So we decided to call Arcimoto Key West to get pricing. We had an amazing experience with this company! They personally delivered the electric vehicle to the front of our hotel which was about 4 miles away from their business location. Laura, the owner, did a great job of explaining how to use this easily operable vehicle. We drove all around Key West and pulled over to get some food and to tour some local attractions. It made our trip so much more fun and easier to navigate. Anthony, one of the company owners also picked up the vehicle right in front of our hotel. We had some great conversations about their electric vehicles and some of the future options they will have available. He was very personable and is really the main reason I decided to write this review. The listing advertised "No disappointments here", which is also a lie. Had someone come in to look at the bike they would have talked him down $1500 or walked away from this nightmare. (I paid $8K cash for this thing! I can't help feeling that I was taken advantage of because I purchased this scooter sight unseen, and he would never have to answer for his dishonesty. The owner was under the weather throughout the entire sale and negotiation process and well and was super rude throughout. Luckily for him I was determined to buy this bike, so I tolerated his terrible personality. Lastly, I was charged $600 for him to transport the bike up to Miami where it was picked up by the hauler because no one wants to drive down to Po Dunk Marathon FL. for work.
