Chicken Katsu Bowl...It's supposed to be chicken!

So I have to say this was probably one of the WORST meals I've had in a long time. This is supposed to be Katsu chicken...It's more like Volcanic Ash Chicken... I should have sent it back but I really hate sending food back...So I picked through it and ate the veggies and rice. The veggies were really good though. Hopefully this isn't everyone's experience, but this was unfortunately mine.

The girl at counter was pleasant , but when we got the food .. it was subpar!! No veggies at all ! Just a little cabbage on the bottom of the bowl . That was it . Nothing here was crazy delicious as advertised ! Even tho my comment is subjective re: crazy deliciousness.I probably would have been better off at Panda ! The music this night was also very inappropriate a song called the bad touch .. very raunchy and sexually explicit lyrics by The Bloodhound Gang ! I had my grandchild with me! Very disappointing!! Bad beef. ordered the teriyaki steak bowl and got nothing but fat and forth rated beef meat filled with nothing but fat. threw about 80% of it away cause it could not be eaten. Bowl was filled with steamed veggies that tasted like old food so not real happy. second time I've been hear and it might be my last. wife ordered the orange chicken bowl and it was nothing but orange covered powder coating-very little chicken. This place is not that good so gonna find another teriyaki place to eat. read more

I'm not sure where to begin, but after reading the positive reviews, I was expecting much more (this IS fast food chain don't be deceived by pics or reviews) . The overall atmosphere was disappointing--kind of tossed together and uninviting. The entryway was our first red flag and disgusting inside and out stained with black grease/oil, and the very small dining area felt gloomy un kept and full of corporate ads and if I recall an oddly placed tv with cartoons. In fact, part of our group decided to leave and walk someplace else as soon as we walked in. The rest of us, hungry and needing food, decided to stay. Unfortunately, the meals didn't live up to expectations. They were overpriced and seemed to be pre-portioned, as the staff mentioned that items like rice and noodles came in pre-measured "packages with no room for change" Some dishes were way too salty, and others tasted like they came straight from a pre-packaged container (which again per staff they stated actually do) the overly artificial orange chicken. Safe yourself disappointment and speeding over $50 for 3 people including 2 of them as kids who wouldn't even eat one of the meals. Staff had gloves on but touching their face and hair with them on missed the point hygiene. We will not return here or any other locations. read more

I like Teriyaki Maddness locations, but this one was one of the worst. It's poorly ran by a bunch of young kids with no hustle in their step. I waited forever for food. The entire restaurant was completely full and nothing was coming out of the kitchen. They person checking you also is also bagging your food which is super inefficient and also poor hygiene considering he is handling money and your utencils. They also forgot my hot sauce even after asking more than once if it was in the bag. Considering you expect consistent quality from a chain, this one was sub-par. read more

Expensive. Don't let you do half and half on base (half brown rice & half white rice, so forth), saying that they have "fixed" servings. Tried two items: 1. Chicken teriyaki with Fried Rice (+$1). Fried rice was soggy. 2. Steak teriyaki + yakisoba style noodle. Steak looked fake. Blah. Yakisoba noodle and veggies were meh. Blended into one flavor. Ordered and delivered through DoorDash. This place is great! My husband got a 2 protein bowl and I got a junior chicken teriyaki bowl. We also got egg rolls. We liked the orange chicken and chicken teriyaki. The white rice was cooked well. We got the mixed vegetables instead of broccoli, which would be the only thing I would have changed- Lots of cabbage in the mixed vegetables. Definitely coming back! read more

Location good. Staff friendly and efficient. Had coupon 2 bowls for $12. Chose one spicy chicken w/mixed veggies & brown rice The second selection was steak teriyaki w/mixed veggies & fried rice. Stir fry veggies had nice chew. Chicken was moderately spicy with "burnt" ends. Rices were both tasty. The steak teriyaki had poor batter that clumped and fell off. Batter too thick? It was also too salty. I am surprised someone would drive from SLC to SG for this food given the large quantity of authentic restaurants and neighborhoods in that location leaves this New Yorker dumbfounded. This is fast food people! Let's hope the chefs/cooks find their footing. read more

I love the food here. I am a good eater and usually have no problem with large portions, but I got the large order of teriyaki chicken and could not eat my entire plate of chicken or fried rice! The food is good, but it is definitely a fast food restaurant and not a fine dining meal. I eat here regularly as I travel through Loveland on business and will continue to do so as I really like the food. I strongly recommend the teriyaki chicken breast with fried rice and grab yourself some crab rangoons, they are delicious! read more

We've called the restaurant, left a voicemail, and wrote in. We have not heard back. While we were initially excited to try this restaurant after driving by it for years, we will not be returning, and won't recommend this venue to anyone. They seem to have more focus on branding and being flashy, rather than proper food handling.

I showed the website menu to her and the manager, which was even more explicit about including the Wagyu. (I overlooked the fact that it was now also a higher price). When I asked, the manager admitted they have been denying lunch customers the Wagyu for about 2 months - plenty of time to edit the text on their website to reflect that, and append the physical menu. But apparently, the owner simply did NOT WANT to change it. Why?And, of course, the owner is nowhere to be found, and throws the manager and waitress out there to do his/her dirty work and take the heat.

The spicy pork bulgogi kimbap ($10) is also delicious if you're looking for something a little lighter, and the portion will have you pretty stuffed. I got both types of tteokbokki (rice cake) that they have. Both were delicious, but my favorite dish is the creamy tteokbokki. Think Korean carbonara--creamy, chewy, and indulgent. Both are $10 each and you can't go wrong with either one if you're in the mood for tteokbokki. During my last meal here, I told them how much I enjoyed the food and the nice auntie came out to say hello. She was so sweet and even gave me a free ice cream! This place is a little small but very quickly delivered my to go order with fresh fried rice, spicy chicken (get extra it's so addicting) and veggies. I ordered the egg roll combo and tried something new - the rangoons. Why have I never tried those - they're tasty. Get enough to share or your girlfriend might accidentally eat them all. I love this place! It's close to my gym and a great place to stop for a quick healthy dinner or lunch. My go to is the Spicy Chicken Power Bowl - so just yummy veggies and their delicious grilled and spiced chicken. I tried the new Mad Sauce this time and . . . . FYI - it's spicy. Yay! I like that I can find something fast, delicious and low carb so close and that they cook it fresh instead of things that sit out like at Panda.
