Shortly after booking we I received an email from the hotel manager Mohammed, to tell me that he had put us in one of the slightly bigger rooms with a nice view. What a nice gesture. the room was indeed very spacious, including a terrace. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The bathroom was also clean and the room service every two days did a great job. The interiors will need a make over in the near future, but for now are still fine. Extra towels for the pool or beach were provided as well. The breakfast was very good too. A variety of breads, jams, olives, cheeses, sausage, müsli, yoghurt, honey, fruits and eggs. One day they were out of boiled eggs when we arrived, so Mohammed the manager immediately offered us an omelet. I had cheese and onion omelet and it was the best I had during all our time in Turkey (his mom is in the kitchen). He was also very helpful when we needed information on what we could do in and around the area, besides going to Patara Beach. He told us about Kaputas beach, nearby sand dunes and a beach where we were the only ones around and many more. The hotel pool was very clean and equipped with boogie boards and children's swimming aids. The hotel also offered a BBQ every other night. We never made it or had eaten before, but we're having a drink there one night when they had the BBQ. They sent us some of the starters so we could try and they were delicious. The same can be said about the dinner we had one night at the hotel (köfte and shrimp casserole). We really enjoyed our stay at the Pataros hotel and the hospitality of the place was fantastic. We would definitely come back and can recommend the place.

It's winter, and actually they are closed, but I found a spot here for my tent anyway. I could get…read morea cabin, bu I somehow prefer my tent. The owner is great, made some delicious dinner for me and told me that during the winter they have lots of volunteers. At the moment they are building some new cabins, and others are gardening. In summertime there are tourists and 2 volunteers for cleaning and hosting guests. I found a nice place on one of the wooden terasses, with a nice view over a part of the Marina. The toilet and bathroom is clean, and you can do your own laundry. Also there is a place to sit indoors and a kitchen. There is just one thing, that will cost a star: the campsite is located between to busy roads.

The hotel's location was very good with services located just a short walk away. The hotel has multiple small buildings that houses an outdoor vegetarian restaurant and an outdoor pizza place; both of which have ocean views. Breakfast is also served in the pizza place. The breakfast was excellent. In addition, there is a Japanese sushi restaurant next door at their sister hotel on the top floor, which boasts beautiful views of the city and ocean. Although not vegetarians, we gave the vegetarian restaurant a try. We ordered the Mac and Cheese and Beer Bites. Both dishes were very good. We also tried the sushi place, and it was average for us. Back to the room. The room was very clean and functional. As indicated, it had a clear ocean view. The housekeeping did a great job for us. We had a small issue with the in-room safe, so a staff member responded immediately and resolved it. Regarding the service, it was very good. Shoutout to the Bell Person, COSKUN, for his assistance. We would definitely return to the Payam Hotel on a return visit.
