New review for LOOI…read more It says a lot about a company when they put profit above their clients. No this is not a hate review due to no longer being with the company. This is concern for those residents, that are continually lied to and taken advantage of. A company so worried about getting their investors a return that they take from these residents. Security is non existent, residents cannot even lock their rooms when they go out. And now the few cameras around the building, corporate is having removed. There is already a lawsuit due to staff posting videos on social media of residents being mistreated. Please look for a non profit or at least a facility that will let you speak to residents, spend the day there experiencing what activities and meals are like. For a year and seven months, I have fed those residents, but I would not stay silent and conform to the "budget cuts" affecting residents meals and activities. For the last 5 months I had been making my own menu off of previous years' to maintain some stability for the residents. I wasn't going to say anything but I noticed that I cannot even see the residents on the facility Facebook page...they blocked me? Why? What are they hiding? I never spoke out against faculty, just fought for residents to get better meals. FACTS Director has never been an administrator of this type of facility, he is a politician/former youth pastor/DJ, not quite the experience needed. telling the hourly employees why previous director was dismissed, though current director is 5th one since I started. At Christmas, director instructed all managers with staff under them that we HAD to buy gifts for our team members on our own dime. Life Enrichment/Activities have gone away almost completely because "a movie every day qualifies as the 14 hours activities that DSS requires each week" of course that's what you get when you put a receptionist with no experience, that took a class, in charge of activities. We used to have dances, several exercise sessions a week, at least 4 activities per day, there is no stimulation for them now. Food allowance cut down $1.50 per day per resident. Corporate took over menus, Dinner menu consists of meatballs (no sauce), celery sticks, cheddar biscuit, milk and grapes. Residents can order from always available but that was cut down to hotdogs, burgers, grilled cheese, PB&J or a green salad. We used to have a variety of hot and cold alternatives to choose from. Outings are pretty non existent, staff are allowed to bring their children and leave them in empty rooms for the day, staff often refuse to complete their job duties, several staff given leader roles have no education. You're supposed to have at least diploma or GED, but they never check. There are actually quite a few alternative places to go tour, and any place worth putting your loved when will encourage you and your family member to spend time there before making such an important decision. The cost of this place does not meet the quality of living. These people are being treated like children.

Rather than negotiating in good faith, she resorted to distorting facts, misrepresenting market data, and using pressure tactics in an attempt to force us into reducing our price. It was a transparent effort to manipulate the process in their buyers' favor, regardless of ethics or accuracy. Do not take me to Novant Hwy.17 in Bolivia for unmentionable reasons. With that said, where is the closest reputable ER? We will take you to Dosher Memorial Hospital, they are good. I hesitated, but what choices did I have. I am very critical about the different facilities, after all, a terrified patient and family members are depending on the good care and everyone's Knowledge, competence, professionalism, bedside manners, and hospital septic condition let alone diet. One's life depends on the hospital team. The ER Doctor on duty was extremely busy (as expected in ER). Nurses and aides tried to get all my vital signs blood test, EKG, Cat Scan and information. Despite their busy schedule, all managed to be congenial and kind. despite my lack of patience. Dr. Kaitlyn Reta came and intelligently explained the ifs, buts and why's of my symptoms. She was professional, and factual. Dr. Reta listened and took the time to explain the complications of one affected organs which compounded the other organs. My collapsed veins were a struggle to work with for the technicians, but these nurses and technicians were gentle and patience. It's good to know that Dosher Memorial Hospital has elevated their standards and one can be proud to say that Southport now has a reputable Hospital. LAJS

Had foot surgery today! Mellissa was my pre op nurse. She has a great sense of humor and great at…read morestarting my in line. Dr Wild was my anaesthesiologist. She was also very caring and a great bedside manner. All of the staff was wonderful! Dr Satterwhite did my surgery, and he had been great since my very first visit a year ago. Front lobby check in staff also very warm and friendly. This is my second time at Dosher and both were great. Hopefully I want have too much pain but recovery is long. They were pretty busy with surgeries this morning, but everyone seemed well taken care of. Kudos to all the staff!
