Cds and dvd's - look in Asda first, for example Mamamia dvd about £2.50 cheaper in Asda than Sainsburys. Good choice of cards, wrapping paper and flowers, flower wrapping service. Off Licence department very reasonable and extensive, often has offers on beer and wine and champagne. Great fresh fish counter and butchery. Fantastic value all under one roof. Only black mark I would give it is that the sale by dates are often very nearly out of date but great for a large family with big and healthy appetites.

Having stopped at the local Travelodge, we visited the cafe for breakfast. A good cup of coffee and a wide selection of both of hot and cold breakfasts, whilst overlooking people shopping in the store below, helped wile away a relaxing half an hour. The store itself was extremely impressive in size, including all the usual delicatessen, fish counter, bakery etc. A great range of Tu clothing and good variety of electricals, you only get in big stores too. We also noticed that the store was spotlessly clean and the stock was constantly being checked and refilled. Pleasant and friendly staff too.

Even though I asked if he could wait until I'd finished loading my shopping onto the belt before he started putting my shopping through the checkout but he ignored me. When it came to paying he told me what my shopping cost but there was no "please" to be fair I think he did mumble "thank you" when I handed over my money and when he saw me looking at his name badge he did manage a smile and said goodbye...no doubt he'd starrted to wonder if I was a mystery shopper. I would have complained on the customer service desk about his attitude but ther was noone to be seen, hence my review here. I work in retail myself and therefore know that good manners cost nothing and it is something this young man should be told.
