I stopped in to check out the selection of pickleball shoes. I was treated so rudely by an arrogant, pompous "expert' on all things court shoes. I have never been spoken to so condesendingly as I was during that visit. I quickly determined I would take my money elsewhere as I will not be treated like that by anyone. read more

If I could give zero I would, rude demeaning owner to me trying to sell me a hard court shoe for clay and I have been a coach for 30 years and know the difference. Also would not let my dad who is a veteran in with his service dog. Not a patriot of this country as well, do not go here! read more

I believe he is the Owner who pushed the shoe I bought saying they are the best shoe on the market. Well, my "best shoe on the market" began to tear apart at the sole after about 10 uses over the course of 6 weeks. I understand there may be manufacturing flaws but they did not stand behind the product and refused to talk to the manufacturer on the quality issue and basically washed their hands of the issue expecting me to just eat the $$. Their response was, " These things happen"! Seriously! It is unfortunate they are the only game in town for a descent selection of court shoes. I won't go back and now purchase my shoes anywhere else. I am currently reaching out to the manufacturer but they are not very responsive. read more

If I could give them 0 stars, I would. My friend and I loved going in here to be able to try everything on, as opposed to online shopping, but the older man who works here was horribly degrading and acted like we knew nothing. We both wanted to get a pair of shoes and when I was trying them on I was told over and over how they should be tight. When I asked about a different pair, I was told they would not fit me. I purchased them anyways on the basis that they fit how they should according to the staff. Played in them for less than 30 minutes and my feet were hurting so badly that I could not walk in them. I immediately contacted the store to let them know and they would offer me no solution. I was hoping to just exchange them for another pair and they said that there was nothing they could do once they had been worn. I paid over $150 for the shoes and was offered no kind of help to right the situation even after I explained that I had only purchased these on the recommendation of the store. I got a very weird response about how "hopefully this won't stop me from playing tennis." DO NOT RECOMMEND. As a fellow small business owner, this pains me to write, but please just don't waste your money here. read more

Dishonest and rude: 1)sales girl told me that Asics is pulling out of US market. When I corrected that it is temporary shortage she quickly changed to Asics not taking order for this year - she was intentional lying. 2)Once I got itemized receipt I realized that the price of short is not what she told me. Then she said that I have to purchase two pair of tennis shoes to get the discount but neither me and my son heard that. I have returned the short and asked for refund due to this miscommunication in their part. 3)Owner (Jimmy Morris) called, very rude and stated that he will donated the short to charity. I tried this store for the first time to get my racket restrung. While there, they convinced me to buy some tennis shoes. I typically order all my shoes through Zappos, but for some reason, I let them talk me in to it. The next day, I wore the shoes for 15 minutes on the court, and they gave me a blister. Not a "I need to break these shoes in" minor hurt, but a "I can't walk with a shoe for 3 days" major hurt. I have never had a pair of shoes cause a blister like that. I had to quit playing since I had no other tennis shoes with me. I brought the shoes back to exchange, but the service representative would have none of it. Said the "minute" a shoe hits the ground outside the store, its not refundable. I have attached a picture of the shoes to my Google review, including the soles. The plastic on the soles is still shiny; there was no water, no dirt on the tennis court. I wore socks while wearing them, I have the original box, even the original packing. There is NO reason why they couldn't sell these as brand new shoes for someone else who has a different shaped foot. I didn't even ask for my money back; I had a second pair of shoes that I was on the fence about, and I was willing to exchange them and pay the higher cost of the second pair. They said no quite loudly, and would not consider it. I called back a few days later to talk to the owner. The owner told me to try different socks (seriously?) but again had no intention of exchanging the shoes. They offered to let me buy a second pair of shoes "AT COST", which meant instead of paying $125 for a pair of shoes I can't wear, I would end up paying $200 for one pair of wearable shoes. I can't believe they said that with a straight face. I contacted a lawyer to find out if the Nike/Adidas/Asics/Converse shoe giants had gotten some laws passed by Congress that legally stated that shoes, once worn, were not returnable. While there are laws around mattresses (due to public health issues), there are no laws related to shoes. Zappo's has taken back every pair of shoes I returned over the last 5 years, no questions asked. But apparently, the "love" in Tennis with Love is about their money, not about their customer. My lawyer was ready to help get my money back, but most legal disputes less than $1000 are not worth the time because it costs more money to pay the lawyer than you would get back from the defendant. In the meantime, I am trying to sell the shoes online. Buy all your shoes as www.zappos.com and get treated better than this poorly run local business treats you. read more

I have been to this store on two separate occasions, the owner seems to be under the impression that nobody that walks into his store knows what they are talking about. He is demeaning and quite ignorant, I have never been to a store where the employees spew out information I know for a fact to be false. Very friendly people. Very poor customer service. Bought almost $500 worth of tennis gear. Pair of shoes I bought felt uncomfortable returned them same day was told store credit only no refunds. Called the owner to register my complaint. Fell on deaf ears. More or less ....to bad so sad. Is it really Tennis with love? I think we will go to Omega Sports. It is amazing that this business doesn't want my business. I will also want to share with my tennis friends so they won't make the same mistake. read more

Horrible experience with owner who keeps no records of gift certificate that was just written hurriedly on a small piece of paper Christmas Eve that I admittedly lost. He would not honor my daughter's receipt for one, says he keeps no records because nothing is done on a computer, and he never runs out of gift certificates, so wouldn't be written as I indicated. He spoke in a haughty, indignant, and argumentative manner. Not the kind of person I would do any further business. read more

I have been a loyal patron for 7 years . Last week I brought two pairs of court shoes K Swiss for $120.00 and the second pair $65 which has in the past been a decent deal. I wore the second pair of shoes and noticed they were peeling on outer layer and the seam was separating. When I tried to return shoes the owner told me it's an easy fix just glue them (really?) or return to company. I was not going to do either choice as I do believe the store should of compensated me for the damaged shoes. I was then shown a few other shoes and decided on a pair. When I came to checkout I was charged an additional $80 . When I questioned the total $80+$65=$145 The owner became arrogant and rude, rather then have him continue his rant, I told him to keep the damaged shoes and that he has loss my business and referrals! Worst experience and customer service ever!!! Spent more than $300.00 and went back the very next day to simply exchange a racket bag for a different size and had planned to spend more. The owner himself who sold me two rackets, etc. the day before and HE HIMSELF removed the tag that was on the bag told me I could not exchange the bag since he took off the tags!!! The owner was profoundly disrespectful and his behavior was so bizarre I simply walked out. But, I was so deeply offended I went back into the store and gave him the bag saying "you need this more than I do." He said, "Thanks." So the money I lost on the bag went into his pocket and he said..."thanks." Absolutely disgraceful. Beware of this store and especially the owner. He has no integrity whatsoever. read more
