I have been going to Terri's for about nine years. Previously, I had been taking my dogs to Pet Smart. Although my Labrador Retriever, Spitzer, was on three medications for seizures, he had a seizure while checking him in for grooming services at Pet Smart. The manager told me he couldn't be groomed there. One day while I was at Terri's, Spitzer again had a seizure. Rather than the "get him out of here" attitude, the staff was very concerned for his well-being. I will never forget their kindness. So I always took my dog Charlie there and I loved it ..till I took Chloe there she 4 months old I asked how old do they have to be..they asked how old she was I told them 3 months. So the lady said we'll you've been bringing Charlie here so its OK well when I picked her up she had a really bad red eye..I called and said did you get shampoo in her eye ? The owner said no i was watching the entire time ..I said we'll what happened she then said we'll we did not poke her eye with scissors or anything ...hummmm I didn't even ask that question or bring it up ..so you mean you did poke her eye with scissors ..???? Now im pist . Im sorry but I will not be bringing either one of my babies back there.. I sent them a message with a picture of her eye 3 days ago and I still havent heard anything back ..no apologies or anything..im NOT HAPPY! Trying to post a picture but it wont let me..Just imagine the white part of your eye ball all red and looks like they cut the hair to close to her eye..I've had drops i got from the vet and kept putting it in her eye twice a day.. read more

It was a nightmare. I took my dog, which is a Maltese, and he's not neutered to the dog grooming school. It was taking too long. And our kept calling, and they said he wasn't ready, but they did not know. I was in the parking lot calling. I went in there he wasn't being groomed. I asked for my dog. I waited a long time they said they didn't have him. They gave him to another customer. It took forever for the customer to come back with my dog. And when I took my dog home, he was licking his private parts. Non-stop, I think they kidnapped my dog to breed him. Please be careful with forebreed dogs taking them to this place. I wish I would have called the police. read more

Not sure about Terri's. Been going there about a year, every 2 to 3 months. They are always very disorganized in the office, several people working the desk. The groomers all look miserable. While the grooming was pretty good I think I will look for a different place that is friendlier and where the people are nicer. read more

My dog always comes home happy so I know she gets treated well here. My groomer listens to what I want and asks if her cut is ok. Pricing is also fair. read more

Worst dog stylist ever. They made my aunt's sheepadoodle look like a greyhound. Like literally totally shaved him. Then called her and warned her to watch him for hematomas, I.e. since she cut all the hair from his face and since he isn't used to it, he may shake his head vigorously and get a brain bleed. I took my 8month old puppy to Terri's because I needed to get her groomed and my usual groomer was booked up. She weighs 50lbs so it is $60 (before tip) at my usual groomer. It was $118 (also before tip) at Terri's and only slightly better than my DYI attempt in which my son said I "did her dirty." They got us in quickly, but it was definitely not worth the price. read more

My dog is a shihpoo and he has issues and they have him marked they know how to handle him! I wish cheaper but what my dog puts them through and I can't groom him I can't complain! I swear no more foofoo dogs for us lol! read more

my senior dog was turned away from our former groomer of many years due to her old age and blindness. I called the morning of and they quickly made us an appointment to see her that day. The customer service was immaculate and incredibly accommodating to our elderly lady. She was in and out in 2 hours which is astonishing to me. I wish I had been going here earlier. read more

This pace is terrible. My sister took her sheepadoddle in, she told them she didn't want him shaved down because it's cold. Not only did shave him so he looks like a greyhound,but they cut by his ears. They told he could have a hematoma. When my sister asked them why they didn't call her before they did anythin, the only answer was it had to be done. No apologie. read more

Last and I do mean last time my dog went to be groomed, she came home with her shave so close they shaved off her nipples and nicked her in a couple of places. Avoid this place. read more

they always are able to fit in my 6 dogs all different breeds with just normally a one or two day delay when I call for an appointment. we are always extremely happy with how clean, styled, and trimmed all of our dogs are at the end of the visit read more

Worst pet grooming experience I've ever had. I dropped my dog off at 8am when they open (which was the agreed upon time) and they said they would give me a call when he was ready. It was 10 minutes til close and I called them asking if my dog was ready to be picked up. When I got there the stylist told me they messed up and "nicked" my dog while grooming, and states his cut will be uneven because he was "moving". No apology or offer of a discount. The people at the front were very rude and off putting. They told me the total was $45 but then rang up $50 on the kiosk. Maybe it was tax or tip? But they never explained the charge. I handed them $23 to pay with cash and put the rest on my card. The worker took the cash and proceeded to charge me $50. When I asked why I was still being charged $50 and not the remainder of the amount, she was confused and said "that wasn't your tip?". I was surprised they thought I would tip almost 50% after they didn't call me and they hurt my dog. Needless to say I'm not returning and advise others don't either. read more

Melissa (the owner) agreed to groom my little boy before noon and at 4:00 they called to tell me they had accidentally overlooked him and would take about 1/2 hour to get him groomed and that Melissa had left at noon so one of her students would have to do it. This was not the first time he was put into a cage and left for hours but It is the last time. read more

I don't know what it is about dog groomers but they just don't listen or follow instructions and this place is no exception. I just moved to the area and this morning I had my dog Teddy in to be groomed. The lady asked me what I wanted and I told her I wanted him groomed real short all the way around. I wanted his hair uniformly short. I told her I didn't want fluff left on the feet, head or tail. Guess what!!! The body looks great, but there's tons left on his head and tail. I don't know if they just ignore what you ask for cause they think its cute or its just an attempt to get you back in there paying for another cut sooner. What upsets me even more is that I tipped the lady $10 only cause she made me pay before she brought my dog out. Well I won't be coming back for another cut sooner. I won't be coming back AT ALL!!!! I don't know what is so hard about following simple instructions. Why even ask what I want if they know they aren't gonna do it. I'm definitely disappointed and I wouldn't suggest this place to anyone. read more

Very disappointed in the treatment my dog received. I have a girl that does not like the kennel. So I set her appointment for early in the morning. Discussed this prior to appointment. She waited for hours prior to the grooming being completed. The groomer at that point was unable to complete. I walked in the door to pick her up and a nervous dog (not my dog) was on the table being groomed with no reassurance. I was charged anyway and when I called to see if they would try to clean up the mess, they would not be able to do it. We will not be returning. A positive is the reception staff are very polite and helpful. read more

Took my 100lb 10 month old puppy. Had to say when I dropped her off in the morning (8am) it was a little overwhelming for her, there were at least 5 other people dropping off their dog in the small waiting room, with one customer asking everyone to move away because her dog was "feisty" Maybe they should bring the "feisty" dogs after the massive drop off.I think they could stagger the drop off times in the morning. They had her all day, I picked her up at 4:30, she looked and smelled great! I did ask for pink ribbons in her hair, and she had a blue ribbon on her collar, although when I mentioned it, they did offer to change the ribbon, but she was just to excited seeing me, I didn't want to keep her any longer. I wish you would get a little time with the person working on your dog, I think getting to know the animal a little before working on them would be beneficial for everyone. It's like dropping your kid off on the first day of school. All in all, I am happy with the work they did, I just have no idea if they had any issues, or how she did, because there was no one that seemed interested in answering my questions, they just said :she did fine" while not stopping doing what they were doing to make you feel like they cared. read more
