    Delicious Queso
    Mike R.

This restaurant is located in the One Bellevue Place shopping center just outside of Nashville. They have plenty of dishes to chose from and offer a full bar. It is a family owned business with traditional Mexican with a modern twist. The interior has a authentic feel and the staff were all friendly. My wife got the Fajitas got the Fajitas Texanas single size which has Steak, Chicken and Shrimp and it's alot of food. The Queso was delicious and I created a combo. All the food was good along with good service. The table beside us ordered an 88 ounce Margarita and it was impressive. It had a lit sparkler on the top. I was going to take a picture of it, but I didn't want to be that weird guy. This place is worth a try.

Mood: Post Movie meal Was a little underwhelming experience. Was expecting more spices, seasoning, and texture to the food. Wasn't there for me. It was all flame boiled and put on the plate. Steak fajita 6/10 pretty bland but a lot of food. The rice & beans of course carried the meal. Birria Tacos 6/10 the cosume was very bland liquid and not packed with juices from the meat. Not was expected at all. Chips & salsa 3/10 the salsa was runny and no flavor Again it's a lot of food at a good price but there's no flavor to teller food. Might try again for better options but I'm looking for good Mexican. The scene is popping with colors, ambience and music. Service is super attentive as well.

I met some colleagues for a quick business lunch here recently as it was a convenient location for the day, and I was really impressed. It's clean and well decorated, the staff are super friendly, and the menu offers a lot of unique options that you don't find on every Mexican restaurant's menu around here. A kind of Tex-Mex, Mexican, Americanized Mexican, world, comfort food mash-up menu but with a little flair. I had the Brocheta's from the Sea (a take on a Spanish dish) and DID NOT expect it to be served with a lit sparkler. It's a shirmp skewer dish with jumbo grilled shrimp, grilled chicken, and veggies, served over a platter of rice, beans and veggies. Everyone at my table enjoyed their meal. The chips were fresh, the salsa had a slight kick and tasted fresh as well. Our server was attentive throughout. Drinks look great, didn't try any for a working lunch though!

Great decor Slow service The house marg... was different. Maybe I got a pineapple one on accident? The skinny marg my friend got had dry ice so it was cool looking. Chips are standard and the salsa was good. I ordered the Baja grilled/sautéed shrimp tacos. Not what I was expecting. I was expecting your standard Baja/beach bound seafood taco with slaw. It was red with bell peppers and just weird. Also two small pieces of shrimp is not enough for a taco... when I got home I heated up some leftovers cuz I was still hungry. Go get Mexican across the street or go to Louie's down further on 70

I would give 0 stars if I could. This place is absolutely disgusting, a friend and I stopped my for a quick dinner. Ordered two drinks which were okay, then appetizers.....every single dish was dirty. VERY visibly dirty. The guacamole also had a sour smell and was oxidized/browning. We brought it to the managers attention, not a single apology. We were just told they'd be taken off our tab. They still insisted we pay drinks we hardly touched (because if everything else is covered in dust & old food why would we continue drinking). ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND

Came here recently with a group of friends on a Saturday during lunchtime. It was a party of 8 of us and we were sat immediately. Service was ok, and the food was ok. Unfortunately when I got my food there was hair in my taco, and the silverware was dirty. They quickly replaced the silverware, but they left me with the contaminated taco which I did not eat. A couple of people at our table had to wait almost 20 minutes after we got our food to eat. A guy came over to apologize, I'm assuming was the manager. I'm rarely in the Bellevue area, but if I was there more I would not make it a point to return.

Staff is great and helpful. I had a beer but the star of this dinner is definitely the food! I went with the Half & Half combo (since I had so much trouble deciding..) Shrimp Po Boy and the Étouffée. Po Boy was outstanding. Lots of shrimp, cooked perfectly with a green crunchy breading. I went with Remoulade and it was good compliment to the Shrimp and accoutrements. The bun was what you would hope for, crunchy exterior, nice soft interior. It was also very large, not sure if I could have handled a full size Po Boy! Étouffée was also great, full of good flavors and I had to bring most of this home. It was great the next day as the flavors really settled into the rice. I sampled some of the other dishes that friends had and found them all to be really well flavored. Not overly spicy but nicely seasoned to give a great experience. So I was too full to finish the Étouffée, but I managed to find room to sample the Bread Pudding. I'm not normally a bread pudding fan, but this has me rethinking that decision entirely. So so Good! Overall great experience, great food and plenty of reasons to return to try more of the offerings!

When we moved to the bar, the bartender, Ashley, asked if we were moving from another spot. When we said yes, she said we would need to get what we needed from our server. Cool, we had already ordered and we would order the next round of drinks from her. After our food came, my wife asked the bartender for a napkin, and she gave it to her, but said, I told you that you would need to get anything you needed from your server . My wife, not really believing what she had heard, said, even a napkin? Ashley says "yes, I'm not making any money off you". I don't think I've ever heard anyone in the service industry be so rude. We talked to the manager and she suggested a review.

We were placed in the lower-level dining area, which we didn't mind at all--it had a great atmosphere with a live band performing until 10 PM. Our server (I apologize for forgetting her name) was excellent--friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable about the menu. For food, we ordered the seafood tower (The Big Eddie), crab fried rice, and Chilean sea bass. Everything was outstanding--fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. For drinks, we had the Hope Diamond and a tequila soda. The Hope Diamond was especially good, and our server even shared the ingredients so we could recreate it at home. The ambiance is elegant with a lively energy, thanks to the live music. If you're looking for a quieter, more intimate experience, I'd recommend requesting upstairs seating. As their name implies, their seafood is fantastic, probably the best in the entire city! They have a policy that every seafood served at Eddie V's was alive in the ocean less than 36 hours prior! Anything left over is donated, which is impressive! And you can taste its incredible freshness throughout the meal! There are only 30 locations of Eddie V's in 15 states, but the quality is hardly reminiscent of chain restaurant food. It's truly exquisite! And we have very high standard having dined at Michelin-starred eateries all over the world. The scallops, lobster, and lobster bisque are easily the best in Nashville, and we've dined at every high-class restaurant Music City has to offer! The butter poached lobster mashed potatoes are incredible, extra creamy topped with buttery lobster and a beurre blanc sauce. The truffle mac is equally stupendous, with a three-cheese blend, truffle oil, and thinly shaved truffles imported from France! While most upscale restaurants tend to make a very strong truffle mac that has overpowering flavors, the chef at Eddie V's manages to make this, and all dishes, subtle and flavorful without overdoing it. Just as amazing as the seafood are the steaks. Since they had a Japanese A5 Wagyu in the building at $40 an ounce, something they don't have every night, I took advantage of that! As expected, the highest grade of Japanese beef did not disappoint, and the chef prepared it to perfection. That impossibly tender steak seasoned beautifully just meted in my mouth, probably the second best steak I've eaten in Nashville! The ponzu sauce, one of three that accompanied the steak, was delicious. The Korean inspired gochujang was also good, but maybe not perfect for this style of steak. But the wasabi paste was the winner, a perfect compliment to the beef without being very spicy, just wonderfully flavorful. Like all dishes here, they've impeccably balanced flavor with subtly! The desserts aren't bad either, but they pale in comparison to the beef, seafood, and side dishes!
