Pricing here is a bit high, but that is not surprising. They know they are in a prime location and when you come here, you are paying for convenience. The store needs some TLC conditionally, and a little bit more attention to cleanliness wouldn't hurt. Service was super friendly and welcoming, which was a redeeming quality for this location. Overall, solid 3.5, but the cashier really made our day. We wandered in for a soda and drink, and got what we were after, but if we needed more than that, we would probably go elsewhere due to price point. But again, this spot came in clutch when needed.

One long walk inside the building, crossing outside to the construction zone on Convention Center Blvd to get my Powerball tickets. It was bustling outside the store in in the elevator lobby as a tour bus had unloaded people to attend another convention. The cashier sold me my Powerball tickets, and I walked back to Hall J to attend the trade jewelry show. I used the iPhone APP Lottery Places to locate a nearby lottery retailer. The closest was Fulton Place Market from Hall J 0.4 miles one way distance. Quite a walk, but I did it! Walking 0.8 miles, or 4,224 feet to, & from, was an experience for me inside the Ernest Morial Convention Center to Fulton Place Market inside the Hertz building commercial complex, & back.

The days they are open are awesome because they're a well stocked convenience store and also serve food, during the lunch hour. The staff is very friendly and always available to assist. The store and the parking lot are always very well kept. The store doesn't accept credit/debit, but there's an ATM available outside of the store. They also sell gasoline and their rates are usually lower than other gas stations. I would definitely recommend stopping by, when they're open. I would suggest the store post concrete business hours on a window or update their profile so that the proper expectations for their hours are understood.

Last time I had COVID, their drive through was closed and I was forced to come inside after explaining I was contagious and couldn't come in over the phone, and when the pharmacy tech found out it was COVID she said "ew!" And sprayed disinfectant on the counter that I was already standing at waiting to be helped. They're frequently out of very common (and vital!) medications or products, and won't call to tell you if your prescription isn't in stock, or answer the phone. They also won't pick up the phone or actually call another pharmacy when you want to transfer your prescriptions, so be very careful when filling life-saving medications here, they could get trapped here.

Food-N-Fun is still on Manhattan but winds up being a hidden gem because it's tucked behind the Best Buy and on the opposite end of Manhattan from the high traffic. Every time I've gone to Food-N-Fun it's been extremely clean and I've never had to wait for a pump. The inside is also well-kept with nice cashiers. I obviously love that it's a hidden gem but I never understand why more people don't just take the 30 second detour and use this gas station instead.
