Spicy Chicken Teriyaki Bowl was fantastic! (I had already eaten a couple pieces of chicken before taking this pic)

Spicy Chicken Teriyaki Bowl was fantastic! I opted for noodles as the base and it comes with veggies. The chicken had a nice grilled flavor and just the right amount of spice. Highly recommend! The staff is nice and the vibe inside is mellow. Great little lunch spot - I'll definitely be returning.

    Burned chicken.

It's busy at this time but our chicken was burned. Panda is much better wish I would have saved my 50 bucks and bought a family meal at panda.

4.25/5! I was pleasantly surprised by the food here. I ordered the Large Spicy Chicken Teriyaki Bowl. The portions were pretty big. The bowl was very flavorful. The chicken was spicier than I excepted, so if you love spicy I highly recommend trying. However some parts of the chicken was a tad dry. Overall, I recommend this place and would come back to try other things on their menu!

Amazing that they label gluten free items on their menu! The spicy chicken was definitely hot, which I liked. Usually spicy food isn't actually spicy, but this one did not disappoint me. My mom loves this place since she can taste the char on the chicken from being grilled. I got the power bowl but also really liked the fried rice she got. The interior is comfortable to sit in and the place got busy during lunch. Service was quick and kind too.

Chicken Teriyaki Bowl combo, with Crab Rangoons. For scale, the Crab Ragoon shows how small the portions are. Not worth the price.

4 Stars was what reeled me in, plus proximity. Unfortunately, the taste of the food was mid at best. The chicken was charred, but the meat was not marinated, so it was on the dry side. Very light on the Teriyaki sauce, and they charge for a side of sauce. I requested no ice in my drink, but that was ignored. Also, the Crab Ragoon, just tasted like cream cheese and looked like baby tacos from Jack in the Box, but no crunch (soft). Hard Pass.

Stopped by based on a friend's referral of this place out of state and it didn't disappoint at all. The person who greeted me was pleasant and I asked for some recommendations. He said if you like spice; the spicy chicken bowl is where it is at. The place was clean and organized. He brought my food to my table and it was great. Will come back again for sure. Thanks

Had a chance to try Teriyaki Madness as it opened recently and enjoyed it! This is a good takeout spot with good food and nice portions for the price that you pay. We got the large bowl with the spicy teriyaki chicken and veggies. We upgraded to fried rice for the base which was a great decision, it was super flavorful and delicious! For the side we got the crispy crab Rangoons and these were yummy! I would skip these for the price though bc the plate itself was more than enough food. Overall, check this place out!

The food and service here is amazing. Staff is always friendly, restaurant is always clean, and most importantly the food tastes amazing. Highly recommend

I REALLY wanted to like this place, but it fell short. If it were somewhat cheaper I'd rank it higher but at $17.50 for a bowl, the quality isn't there. I got the salmon bowl. The salmon was mushy. The vegetables didn't taste fresh, clearly frozen. The teriyaki sauce was horrid. It literally tasted like sugar doused with pepper (the pepper was over powering). Again, for the price point there are much better options, like World Wrapp or Asian Box.

They weren't kidding when they said the Spicy Chicken Teriyaki is spicy... I had to tap out halfway through the bowl because it was so hot! The rice and veggies really soak up the sauce too. Very flavorful and better than the non-spicy alternative... but wow, I was breaking a sweat. Chicken was tender and well cooked. Not dry at all. Prices are standard for the portions you get. Our food took about 10 minutes to come out.

Is the food served in plastic containers? I'm trying to avoid eating hot foods out of plastic.

Hello Yes. We serve the food in plastic bowls. However, you are more than welcome to bring your own container if you like to avoid plastic. Thank you !!

How big is the $4 egg roll? For how many people?

Its average size like you get at Panda Express. It can be divided in half but not very filling. Egg Roll is about 6 inches long and stuffed well. The menu says the chicken egg roll is $4.94. I had it, was not impressed at all.

We were 10 minutes late (saying goodbye to children) and the restaurant was pleasant. Thankfully, they were still taking in orders for drinks and had not started. Drink menu is heavily concentrated on sake. Not being a heavy sake drinker, we naturally headed over to wine and beer menu. It is much slimmer pickings than the sake, but enjoyed our sparkling wine paired with the kaiseki very much. The dishes were all excellent. The thing that lingered in my mind even till this day, a week after I am writing this review, is that umami flavor bomb chawanmushi with mosel mushroom and uni (never can go wrong with uni). The other thing that I thought took more skill, attention, and was unique to the chef's background was their dashi/broth. It was a complex of flavors from the sea that all paired well together. I thoroughly enjoyed every sip, and the flavors waking up all parts of my tongue. One more part - the meat dishes were not my favorite. They just do the seafood so well. Oh! And dessert, of course, the Japanese melons were as if it was dipped in fructose lol Ambiance is dressy and date-worthy :) the elderly ladies beside me were sporting their Birkens and taking pics of their food next to it

Fortunately, there is another Japanese restaurant just one block down (Hachi ju Hachi) which serves superb, authentic Japanese food and which warmly WELCOMES its customers. We ordered a variety of dishes to share, and it was one of those meals where everyone at the table found something they loved. One dish I was surprisingly impressed by was the Ankimo (steamed monkfish liver in ponzu). I'll admit, the word liver immediately made me hesitant, and if they hadn't told me what it was, I probably would've been less nervous trying it. But I'm really glad I did because it was incredibly buttery, smooth, and rich. It almost melts in your mouth, and I honestly think it would pair perfectly with a bowl of steamed rice. We also ordered the Hiyayakko (cold tofu with ginger & scallions), which was a really refreshing starter. The tofu was silky smooth and delicate, and the ginger, scallions, and soy-based seasoning added just enough flavor without taking away from the freshness of the tofu. It was simple, but really well done. We also ordered the Salmon Mayo Yaki Onigiri. While it was good, I think this is the one dish I'd probably skip next time. The crispy grilled rice ball itself was delicious, but there just wasn't enough salmon mayo on top. It felt like I only got a tiny spoonful, so once that was gone, it was mostly just rice. Since my family couldn't decide, we ended up ordering all three clay pots: the Sake Oyako Meshi (grilled salmon & salmon roe), Unagi Meshi (BBQ freshwater eel), and Tori Soboro Meshi (braised ground chicken). Out of all of them, the Unagi Meshi was easily my favorite. The eel was tender, slightly smoky, and coated in a sweet-savory glaze that soaked into the rice underneath, making every bite incredibly satisfying. The clay pots also gave the rice a nice crispy layer on the bottom, which added even more texture. We also shared two of their signature pizzas: the Mentai Kinoko and the Nasu Curry. I wasn't expecting much since it's pizza at a Japanese restaurant, but they were honestly so good. The crust was paper-thin, crispy, and light, so it didn't leave you feeling heavy afterward. The Mentai Kinoko had a great balance of spicy cod roe, snow crab, mushrooms, bacon, and cheese, while the Nasu Curry had a rich curry flavor that paired surprisingly well with the eggplant and cheese. Both were huge hits with my family. The restaurant itself has a warm, traditional Japanese atmosphere that makes it feel cozy and inviting. The server was incredibly friendly and helpful, taking the time to explain the menu and recommend dishes when we couldn't decide what to order. Their recommendations definitely did not disappoint. My whole family left happy, and it's one of those restaurants where I already know I'll be coming back to try even more of the menu.

Unagi claypot 4/5 it was delicious, but I wish they included a little more Unagi. The rice on the bottom was crispy and all the flavors were well blended. Green tea creme brulee 5/5 well balanced flavors, maybe could use a little more green tea flavor, the vanilla over powered it. But it was still very delicious. Service: 90 minutes of dining time, the menu is large so it took time to decide what to order and they don't have paper menus anymore which is a little hard to review the small font on the phone. I think they should go back to providing at least 1-2 real menus per table. It was very warm in the restaurant even though they said the AC was on. The food came out relatively fast, but there were some pauses between dishes. The claypot rice took the longest and I was almost full by the time it arrived. Ambiance: casual restaurant, authentic Japanese style where you have to remove your shoes and sit on mats. The restaurant filled up quickly by 7pm. We had a reservation for 6:15pm.

We're glad we picked here to show them what the Bay Area can do in terms of more authentic Japanese food. The decor is traditional and not fancy, but comfortable and clean. The shishito peppers were really tasty, not too hot, pleasantly hot. Edamame was typical, nothing really special, but it's a bit difficult to really elevate edamame. The braised pork was good and the lean parts were easy to selectively eat. Nothing here is aggressively seasoned, but also not at all bland, so it's a good balance of flavorful but not overbearing. The grilled chicken wings were okay, but nothing outstanding or memorable - but simple and fine. Our "main" dishes, the deluxe meshi, nike tofu, and okonomiyaki were all great! I liked their traditional izakaya decor inside. They also had a tatami seating area towards the back. We decided to go family style so that we could try more items on their menu. We ordered the Niku Trio Set, which included braised pork, grilled chicken wings, niku tofu, edamame, and shishito. The food came out really quickly. Other than the edamame, which was very bland, everything was very flavorful. The pork was very soft, and the sliced thin beef paired really well with the tofu in the niku tofu. Both dishes came piping hot, and were very comforting, like home-cooked food. The shishito peppers came with a lot of bonito flakes; they're charred very well and not spicy at all. Wings well nicely grilled, too. The seafood okonomiyaki was not bad. It's a bit softer than I expected, but had quite a lot of seafood. The large Deluxe Meshi was pretty big. It came in a hot stone pot with a generous amount of salmon, eel, flying fish roe and a poached egg. I loved how crispy the rice around the pot was. No wonder it's their most popular dish. If you like authentic Japanese food, I would highly recommend this place.
