This little food stand may be the last place to find great Asian take-out, but the word is getting out. The chicken teriyaki rice bowl, $11.75, is as good as advertised. They use dark meat chicken. The meat is plump and juicy, indicating freshness and good quality. It is well-seasoned, infused with the flavor of the teriyaki sauce, and plentiful. They serve you more meat than vegetables, and the portions are well balanced with the amount of rice. The broccoli and sliced carrots are perfectly cooked and sautéed, adding flavors, texture, and vibrant colors. The serving portion is about a 1/3 more than what you will get at most take-out restaurants, and they give you a lot of meat. It is very reasonably priced considering the portion size. (The beef teriyaki is $14.50.) Their amazing teriyaki sauce takes the chicken teriyaki bowl to the next level. It is sweet, savory, and infused with ginger zest. It was hearty, delicious, and distinctly better than what I expect to get from most take-out restaurants or food stands like this one. There was a deal on the veggie egg rolls, $5 for 4 rolls. They are normally $8, so I ordered them. The cabbage was mushy from being pre-frozen. I wish some shredded carrots were also stuffed inside, but it was just cabbage. I thought it was overpriced for what I got. A hard pass on the veggie rolls next time. The egg rolls with stuffed chicken may be better. The gentleman who works the food stand and prepares the food is friendly and easy-going. He is Laotian and suggests I try the Lao chicken or their popular tacos next time. I might do that, but the chicken teriyaki bowl or plate is their most popular menu item for a reason. It is fantastic and guaranteed to satisfy. read more

Just this for lunch a few days back and the price isn't too bad for the amount of food they give you. I got me the chicken teriyaki plate and it was huge and good amount of food. I also ordered me some eggrolls as well which I didn't take a photo of since I ate those 4 rolls so fast. They cooked and made the food in a decent time. For theNow this place is located inside a gas station so it is very hard to find parking sometimes since it's in a corner street. Don't let that fool you because the food still good. There is no where to sit inside so you do need to take it to go. I did talk to another customer who goes there a lot and he didn't recommend to try their chicken tacos. First off, this was in an Arco. To absolutely offset convenience store expectations, the fellow who took my order had incredible customer service! I learned that the amount of protein in a bowl versus plate is the same, albeit the addition of a salad. We got the Teriyaki Chicken Bowl to try them out per my Yelp friends. Even after fulfilling a larger order and 3 other guests behind me, they met the 5 minute completion time. They continued his customer service excellence and encouraged us to return. They get busy quickly. The space to order is cramped due to being located between the chips aisle and the beverage counter. The line of people for the restaurant runs through that. The teriyaki chicken was great. The rice imbued the smokiness of the teriyaki and the vegetables were steamed to a simple crisp. The portions were big enough for me to let my boys sample two bites each and still enough for me to get full with. Otherwise it was nice to see a cop posted up outside of there (most people wouldn't have noticed,) and it was a quick in and out. We will drop by again to try their beef and dumplings. read more

This amazing and delicious place is located inside the Arco gas station. Friendly and fast service. I was greeted upon walking up to the cashier. Placed my order and waited for my order. The place is clean, small, and in the side-back. I ordered the combo bowl (but they hooked it up with plate size! Thanks! ) along with some sides such as the "flower chips" and the teriyaki tacos. Everything came out hot and was packaged nicely. Since there is no sitting area, everything was packaged in to-go containers. The food is amazing as always. Grabbed today for lunch. Nothing too good to say besides the lady was polite. The food is ok. Paid 17 dollars for a pound of rice 2 oz of chicken 2 oz of beef. Should be called "rice and more" at 17 dollars for a freaking rice bowl is crazy. My advice is grab a bottle of mister yoshidas and make your bowls at home. Always followed this guy a while on social media and was interested in his famous teriyaki chicken. So glad I did! The food here is so good. The teriyaki chicken is done right and super flavorful, a lot better than many of the sit down restaurants in town that just have teriyaki sauce poured over bland and dried chicken. We found this spot thru social media (Facebook) along with items from the "secret menu". We bought the "secret menu" 'tacos' and 'fries', which were delicious... 5 out of 5, especially the tacos. After a few bites from the fries, I finished the (3) tacos within minutes, felt full, and wished I had more. My lady and I even discussed how well-cookek (crunchy yet soft) the taco shell was, the melted cheese, the meat... I didn't even get to savor it all. Have to go back for those tacos, without a doubt. Went there with my mother, we both agreed that eating a flattened squirrel on the road would have been better. The meat was a very poor grade laden with fat and gristle. The rice had the consistency of wall paper paste but tasted like soap. The sauce was very tasty but, putting it on garbage doesn't improve the taste - it's still garbage. This is a delightful teriyaki restaurant in a convenience store at an Arco gas station. It's open 10am-7pm Tuesday through Saturday. It's run by two friendly guys who take pride in their food. They were willing and able to answer all of my questions about ingredients, which does not always happen. I was able to make an informed choice for my son with allergies.
