They sell newspapers and magazines. They have an ATM at the front where you can take out money and top up your mobile phone. This is probably the biggest and my favourite convenience store in Taunton as they have everything I need and I barely need to go to the supermarket.

In fact they specialize in weekly thematic specials, where they'll do a range of either a certain type of food or tools or household items or whatnot, and sell them at really cheap prices until they're gone but thats the last you'll see of them so if you like something lots then stock up! This store is laid out just like every other lidl - same size as the rest of them, the same exact layout. The staff here aren't remarkable in either a positive or a negative way. We can get a months' worth of groceries here in a hour at very good value (although not everything is significantly cheaper than main supermarkets). There isn't the same range of goods, but that's okay with us. However, we rarely buy fresh fruit and veg here as we tend to find it only lasts a couple of days. So a trip to Lidls is usually followed by a trip to another shop for the fruit and salad and maybe one or two other bits. Staff are polite at the tills. We've never particularly had the need to ask for additional help so I can't comment on their customer service in general.

They often have good deals on things like bottles of coke, packs of biscuits, pasta sauces, tins of stuff etc. Staff are friendly and helpful most of the time, and shop appears to be clean and tidy whenever I have been in there, and normally fully stocked.

Off Licence department very reasonable and extensive, often has offers on beer and wine and champagne. Great fresh fish counter and butchery. Fantastic value all under one roof. Only black mark I would give it is that the sale by dates are often very nearly out of date but great for a large family with big and healthy appetites.

I often come here from work to get some lunch and the sandwich selection is a little disappointing, if you get there too late there is very little left. The veggie food on offer in this supermarket is the best for miles around, they do lots of chilled and frozen veggie stuff, it also stocks a good range of baby foods which you wont find in any other Bridgwater supermarket.
