    Spicy teriyaki chicken

Greeted upon arrival and was excited to see the item I wanted to try is the daily special. Today is Thursday - daily special is a bowl of the spicy teriyaki chicken and a drink for $11.99. What a deal. I asked for a little bit of brown rice and the rest veggie and they certainly gave me what I asked for the veggies were freshly cooked and still had a little bit of crunch which I love and the chicken was cooked really nicely and had a good spice to it.

Spicy Chicken Teriyaki Bowl was fantastic! (I had already eaten a couple pieces of chicken before taking this pic)

Spicy Chicken Teriyaki Bowl was fantastic! I opted for noodles as the base and it comes with veggies. The chicken had a nice grilled flavor and just the right amount of spice. Highly recommend! The staff is nice and the vibe inside is mellow. Great little lunch spot - I'll definitely be returning.

4.25/5! I was pleasantly surprised by the food here. I ordered the Large Spicy Chicken Teriyaki Bowl. The portions were pretty big. The bowl was very flavorful. The chicken was spicier than I excepted, so if you love spicy I highly recommend trying. However some parts of the chicken was a tad dry. Overall, I recommend this place and would come back to try other things on their menu!

It's busy at this time but our chicken was burned. Panda is much better wish I would have saved my 50 bucks and bought a family meal at panda.

Amazing that they label gluten free items on their menu! The spicy chicken was definitely hot, which I liked. Usually spicy food isn't actually spicy, but this one did not disappoint me. My mom loves this place since she can taste the char on the chicken from being grilled. I got the power bowl but also really liked the fried rice she got. The interior is comfortable to sit in and the place got busy during lunch. Service was quick and kind too.

Chicken Teriyaki Bowl combo, with Crab Rangoons. For scale, the Crab Ragoon shows how small the portions are. Not worth the price.

4 Stars was what reeled me in, plus proximity. Unfortunately, the taste of the food was mid at best. The chicken was charred, but the meat was not marinated, so it was on the dry side. Very light on the Teriyaki sauce, and they charge for a side of sauce. I requested no ice in my drink, but that was ignored. Also, the Crab Ragoon, just tasted like cream cheese and looked like baby tacos from Jack in the Box, but no crunch (soft). Hard Pass.

Stopped by based on a friend's referral of this place out of state and it didn't disappoint at all. The person who greeted me was pleasant and I asked for some recommendations. He said if you like spice; the spicy chicken bowl is where it is at. The place was clean and organized. He brought my food to my table and it was great. Will come back again for sure. Thanks

Had a chance to try Teriyaki Madness as it opened recently and enjoyed it! This is a good takeout spot with good food and nice portions for the price that you pay. We got the large bowl with the spicy teriyaki chicken and veggies. We upgraded to fried rice for the base which was a great decision, it was super flavorful and delicious! For the side we got the crispy crab Rangoons and these were yummy! I would skip these for the price though bc the plate itself was more than enough food. Overall, check this place out!

I REALLY wanted to like this place, but it fell short. If it were somewhat cheaper I'd rank it higher but at $17.50 for a bowl, the quality isn't there. I got the salmon bowl. The salmon was mushy. The vegetables didn't taste fresh, clearly frozen. The teriyaki sauce was horrid. It literally tasted like sugar doused with pepper (the pepper was over powering). Again, for the price point there are much better options, like World Wrapp or Asian Box.

The food and service here is amazing. Staff is always friendly, restaurant is always clean, and most importantly the food tastes amazing. Highly recommend

They weren't kidding when they said the Spicy Chicken Teriyaki is spicy... I had to tap out halfway through the bowl because it was so hot! The rice and veggies really soak up the sauce too. Very flavorful and better than the non-spicy alternative... but wow, I was breaking a sweat. Chicken was tender and well cooked. Not dry at all. Prices are standard for the portions you get. Our food took about 10 minutes to come out.

Ask the Community - Teriyaki Madness

Is the food served in plastic containers? I'm trying to avoid eating hot foods out of plastic.

Hello Yes. We serve the food in plastic bowls. However, you are more than welcome to bring your own container if you like to avoid plastic. Thank you !!

How big is the $4 egg roll? For how many people?

Its average size like you get at Panda Express. It can be divided in half but not very filling. Egg Roll is about 6 inches long and stuffed well. The menu says the chicken egg roll is $4.94. I had it, was not impressed at all.

We were 10 minutes late (saying goodbye to children) and the restaurant was pleasant. Thankfully, they were still taking in orders for drinks and had not started. Drink menu is heavily concentrated on sake. Not being a heavy sake drinker, we naturally headed over to wine and beer menu. It is much slimmer pickings than the sake, but enjoyed our sparkling wine paired with the kaiseki very much. The dishes were all excellent. The thing that lingered in my mind even till this day, a week after I am writing this review, is that umami flavor bomb chawanmushi with mosel mushroom and uni (never can go wrong with uni). The other thing that I thought took more skill, attention, and was unique to the chef's background was their dashi/broth. It was a complex of flavors from the sea that all paired well together. I thoroughly enjoyed every sip, and the flavors waking up all parts of my tongue. One more part - the meat dishes were not my favorite. They just do the seafood so well. Oh! And dessert, of course, the Japanese melons were as if it was dipped in fructose lol Ambiance is dressy and date-worthy :) the elderly ladies beside me were sporting their Birkens and taking pics of their food next to it

It's tucked behind the buildings just off Saratoga's main strip. Trust Google Maps, head to the rear parking lot, and follow the sign through the alley to the restaurant. Dinner is prix fixe only -- $93 as of August 2026. We mentioned that we had plans afterward and just wanted a lighter dinner and some wine, and they were incredibly gracious about letting us split one prix fixe. Honestly, the portions still felt very generous, and we ended up spending about the same amount on wine anyway. The wine list is small but really thoughtfully curated, and they also allow you to bring your own bottle for a corkage fee. The standout for me was the Hokkaido scallop with crab and caramelized carrot. Genuinely one of the best dishes I've had in a long time. A couple of dishes were liberal with the finishing salt, but the flavors, seasoning, creativity, and technique were top tier. Everything is cooked to order by the chef, and it showed -- every course came out beautifully prepared and cooked to perfection. The whole place feels like a passion project. The chef has spent decades in the industry, including time in Shanghai and Hawaii, and it feels like he and his wife basically said, "This is what we do, this is the food we love -- let's make a place for it." And I love that. There are some rough edges that come with making the space work for them, but the things that actually matter -- food, service, organization, and cleanliness -- were excellent. Even the single restroom was very clean and well kept. It's a small, intimate space, so I definitely recommend making a reservation. That said, they seemed genuinely accommodating to everyone who came through and clearly care about making people feel welcome. More than anything, the restaurant just felt happy. Everyone around us was having a great time, people were ordering liberally from the wine list, and by the time we left around 7, it felt like a room full of people who understood exactly what this place is about. GOGA isn't trying to win you over with a bunch of empty promises and trendy decor. It's about really good food, wine, and hospitality from people who clearly care about what they're doing. I'd love to see the space evolve over time, but never at the expense of the food or the wonderfully unique experience they've created. We'll absolutely be back -- brunch is next.

Rent must be up there as it's not a bargain restaurant but the quality is very good. Let's start with pricing, $95 plus tax and a 3% charge for credit cards, with wine you're going to be at $125 pp. Dinner is a Prix Fixe thing and they don't have alternate choices on every entree. They had crab covered scallop for the appetizer and my wife is allergic shellfish so the chef made a wonderful rare Ahi Tuna appetizer with a miso flare, but this was a special request. The interior isn't anything special and we went when the air conditioning wasn't working very well so it was hot and humid in the restaurant. There was only one server that night and the main chef, but only four tables were being served. Wondering how it would be when they have 8-10 tables going at the same time. Here's how the food rates: Ahi Tuna Appetizer: A Crab covered Scallops: A+ This was a standout dish Fish Taco: C+ nothing special here but fried fish in a tortilla Wagyu Flank Steak: B Nice Flavor, but not a premium cut Tiramisu w/rasberries: B+ I know this would be difficult given the rent in downtown Saratoga, but a prix fixe at $75 would be more appropriate for this level of food. I am looking forward to trying their weekend brunch as that venue allows you to choose from a brunch and lunch menu.

Many restaurants allow customers at least 30 minutes after closing to finish eating when their orders are accepted that late. At the very least, the required departure time should have been clearly communicated before we ordered. I raised the issue with the manager, she was dismissive and showed little empathy. Anywho, we ordered a variety of items to try: new stamina don, clam chowder croquette, kani chirashi bento, and a salmon kama bento. Regarding the food: New stamina don came with slice beef, sliced beef tongue, braised pork, poached egg, and kimchi over rice. The sliced beef was cooked to rare, and the braised pork was very tender. The rice also came with the poached egg, kewpie mayo and a lemon, mixing it all together with the rice made it have a nice creamy flavor. Clam chowder croquette was something I have never heard of before, so I definitely wanted to try it. This was delicious, would definitely get it again. A fried crispy croquette with clam chowder in it but also some mashed potatoes and tonkotsu sauce on top. Kani chirashi bento had snow crab, fish roe over rice, rolled egg omelette, sashimi, fried boneless chicken, and edamame, blistered tomatoes and shisito peppers with pickles. The sashimi came with 4 pieces, 2 tuna and 2 salmon. the tuna was a little fishy but the soy sauce helped. The salmon was actually pretty good - good fattiness. The fried chicken was fine, a few pieces were dry. Overall this bento was good. Salmon Kama bento is salmon collar over rice, fried boneless chicken, takoyaki and edamame, blistered tomatoes and shisito peppers with pickles. The salmon collar needed some salt in my opinion. For the food overall, it was a little bit under seasoned for me but for portion, price and quality are good.
