I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who stopped to offer help, in the end a lovely young man from Latvia came and helped me. He pulled out this huge screw/ bolt from the tyre then repaired it with something magic that looked like a rubber plug. I don't know his name, he said he lived in new Milton and he had a blue car. He really was a saviour to me. I was so amazed that so many kind people came to my aid and offered help. with all the bad things happening in this world today, all the people who stopped were just kind and wonderfu, I'm glad I live in this great country.

Generally you can find fresh products and a wide selection of near everything (do not come to this Tescos if you are looking for home goods/ electronics/ etc). The prices as it is Tescos are decent. The staff are generally friendly as long as you're not getting the end of shift crowd. It's got a huge range of items, although no adult clothing (other than underwear) or much in the way of electronics/media/toys, unlike even bigger stores. For groceries, though, it's got a lot to offer. Fruit and veg are of good quality and usually well-stocked. The deli and fresh fish counters offer a lot of choice, and they even have a large 'Polish food' section. They have two 'car trolleys' which amuse small (and big) kids greatly, and make the shopping trip easier with children who are too big for the trolley seats but too small to walk all the way around without whining. Staff are friendly and helpful, and offers on food are good value.

Lots of parking spaces although quite hard to navigate in the car park. It also has a few cash points, a car wash and a petrol station. This Sainsbury's also has a cafe area, a hot food counter, electrical and clothes areas. It is a very large store and takes quite a while to look around, although it is laid out really well. There is a dedicated desk in the clothes and electrical area that can help you with any stock that isn't out on display. It has a large fruit and veg section as well as a bakery but the frozen food isle are not that big. Good place to do your weekly shop as you have a marks and Spencer next door and the petrol is always at a reasonable price compared to other stations. Staff are also helpful and friendly.

The hard part is avoiding getting slammed in the shopping aisles because yes, they even walk down the aisles on the left side. So unless you want to get bashed around by a very polite group of old ladies, blend in and move to the left. If spending enough at Whole Foods while at home in the US isn't enough, this is where I go to REALLY spend the big bucks. Waitrose is basically a bigger, better, cooler version of Whole Foods but instead of everything being at least $20, everything is 20 pounds. This location is right across the street from my office so when I am looking for some prepackaged bangers and mash with gnarly mushy peas, I bust out my ATM card and let her rip. Centre.

The branch offers many services including: Waitrose Entertaining Quick Check/Pay Cash Point Child/disabled parking services (they have a very large carpark!) And offer a variety of different counters including meat, fish, cheese, olive bar and salad bar. Admittedly Waitrose prices can be pricer than shops such as Sainsburys and Tescos but often the quality is far superior. Personally I shop here very often (I work 5 minutes away) and find the cash point and large car park handy.

This one is on the other side of…read moreReading and I have to take away one star for something that is not their fault - the bus line that services this route doesn't run on weekends. Just like the other Tesco I shopped last month, this store is massively huge with a major selection of produce (two aisles!), cheese, meats, and then dry goods. I'm almost glad I don't have a car, because my carrying capacity limited my spending budget here. The store also has a little snack restaurant, though I thought it had a pretty good selection for a cafeteria style deal. Great hours, it's open from Monday at 06:00 until Saturday at 22:00 and Sunday from 10:00 to 16:00. (Aside from the bus issue.) There's a petrol station in the parking area and a "freephone" near the tills for calling a taxi.
