Anyway, as with most for-profit health entities, they're all about change. Now, when I say change, I mean poorly executed change. I'm a healthcare project manager and am very familiar with implementing new processes. I immediately saw this was going to be a failure and one that would affect the patients. Now, we're not talking about life-threatening failures but aggravating failures. They had a working process, and without any advanced notice, they completely changed it. I'm sure, at some point, they'll work out the bugs, but it all could have been avoided with a well-thought-out project plan.

I appreciate that she already knows what I have to say before saying it because she is a genius and why should I be speaking anyway? But they didn't get it all right. Dr. Barker and her team are extremely thorough. very attentive to what they are observing, and to what I was communicating. I was given three sleep studies. The first to develop a baseline. I stopped breathing 138 times an hour. The second sleep study was to get right parameters in the programming of the CPAP. The third sleep study, was a wakefulness study to rule out narcolepsy. Her and her team are very professional, have years of expertise in this art, and not only treat, but teach the patient. I was diagnosed with narcolepsy. When I begin to receive treatment, it was like waking up from a 50 year walking coma. I have a spring in my step, and I've been singing to the detriment of others as a result. The highest compliment I could give a physician is that they are anal retentive. She wants it right, her people want it right. I think it's because they want to be able to smile when they look in the mirror each morning. Don't let her rough edges fool you. You have a fighter in your corner with her.

I have been advised that I won't have to restart all over again, which is in direct conflict with what they told me when I started this journey. If I would not have to start all over again by going to someone else, I would certainly find someone else. Avoid the aggravation and find an office that cares and will assist in a timely manner.

When I first went to this location, Lee hwy, I thought it was going to be ok..I went to the sleep…read morestudy location in Ringgold, ga...the room and bed felt like a run down motel. I ​​decided to trudge through it and I paid my 500$ deductable..the next week I was back for a fitting...another 500$ ..the first one i was told was my deductible. But they never charged my insurance.the second one I was told I owed because we used a health care expense card...well we paid out of pocket this time..still no charge to insurance..the cpap they tried to charge 1700$....we. refused. They then came back into the room and gave us a different price...is this haggle with your medical supplies? Come to find out..our insurance covers 100% sleep study , follow up fitting and cpap machines. We paid in totally now 1300.00$ that we should have only paid in 40$ office visit for, I've brought in paperwork from my insurance company showing paid in full and customer(me) owing 0 $..we have called them 3 times now wanting a refund of our money we should not have paid in. Also they are still charging us for a paid cpap machine through our debit card.. I'm calling them tomarrow, and if it's not taken care of, we are continuing waiting the bbb, and our lawyers. This is a scam place of epic purportions. Do not do buisness here.

Medicare required a sleep study for a new CPAP. I was not too thrilled as I previously had two…read moredifferent studies. I only wanted a new machine as mine was over 7 years old. Advanced Center for Sleep personnel were kind and professional. The sleep study took place at their facility on Brainerd. It was clean and the technician was very nice and put me at ease. My room was big, clean and homey plus I had my own bathroom. If you are required to have a sleep study I definitely recommend this business. Everyone is there to help you, the doctors, nurses, technicians, front desk workers, were all outstanding.
