It's well located, with a large car park and a regular bus service which stops just outside the forecourt which is useful for carrying bags home. It can get quite busy at certain times, but the service is generally quite quick. The in-store restaurant also provides good quality food at reasonable prices, including curry, fish & chips and lasagne. The menu's varied, but rather inflexible, and shuts at certain times of the day.

They also have a lovely instore resturant which is often quite busy too. The staff are helpful and friendly and at the moment they are doing good christmas offers which helps out those on a budget.

Fruit and Veg is generally quite good but if you get there late in the day you will be limited for choice. There is also a good range of toiletries and household goods at very reasonable prices. Later in the evening they reduce a lot of bread and fresh food - ideal for making those pennies go even further. Queues are often long, but staff are friendly and helpful. But late night visits often mean a second shopping trip needs to be planned to get all the fruit and veg you couldn't get the first time. And the car park is consistently rammed. Getting a space in the area down by the icerink is fine, but trying to get a full trolley down the slope that leads there has probably resulted in more than one insurance claim

The assistants inside are always very helpful and though they won't have all the things the larger supermarkets have, I always manage to pick up the basics without any fuss.

It has a cash machine, and is next to a chemists, pub, chip shop, and chinese takeaway. It can sometime be a bit difficult to park if you go at a time when it is busy. Open everyday between 7am and 11pm.
