Chris made a pair of zippered booties for me 10 years ago. They were high quality and fit perfectly but after 10 years of use they were worn out and needed to be replaced,. With 19 years of experience with Chris I can say unequivocally that there's no better business woman on the planet. I had my suit altered when needed and it still fits like the glove it was meant to me. Others who have had less than stellar experiences I don't know what to say. Stopped by February-2019 and was measured for a custom suit, was told about 6-8 weeks, well I checked in April and Chris responded she had not started on it yet, end of April the email went unanswered, checked in May email went unanswered, If you take the money then either do the work and get out of business. After taking measurements over the phone with Chris for my underwater housing and wide-angle lens covers, I completed the Paypal transaction. Shortly after, I received an email from Chris asking me to confirm the measurements. I elected to call Chris on the phone, rather than simply replying to the email for two reasons. First, The price of the covers is a significant amount of money to me, for a custom product that is non-returnable. Further, the camera and lenses the covers are intended to protect are highly valuable. Now perhaps this type of order is routine for Chris, as she deals with them all of the time. I, however, don't deal with them day to day, as this is not my line of work. Clearly I read the measurements in her email. That said, accurate measurements taken at the incorrect place on any one component of the order renders it useless. This is the second reason I elected to call Chris, rather than simply replying to her email. As the consumer, I desired to go through the measurements, and more importantly the measurement points, with Chris, the subject matter expert one more time. Unfortunately, she literally laughed at me and added an insulting comment about "do you obsess much". Very rude, unnecessary, and unprofessional. I elected to request an immediate refund of my money, which was granted. I will spend my money elsewhere for any camera or lens cover needs, now and into the future.
