seating looked nice but we sat indoors with a window open next to us and really enjoyed the fresh air while enjoying many wines and small bites. If you've done wine tasting in the USA this is very different. There's legit like y full pours to include a couple sherrys. Bring your A-game and a concrete plan get back to your hotel/vrbo. I speak a tiny amount of Spanish, and he English, but he used a translator and we made it work. Extremely friendly. He also provides bulk sherry and will let you try anything he has. We didn't even ask, he simply provided. He deserves your business. Large selection of Andalusian wines and sherries. He even gave us a corkscrew gratis, despite my objections.

I came here due to a yelp recommendation because like most westerners unaccustomed to the Spanish way of living I was hungry at about 7 pm and needed something to eat. Yay yelp to the rescue. The place was crowded and there were no seats available when I arrived. There were many small groups congregated around tables and a few couples as well. It isn't obvious how to proceed once you come in the door so I probably stood there awkwardly for a few minutes near the door before making my way to the bar to what looked to be a vacant seat. A gentleman informed me that it belonged to his girlfriend so I was forced to now stand awkwardly next to the bar. Bar tender to the rescue explaining that if I waited he was pretty sure someone would leave soon and I could order a drink while I waited. I ordered a sangria and also inquired about food but was told that I need to have an actual seat in order to order food. After nursing my drink for about 20 mins when I was about to pay and head out to find somewhere else to eat, a spot finally opened up and I was treated to the most delicious steak and potatoes and zucchini tapas. This had to be one of the most delicious things I have eaten on this vacation. When I finally vacated my seat to save a pair of new arrivals, there was a line outside of people waiting for the opportunity to eat here. I might chance it again before I leave Seville. I highly recommend for the food and friendly waiters but wish there was a way to turn seats over more quickly. One guy kept insisting he was saving his girlfriend's seat but in the 90 mins I spent there she never showed up. Who knows if she ever existed. Bread comes free with your tapas order and really complimented the meal.
