This is a mid sized Tesco store. They have small ranges of electricals, CDs, DVDs, homewares, toys…read moreand clothes in store, but they distribute the Tesco driect catalogue if you need to order other items. I'm not really a big fan of Tesco in general, but this isn't a bad one. It seems tidier and cleaner than most of the other Tesco stores I have shopped in, and they have a pharmacy counter which is brilliant. They have recently installed customer toilets, but I have not had the need to use this facility yet, so can't comment on it's quality. This store stock a good number of the food ranges, and has deli, meat, fish, hot food and cheese counters. Tesco is not as cheap as they like to make out they are though, I do find it costs far less to shop in Morrisons, and the meat is of far superior quality. I tend to find that the fresh produce from Tesco doesn't keep as long as equivalent products from other supermarkets. I do shop in the Leighton Buzzard branch sometimes though, because the parking is free and good and you don't have to have a £1 coin to get a trolley. They have self service tills too, which can save time if the queues aren't too bad, but be warned that the machines are pretty dodgy so you often get stuck waiting for an assistant because it has decided there is a problem with your oranges or something.

Tesco Berkhamsted has gone through some major changes of late. It once was the only decent…read moresupermarket in the area, and then the large Waitrose opened, and tesco downsized to 'Tesco Metro', opening a large Tesco in Tring. Thankfully the top floor of the Tesco is now open, making it possible to finally do shopping in Berkhamsted without spending a small fortune in Waitrose. The store is always busy, clean and whilst quite small, surprisingly well stocked. The re-opening of the top floor means that clothes are now available as well as home essentials. I do like the café here though tucked away in the corner and they make a very nice mocha with powder and not the cheap syrupy stuff used by Starbucks.

This is a small express store loacted right on the Green In Wooburn Green. However having said that, it;s great on a Sunday, as the larger store closes at 4pm, but this one is open until 10pm. It's well laid out, staff are suually helpful and friendly and they have some good offers aswell that mimic some of those availabel in the larger stores. Only problem is the parking, as there isn't a car Park so you have to rely on there being a space on the road outside to ull into. Also has a cash machine (free withdrawls) outside which is very handy!

Sainsburys in South Ruislip is one of the largest supermarkets in the area and offers a good range…read moreof food and drink. It has an in store bakery which turns out freshly baked bread throughout the day. There is a small clothes department and a home ware section so this makes it perfect for the weekly shop. It offers a free car park but the trolleys do need a token or £1 coin in order to use them. The staff are friendly and helpful and the shop clean and tidy. There is a good selection of the most popular cds, dvd's and games. There is a petrol station on site and it is easy to get to.

The store is large and has a good selection with helpful staff and free parking. The My Waitrose…read morescheme was excellent with free coffee and free newspapers after a qualifying spend but that has all finished now. Staff are helpful, I bought a Waitrose bag made of jute that fell apart quite soon after purchase, no quibble at all about changing it for a newer updated design despite the price increasing. The free car park is helpful too.
