Like all Tesco stores it has its good points but also drawbacks. The beauty of Tesco is that they accept any retail coupons, even if you are not buying the product. I believe this particular Tesco accepts up to 50% of the value of your shopping, which is fab, though they only accept one of the same coupon. I tend to just use about 50p-£1 per transaction as I think that when people get greedy they are less likely to be so generous! I think the prices are about the same as other leading supermarkets, but they do have some good bogofs and also if you have a clubcard you sometimes get 'till spits' - these are vouchers that are printed by the tills, they are offers targeted at the customer depending on their previous purchases. They usually give you X amount of extra clubcards points if you buy a product, though I have heard some people getting completely free items so it is definitely worth signing up for the card even if you don't shop there regularly. All in all Tesco are a pretty average supermarket, pricewise. If there was a branch more local to me, I would definitely switch to them as their clubcard offers great perks if you know how to use it properly to take advantage of the numerous special offers.

It has everything you would need for a full weekly shop, but the car parks are not situated very close so this would mean that you would have to carry your bags quite away. You can often pick up some good offers and Tesco also has a clubcard system where you can earn points to redeem on items at a later date. The store is nice and layed out well with helpful staff available if you need them.

It has the feeling of a corner shop which you can just nip into for a few bits with the stock of a larger supermarket where youc an do the weekly shopping. Always find a bargain in the reduced sections and the staff are willing to help you find what you need for a certain recipe or if you've got special dietry requirements. Are good at putting more people on checkouts at busy times and the staff do try to make things run smoothly. Have often been given free samples and special offers without being asked!

But to our disappointment there was only one working and the lady told us that it had just been given to someone else. At this point we were all getting frustrated, so asked to speak to the manager. 20 minutes later he came with his female associate an kept apologising. he told us to order our breakfast and drinks all free till the kart came back. So I would like to thank the manager "Ian" for your hospitality towards us and resolving our situation. We went on to do our Christmas food shop spending over £600. Thank you again Ian. What appears to be a rather large Morrison it's probably no different to the one in bishop…read moreauckland. It is handy here at Morton Park as it's close to the A66. Often call in here on my way back from teeside.
