My girlfriend and I went with another couple and also asked for the different orders to be in a separate plate. That didn't happen. Tenko is probably one of the best all-you-can-eat sushi places in Windsor, the other ones aren't as good, or don't have as many options. I LOVE ordering the snow roll, shrimp tempura, and yummy sashimi whenever I go. Me and my friends always come here. Okay, with Tenko you get your typical all you can eat sushi experience. The food is great but that's because it's sushi--there's nothing to really make it stand out from the crowd other than its location. Obviously being right across from Silver City it makes for a great night out and they're pretty good about not forgetting your orders--unlike other places. This was my first visit to this venue. The food was good, the service, however, was not. A group of us came here for the AYCE lunch for $14.99. I felt the wait staff was not very attentive; gave me the impression that if they did not check on us to see if we wanted more food then it would save them money. Twice we had to go up to the counter to hand in a menu. Also, they did not bring some items that we ordered, but claimed they brought everything out. Still love Tenko for the Best deal on AYCE sushi. For 20$pp not only do you get the sushi (incld., specialty rolls etc.) it also includes a wide variety of Asian food! THAT is why I love this place. Staff is friendly and accommodating when it isn't too over crowded. Otherwise there is a good chance you can be let to the way side. It was my first time here. I am visiting the city and even the food is very good and they have an all you can eat that might work well; the service is very very slow.. I think they do this on purpose so when they come to see if you want something else to eat (Which never happened to me) you are not hungry any more. Tenko Sushi is an amazing restaurant with amazing food! My boyfriend and I discovered it about three weeks ago and within the first ten days we had eaten there four times! YUM!!!! Their all-you-can-eat deal for $20 is a great deal and permits you to sample most things on their menu. Try the Double Fire Roll, Monkey Roll, Crisp Mango and eel sushi.........YUM!!!!!! If you have someone in your group that doesn't like sushi don't worry because there is stuff on the menu for them to choose from as well (chicken wings, noodles etc). Most importantly though, save lots of room for the banana tempura with mango ice cream. WOW! Service is attentive but not intrusive, and they have the friendliest and most polite staff I've ever met. Don't be surprised if the chef/owner comes to talk to you at your table because it's common for him to go from table to table visiting with patrons. He has to be one of the sweetest and funniest people we've talked to all year! Make sure to say hi to his wife because she is very sweet as well. read more

The food food here is good. They have a nice variety of sushi and other food for non-sushi eaters. I took my wife and three kids there for Mother's Day weekend dinner. We had to order our second round three times because they kept forgetting it. My husband and I just had lunch and I cannot say I have 1 good thing to say about the food. The salad was drowning in some kind of a horrible tasting dressing and there was maybe three tiny pieces of lettuce. The chicken teriyaki chicken roll was awful. The sweet potato roll was okay. Get the all you can eat and make sure to try sweet and sour seafood soup, seafood pancake, beef enoki, rainbow roll and green tea. Occasinally, the service is slow so be sure to have a strategy: know what you are getting and give the waiter the filled out sheet when they come to ask you what it will be. Then for seconds (or thirds or forths), have the sheet pre-filled so you can give it to them while they bring the previous request. Usually, they forget at least a few of the selections, but for the value you get for the price- still very much worth it! read more

Quality of sushi is amazing here at Tenko Sushi. Way better than Hoi Sushi. So if you can drive all the way to Tenko, it'll be worth it.

Have had the opportunity to eat at tenko multiple times. Before and after they had hired new staff. Food quality is fair for an all you can eat buffet. Service is the only issue. service was extremely slow and staff was very rude, one waitress in particular. Waiting between 20-30 minutes for food and even longer for desert. The waitress was very rude. No apologies for forgetting food either. She ignored us the whole time we were there. This time around we waited 25 minutes for our desert, which never came. When we went to pay, I decided to tip less than I usually do for reasons very clear. The waitress looked at my tip rolled her eyes and didn't offer to give me a copy of the receipt. Very rude and unprofessional, eating at a restaurant is supposed to be enjoyable. The service ruined our experience. There are so many all you can eat sushi buffets in Windsor. Would recommend trying another. Have been to many all over Ontario. The quality is of fish is all the same here in Windsor. read more

We tried to go there for lunch today with our 10 year old son. He is a picky eater so I asked to see the menu. The lunch all you can eat menu did not have wonton soup or egg rolls which is pretty much the only thing he would eat. The hostess who also claimed to be the manager mentioned that this was available on the regular menu. I told that we would order that from the main menu and my husband and I would have the all you can eat sushi. She told us we could not do this When I asked why she said everyone at the same table has to order from the same menu. I told her that my son didn't like anything from the aa you can eat menu but would eat egg rolls and wonton soup from the main menu. She said we could only do that if my 10 year old sat at another table???????. So much from for a family lunch. Very disappointed and disgusted. Will not return.
