The store is very clean, well planned and well set out they have some late night opening days and always seem to be supporting local charities The car parking is very good with priority for parent and child and disabled . Easy to reach by public transport. very good offers available all year round and they have a petrol station which is always one of the first to cut its prices

Unlike a lot of supermarkets the aisles have not been narrowed to fit in extra stock. The only annoying thing is that Sainsburys can sometimes run of items and do not restock quickly enough but that isn't too often. The store feels modern and clean and the layout is fairly obvious.

Unfortunately, the location is very convenient for me (see above!) The store layout is good and things are rarely moved around, which is a definite plus. The token non-food sections (clothes, toys, books, stationery, audiovisual etc.) are not particularly impressive and personally I'd rather see the space given over to a wider selection of food. There is a kiosk near the front of the store for cigarettes and lottery tickets as well as a photo desk and cafe. The store has a huge range of non food items which include toys, entertainment, electricals and homewhere items. They have huge displays near the entrance for special occasion such as easter, christmas and halloween. They have a fishmongers, bakery and deli counter to get all your fresh food produce and aisles and aisles of food and groceries they only thing they don't have much of a range of is frozen food, they have a good amount to choose from but i think your better off going to another supermarket or specialist frozen store ;like iceland because this tesco only has 2/3 aisles.

It's one of Tesco's smaller stores, so you won't find a clothes section, and some of the ranges are limited. There is, however, a handy pharmacy inside, which is open 8am-8pm most days. One thing I particularly like about this store is that it carries several ranges of international foods, to cater for the local population. There is, for example, a Polish section and a Chinese/Thai/Japanese section - so it's a good place to pick up some more unusual foods that you may not otherwise try. The prices of these foods are pretty good too. Despite the smallness of the store and its busy nature, we usually get through the checkouts fairly quickly, which is always a bonus! Overall then, a good choice for a quick and fairly hassle-free shop.

However, I only go in there for odd things so its not too much of an issue. Food is much cheaper than most places, however, like most shops, you really have to watch out for products that aren't 'loss leaders'. I've never really had a chance to test customer service in the shop as I've always been able to find items easy. However, with long queues at the kiosk I'm guessing it is quite poor. However, you don't really expect it in a place like Farmfoods.

The Clowne store is medium sized for a Tesco. It is 24 hours, with limited Sunday hours. It has an…read moreAldi or Lidl next to it, which I prefer to shop in. It has a cafe, but that is not 24 hour, and shuts early evening. The shop is cold, regardless of the temperature outside, the shop is maintained at a constant below-comfortable temperature. There are self-service tills, which are a nice idea, but I find them a pain to use. The car park is big and free.
