They make it easy! Online access, phone, or whatever... when you call they come running. Scheduled service is great of course, but when you need extra help there is no charge and I swear if I said there was a pink elephant in the kitchen they would never question it and just say "what time can we come?", they are there asap, and there is never an extra fee. The Terminix team on Kauai are amazing too! I've never had staff online or in my home that I didn't like. They make a true effort to get those yucky visitors during fruit tree time and a couple times had to return again before my regular service. Thank you Terminix. Bug and other Free for 9 years. Grady's was 1/4 the cost for the same service including a year of service. Terminix was so sure to say they know more but were disagreed with by the other companies I had come out In short. Twice dealing with Terminix on Kaua'i and they are dishonest and shady. First time never showed up, got billed anyway. Second time showed up, walked around the outside of the house once, talked to my children, and then sent an email saying that no one was home and couldn't gain access to the house!!! Things started out a little shaky 2 years ago only due to the national Terminix not understanding they cannot send a tech on Oahu to service us on Kauai. :-) Since then our tech has been Brandon and he's awesome! He's always on time, courteous and professional. A real gem and Terminix is lucky to have him as an employee. read more

Frustrating!!! I'm a real estate professional who does business here on the island and I need to have Termite Inspection and Tenting done for clients. Terminix is usually cheaper than the competitor here on island but for what you save in money you'll pay for in frustration. After about an hour of my time dealing with several emails to local representatives and several phone calls (all run through corporate call center) I was able to schedule a tenting for my clients home but it was more aggravation than what it should have been. If I could give them no stars I would have. This company is so rude and unprofessional. The man that came to my house to do service lied right to my face, and besides that was super nasty, wouldn't even look me in the eye when he spoke the few words he said. Didn't say hi or bye, he literally dissapeeared and I had to go look in the driveway to see where he was? So weird! Cancelled service right after and will never use again. First off I had a bad experience when this young kid I believe his name was Christopher sprayed my home half assed and he was rude playing loud music. Didn't appreciate it at all especially having a newborn sleeping in the room. He rushed the service and I will never request Terminix again. read more

I wish I could give this company zero stars. Multiple messages with no calls back. I am unable to get in touch with my local representatives. All phone numbers lead to the mainland phone tree. I have been on hold for almost an hour multiple times only to be disconnected from the system. I have been in contact with mainland representatives multiple times after being on hold for over 30 minutes only to be told they are unable to help me because their computers are down. I received a clear inspection for termites this year for interior, exterior, and garage without the inspector ever going into my garage, behind the home, or inside the main living area of the home. The person that was to let him in to the main home saw him arrive, go into the upstairs unit, awaited for him to walk around the property for the exterior search, and the person never walked around the back of the property. Went to check 10 minutes later, and he had left. Came home to an email stating my inspection was complete and clear that night. Finally was able to get in touch with the Honolulu office, and no explanation was given for the clear report without an explanation, but was told that if they found termites in the future I would still be covered. Um, I don't want to wait 3,4, or 5 years to be told I have termites once major damage had been done. Isn't that why I pay you to do an inspection every year? I would advise you watch these guys do their job every single time. Make sure you are getting what you pay for. Don't just assume that you are getting the service because they are obviously not above lying. Now, I'm wondering if I'm even getting the pest control I'm paying for or it they are just saying they're doing it. read more

Terminix may be awesome elsewhere, but not on Kauai. Difficult to contact, difficult to do anything with. They offer tenting services but they don't have any tenters, so they fly in a crew from another island a couple times a month. Why don't they contract with Aloha Termite & Pest or a local tenter? It may not make them as much money but it will definitely raise their reliability. Calling their Call Center is a waste of time. People always laughing and talking story in the background, never know what I'm talking about and they say they will have the local office call but never happens. read more

Not exaggerating...it took weeks to reach Terminix Kauai and only after I drove to the office. There is no published Yellow Pages or web site local number so all calls go to an 800 number. I spoke with Oahu, with Maui and the Mainland. I left messages for Kauai each time and was consistently told I'd receive a callback within 24 hours. There were no phone conversations with Terminix Kauai nor were there any voicemails of missed calls. When I drove to the office, I was told that messages are always forwarded to the appropriate employee and surely I had been called. Surely not! I took my client's business to Aloha Termite and received prompt answers, great service. I also mentioned the situation to my Mah Jongg club and two members had similar experiences with Terminix! read more
